Currently you can not re-encode without lost in quality, this may change in the future. Of course by then we'll probably have flying cars and we'll have colonized Mars and have computers that'll think for them self etc...

If you want quality that equals the source then ripping, encoding and subbing it your self is the only option.

The lost in quality after encoding is barely noticeably but then again it's coming from a guy who can't tell the difference from FLAC and MP3.

Just follow the guide and adjust the XviD slide bar (1 for highest quality - 31 for smallest file) for your desired taste.

Are you implying that I just bitch at everyone who's looking for help? Cause you know, thats true, god you don't know how true that is.

Anyway if you followed the guide and have packed bitstream un-ticked then it should work unless you don't have a MediaTek based DVD player and have quarter pixel selected, in this case untick quarter pixel as well.

If you already have it unticked then you'll need to take screenshots of your XviD settings. Zip them up and upload it to sendspace, rapidshare, megaupload ....etc
