If you hate the fillers there are few other things to do, and here is the list, it really work for me:
1. Read Naruto Manga, it is much more better than the Anime.
2. Watch One Piece, and Bleach.
3. If you have some extra time and you want to fill it, you can read One Piece Manga.

I didnt start reading bleach manga yet, but if Naruto gets more boring, I guess I will until they stop these fucking nasty fillers.

The new chapter of Naruto is awsome,  (litttle spoiler in the coming few lines, so you better not read if you aint a manga reader).

Sai is awsome, and he is getting well with the team. I hope that he will be alraite, as I dont know why, but I have a small feeling that he might die. I hope that am wrong, but I know Kishi, when he gives that smile to someone, he DIES, lol. Sai is cool, and hope to see him with Naruto always, and to see them getting closer

Sai redeeemed himself for me, but it's true, he's doomed to die.

About the Bleach manga... you're missing a LOT. I won't say what, but I will say you should go read it.

the manga is more intersting, because the story comes directly from the author. when it's animated, the higer-ups always want to change some things...
"oh no, we can't have zeff eat his leg... oh no, we can't have chizuru be overtly lustful over orihime... oh no, we can't just wait until the naruto story is continued, we must exploit its popularity by stretching it out for as long as we can..."

so annoying. bah.

i like sai, he reminds me of most smiling yet kinda freaky characters... like fuji syuusuke, ichimaru gin, yukishiro enishi...
and heh, read the funniest fan-comic with chibi sai and sasuke (along with a disturbing orochimaru and worn-out kabuto)... ah, the hilarity.

I do all of this and more already.  It's not difficult to dedicate a few hours on a weekend to catch up with these.  Regardless, I'm just disappointed on how the whole fillers ended up because I do think they had a chance to extend the character developments on some of the second level characters by following them around in several arcs.  Just because the show is called Naruto doesn't mean that he has to be in every episode or arc.  Let him go on his two year training program with Jiraya and follow some of the other teams around as they get stronger and progress.  For instance, there was no reason for Naruto to be in the mission where Gai's team fought.. damn, I can't remember his name.. Ninja from hidden valley of the Mist, two swords, used lightning, and had a small boy on his back... Raidou?.  Anyway, i think that filler would have been alright without Naruto.  And if they didn't use Naruto in most of the fillers, they could have probably thought up better arcs for other ninjas, like following around some of the jounin on their solo missions.

I still can't believe that there were close to 60 filler episodes in such a popular anime.  Has any other anime series had this many?

There have been plenty of anime where there are alot of fillers.  However I'm pretty sure Naruto is the only one who has 60 FRICKIN FILLERS IN A ROW!

Narutard still going strong huh? I gave up on it alltogether, didnt like the new storyline in the manga and the anime chased me away months ago. I have to say, i dont miss it For me it suffered the same fate as kenshin TV. Dead-by-filler.

Something better happen, even in the manga the story progression is nonexistent. It's just more of Naruto crying.

Does that mean that Asuma was the son of the Third? And does that make him Konohamaru's father?
