okay... i guess i can post my character no that there are 3 people in this RP so far...

BACKGROUND: Misty is a mermaid (not like the Arlong ones, the mythological ones), so she has limited control over water/ice (no, this doesn't affect DF users like people might think. In mythology, any water used by/near a mermaid becomes instantly purified, hence is no longer seawater) She also can breathe underwater, transform her legs into a fin (duh), and she bleeds water instead of blood. However, this makes her extremely vulnerable to even weak electric charges. (i.e., a 9-volt could nearly kill her) Also, mermaids get weaker the farther they are from water.

Hello!  This is my first time RPing (Kiyoshi dragged me here), so please take care of me!

Weight: 110 lbs.

Hair: Dark Brown

Eyes: Grayish blue

Skills:  Flexible in both mind and body, swift, acrobatic

Position: Entertainer/Navigator

Likes: Singing, Plushies, Icecream, Shiny things, original fairy tales, comic books, flowers, food (read: constantly hungry)

Dislikes: Angst buckets (People who angst too much), rap, guacamole, bitter-tasting things, narrow-minded people

Background:  Grew up in a poor family with three younger siblings.  As a result of many piggy back rides and lack of food, Tsubaki never did get any taller, and her height is a sensitive subject for her. 

Fighting Style: Uses flexibility and speed to dodge attacks whilst countering with her own. 

Weapons:  Needles and one gun

Clothing:  Wears layers of big, baggy clothing.  Over everything, there is a long over coat/ trench coat thing that also completely covers up her hands.  She needs two belts to hold up her outfit: one right underneath her chest and another around her waist, which causes some atrange-looking bunching.  The largeness of the clothing allows her to hide her weapons and allow for free movement.

Hello, everyone! I'm not new to Roleplaying, but I am new to One Piece. -Fidgets.- I'll try the best I can. And, like Tsubaki, Kiyoshi dragged me here too. n.n; Hehe, so here goes.

Name: Annie Prophet

Basic Description:
Height - 5'5''
Weight - 115 lbs.
Hair - Red hair, which is usually pulled back into a braid which become loose very often. She can't figure out why, but it's because she never ties it back tight enough.
Eyes - Green

Skills: Can thwack a person like no tomorrow, and can cook a pretty good meal, which is surprising.

Position: Cook

Likes: Parasols, squirrels, and HUGS.

Dislikes: Grouchy people, bullies, and spiders. ._.

Background: At a young age her parents had abandoned her and her older brother. Her brother, being only a few years older then her, took the responsibility of raising her himself, knowing that if he let her go to another home she wouldn't make it. She needed her brother's guidance, for she was a.. strange child. Her brother passed away a few years ago, but she does not remember this day, and refuses to. She believes that her brother was taken away and is still alive out there, trying to return to her. She vowed to herself that she would look for him and find him one day, not remembering anything about his death. She's rather oblivious most of the time, and seems to have a case of A.D.D. (or something quite like it). Sometimes she talks to random objects, and she's definitely not the brightest of people. She's not a -complete- moron, and does have her moments where she can be pretty smart (though, rarely). Although she is eighteen years old, she acts just like a child most of the time. She -loves- hugging people, and anyone who doesn't like hugs, well, she'll probably hug them anyway, and pout if they complain. She isn't the best of fighters, but she desperately wants to learn to become better because she doesn't know who could have taken her brother away from her and would like to be ready for anything. She also wants to learn because many people take advantage of her (being that she thinks everyone has a good side to them) and she wants to teach them a lesson. Just because she isn't the smartest doesn't mean she should be walked all over. Anyway, she had been looking for a way to travel to different places, since she had no idea where her brother could be, and finally figured that becoming a pirate could help her on her journey.

Fighting Style: Relies mostly on her weapon which many think as ridiculous, and sometimes surprises her opponents with how well she handles it.

Weapons: A parasol, which is one of those umbrellas used to shade you from the sun. It doesn't sound like much, but with someone giving a good thwacking/thwapping/pounding/smacking/glomping/etc., well, it can leave its mark.

Well, there's my character. I hope she isn't -too- awful. Eh heh. I'll edit some stuff later, since I know it isn't the best. But it's what I got for now.

lol Kiyoshi, you seem to 'drag' a lot of people here...

anyway, i will welcome you to the crew as well, battle_royale... so yeah... just post anytime, cuz since we just started this RP, you are already part of the crew in the RP.

Hey, just me.

I wanted to thank you both for allowing me to join the RP. My first One Piece one ever, wahoo! I'm excited. I also wanted to apologize for taking so long to post. The first day, I was a lazy bum, sad to say.. But the rest of the time I haven't been on the computer, since my mom and myself are in the process of moving. So, sorry again! I'm happy to announce I'll be coming on more often for now, since I'll be with my dad. Uh, yup. That's all I wanted to say.

Appearance: (no picture this time, sorry)  He wears a water proof jacket and jeans.  He also wears deck boots.  He has red hair (that he can never seem to control ), and blue eyes.

Background:  Fuuma has made weapons all his life.  His life and passion is making tools and other things from metal and wood.  However, most things of metal and wood are weapons.  He resents this, and also his recent job on a whaling ship.  Fighting sea kings is something he could do without, but with his weapons, he can stop them, and there was no other job to take after his father and teacher died.  He can only hope that he can find his fate on the sea.  The whaling ship sees a sign one day.  A strange light, and lo, on the horizon is another sea king.  The black ship sails forth while Fuuma, reluctantly, prepares the harpoon.

Fighting style: Uses varios special weapons he has on him.

Weapons: 1: Shell gun, a pistol with a shotgun barrel, breach loading.  It loads special shells that have various effects.
               2:  Sword: A cutlas he always carries.  Made with water steal (damascen) It is amazingly stong, yet light.
               3:  Bayonet:  A rifle with a huge blade built into it. (Think gunblade, but rifle instead of pistol)
                4: Shadow rope: A rope with a weight on one end.  May not seem like much, but it's made of the same kind of rope the mariens use to detain Devil Fruit users.

Position:  Gunner/carpenter

Specialty:  Fixing things. ("there's nothing broken that can't be fixed!")

Quirks:  He is a quiet man, and very shy around women.  He is also quite superstitious.

In battle he is different though.  He has complete confidence in his weapons, and knows how most weapons are used.  This knowledge is enough to defeat most opponents.

No traditional fighting skills, but is able to manipulate numbers in such a way that they have a physical effect on anyone that views them.
Physical specs:
6'4" weight- 112lb gangly, very little muscle
Appearance:
Abnormally tall and thin.  Candor's skin is also very pale. His hair is starting to tinge white and lines beginning to appear around the eyes. Looks permenantly stressed and tends to move about in jerky fashion. Generally wears a plain white robe, which he keeps on no matter how or cold it gets.

Warfare Mathematics has 5 stages, each representing various levels of power and skill. Candor is the only one who has obtained the skills to create a final proof, because of his wisdom fruit power. The power of warfare mathematics is that it does not require the person to understand the symbols, or get anything more than a glance and it, because the sight of them strikes a chord at their most basic level, which creates a negative effect on the peson. the Revolutionary and final proofs are so powerful that they even have have an effect on the world surrounding them, meaning as soon as they are written down they take effect. The only way to stop the action of these proofs is to provide a balancing equation after it or burn whatever the sum is written on.

Basic Proof
The simplest type of all warfare mathematics, this type has only the most subtle of effects on a target. It can make them forget what they were doing, begin to feel ill, or fall asleep etc. These are most useful as distractions

elaborate proof
This more powerful type of proof can cause various types of physical pain in the opponent, which can comprise of anything from a burning sensation to reopening old wounds on the person. They are combat sums that can be written and presented very quickly.

uncontestable proof
These will incapacitate the adversary in various ways. This can include temporary paralysis, blindness or incapacitating pain. The most powerful uncontestable proofs can even break specific bones in a persons body. It can take a few seconds for these proofs to be written down, although a truly quick warfare mathematician can do one almost as quickly as  an elaborate proof

Revolutionary proof
These are devestating formula's that can permenantly maim or even kill weaker people. They can cause the heart to stop pumping, or the brain to stop functioning with very simple adjustments. They also have a practical use as equations that affect the physical world, and so can be used to influece anything from weather patterns and tides, to the volume in a cup. These can take several minutes depending on the formula used.

Final proof
The final proof is a monstrously powerful weapon which can only be used at great risk to the writer as well as the targets. It is supposedly the proof that any persons existence is utterly pointless, and anyone who gazes upon it, even the one who writes it, will instantly suffer a fatal stroke. For this reason when it is being written, the mathematician himself must keep his eyes closed as long as he is writing it. This puts him at a considerable disadvantage as the final proof can take anything up to an hour to write out. With some alterations the final proof can also be used to change such things like the strength of gravity or the size of a land mass. However even then the equation is equally fatal and cannot be viewed by anyone safely.

Personal info:
Candor was destined for the role as a warrior mathematician ever since he was born. He comes from a tiny and not commonly known  island located at the fringes of the part of the calm belt that runs through South Blue which has become a  haven for those wishing to become learned. The island, although officially unnamed has come to be known to those that visit it as Sapientia. Becaue of it's position in the calm belt, it is often attacked by the Sea Kings that pass it by, and over countless years has developed the art of warfare mathematics to incapacitate any assailents to the island. The concept of warfare mathematics is a strange one, as it uses nothing more than a pencil and paper, but depending on what is written down, it is able to discourage, hurt, or even kill it's target. The reason this wrks is because after centuries of deep thinking, the mathematicians on the island discovered certain equations and proofs that were impossible for the untrained to understand, and the mere sight of such arcane symbols scrawled across the page hurt them at some base level. This fluke discovery has been refined into an art, where a master of warfare maths can manipulate and twist numbers to the extent that they exert a force on the physical world around them. (If you find all this a bit hard to visualise think of it a bit like Miss Goldenweek's ability to paint emotions.) Because of the potential power of warfare mathematics, it is only taught to those trained in it from birth, not least because it takes years of studying both maths and philosophy to be able to understand the reasoning that allows the equations used to be correct.

When Candor was born, he was sent to one of the universities on Sapientia to become a warrior mathematician, as there were few other careers open to a native of the island. From an early age he displayed an unusual talent for warfare maths, and was able to progress more quickly than any of his classmates, studying the works of his predecessors before he was ten and producing his first piece of warfare maths by twelve. Unfortunately he was not such a prodigé when it came to social interaction, and was always finding himself on his own, and because of this spent even more time devoting himself to his studies. Despite his outside appearence of not caring that he had no nakama, secretly Candor yearned for them more than ever. Eventually this desire grew so strong that on his eighteenth birthday he decided to take the island's greatest treasure, the wisdom fruit, believing if he ate it that he would learn the secret of making friends. He stole the fruit from it's store case and ate it, not realising what would happen to him if he did.

The wisdom fruit did not teach Candor how to make friends, instead he was able to discover the Final Proof, and was able to divine the truth of all things. The burden of this knowledge almost crippled Candor, prematurely ageing his hair and forcing him to stoop as he carried the responsibility of knowing anything he cast his mind to. Because of this great act of disobediance in eating the wisdom fruit Candor was cast out of his home and island, and told he would never be allowed to return. For the last eight years Candor has hitched rides from island to island in South Blue, trying to forget his past, and to drown out all the information the wisdom fruit imbued him with. What he wants most is to find Nakama, believing that if he does, they will somehow share the load he carries in his mind. Unfortunately he is unable to find any, since people are discouraged by his strange manner, and his reluctance to speak. On rare occasions that Candor does choose to speak for any longer than a second or two, people are disturbed by the insights he makees into their lives and pasts. However as long as he has Nakama, Candor does not care what kind of person he is and will continue to search South Blue for as long as it takes.

then you'll probably have no idea what my character can do. And I'll hold back on joining until everyone manages to get into a fight. I just have an idea....
