depneds on the bot and file. when its starts sending the file it will as "(resume supported)" in the message that tells you the bot is sending the file. if it doesn't say that then its probebly not resumable. not sure if any bots have though.

Most of the K-F bots should support resume. Maybe all of them. You can also resume with a different bot as long as it is named the same, and is actually the same file.

IRC is a program used for chatting, and file transfers. BT is a program that downloads files. You need to open the files using a media player after they are downloaded. If you install the correct codecs (what I wrote on the last page), you should be able to play the files in Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, and many others.

im still not sure what you mean. i got the file from irc. if i use windows media player can i play it or do i need to do something else

sorry for the trouble i think i figured it out now. i jsut have one question. i dowloaded movie 3 and i started to play it but i only got the first 8 minutes of it, think you can help me

Did you get the entire download? Maybe it had an error and you thought it said it finished?

You can try a CRC check. Try going to http://cccp-project.net/ , and click on insurgent. Open insurgent, click on tools, and choose "crc check". Open the movie 3 file, and it should give you a few numbers and letters. Those should match with the things written at the end of the file name (8540B8A6 for movie 3).

If it doesn't match try downloading it again on IRC. If you tell it to save to the same place it should ask you if you want to overwrite or resume the file. Try resuming to see if you just didn't finish the file. If the resume fails you will probably need to redownload the file.

alright i know what happened. i thought it finished downloading last night even though it wasn't so i only got part of the file. tahnks for th advice. youve been a big help XD

I know nothing of this stuff and I need help. I don't even see another window, with the mods and bots. And when I tyope something it tells me that I'm not on a channel, then how do I get on a channel??

i dont really get how it says that the episode is ready, but it wont let me play it!! how do i?
(iam really sry if someone already asked this question, but i really have no idea on wat to do!)

auron, you did not click [Connect to Server]

Baby: there is colored text that appears when you enter the channel. By reading that, you will know if the next episode is ready. If you are having trouble playing the releases, see this thread: http://www2.kaizoku-fansubs.com/forum/v … .php?id=49

You can click the link on the main page #kaizoku-fansubs. It should open the proper server and channel.

The window you are in is the server window. It shows server related things. You want to be in a channel window. To manually join a channel without using the link above you type "/j #kaizoku-fansubs" into the server window (without the quotes).

thanx so much dythim for answering my questions, it really helped, so i've got the episode, but a message keeps popin up sayin 'ther r 2 many users at the moment, try again later' i do like every 5 min. but it still pops up. it also says iam offline, does that have anything 2 do with it? and if it does, how do i get online. thanx so much in advance!

Hmm, the server you are connecting to might be full.

Type this line into the big window called Status: /server irc.rizon.net
and press Enter.

ok, i did that, but how do i play the episode? it says 'transfer completed'. in the status box i click on the red font saying something about the episode. 'server load is temperarily too heavy. please wait a while and try again' pops up. it has said this everytime i try to play an episode since i joined, why wont it let me play it and how do i play it? thanx in advance!
