for the K-F bots ,unfortunately no it doesn't support letting users ask queue positions.

Okay, don't kill me if I'm asking a n00bish question, but is it just me or do all episodes from irc have vertical black bars surrounding them? I downloaded episode 1-80 from the tracker using bittorent and they didn't have this problem. It's just every episode I've downloaded from irc so far (81 onwards) does have it when fullscreened and is a bit of an eyesore when viewed on my lcd and I was wondering if it was just me or not.

I believe you are referring to this problem, which has nothing to do with irc. All episode proposed by the bots there are exactly the same as those you could get via bittorrent.

What settings do I need to check in order for me to receive the files? I was on timeout like 5 times after queue because the server was blocking the file transfer.

The answer i was looking for i was just unlucky to start downloading off irc when the problem started, so linked 2 and 2 y'see.

Well downloading in IRC is slow kuz you get a share. I was dling 182 just today and it took 2 hours. My share was like 30kb /sec.

It sounds like your getting the files thru Fserve cause the bots servers from high speed (10 meg plus) lines. Fserve are users servering files thru home lines so 30 Kb/s sounds about right.

i cant connect to the server...dis is the first time i use IRC...i read ur guide...u said that u only have to fill up is the nickname...how about the email and fullname??...how to change the font color it the status window?....i dont know what to do....sorry

type /server irc.rizon.net
if it cant connect, you may have a problem with a router or firewall which blocks irc

yes, you only have to type in a nickname.

you can change the font color with View -> Colors

Just queue the file from the same bot and make sure you have resume turned on in your option menu.

Sorry to bug people, but for some reason I'm having trouble connecting to IRC
1. Downloaded Dythim's mIRC and followed the guide.
2. I tried to connect once, it worked, so I disconnected and tried to reconnect to check that it wasn't a fluke. It apparantly was.
3. I have a router, I googled my router name and found the appropriate page on portforward.com
4. I followed the guide there but for some reason IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! I can't find anymore info so I'm here asking for help
I have also deleted and reinstalled that mIRC so many times it isn't funny :@
I have a DLink G604T Wireless Router/Modem, and if it is relevant utorrent doesn't work either, even when I have attempted to forward it's ports.

mIRC doesn't need port forwarding like BitTorrent, maybe the server thought that you are "Hammering" because you disconnected and reconnected simultaneously so it banned you, you can read more about it here:
