I can see where you are coming from katana master. I am not the smartest person you will ever meet, but I am very interested in this story, and for some reason naturally inclined to math and science, so I can get my feeble mind around it. Toenails, they might be hard to understand for those who are not naturally inclined to math or writing, but I see what you are saying. your posts are not as complex as they are creative. please jump in Straw_Hats_Rule; I hope I speak for all of us when I say that we are happy to have you on the crew.

HEY EVERYBODY! Sorry I haven't been as active lately but school has really been kicking my butt lately, I got Spanish, Art, History, Math....blah blah blah, so many test it's starting to make me insane. Any way, I don't think I'll be able to make a good 10+ post 'till next week, sorry again.

As for Aztec Island...since it was my idea in the first place, I'll throw out some ideas for you guys, and hopefully I can get active again around next Friday or earlier:

I was thinking maybe in this city (Ryxia port?), that we meet one of the inhabinants from Aztec Island( as for a name we need a better one, than Aztec Island...how about Tenoch-Titla? It's derived from the aztec capital city, but you guys can look around for better ideas too)

Anyway back to the character we meet, this is what I was thinking:

Xochi, a young attractive woman, who is pretty much the human embodyment of flirtation. She constantly flirts with all the guys and...let's just say she's...well endowed.
Maybe Vincent, with all his gambling and drinking could've met her in his drunkeness and they next morning she ends up on the ship out to sea. She says the next Island is hers, and maybe we could take her there.

The reality is that Xochi is actually sceduled to be sacrificed, and she's heading back to meet her "appointment".

That's a really rough draft, and you guys feel free to poke, prod, or completly reject. I hope this arc turns into some real fun...maybe a main boss who can control blood...or "GASP" vampires!(who act like the gods, so they can have a flowing supply of sacrificial blood). Anyway, you guys throw some more ideas out there so maybe this arc can rival that of Arabasta!(IN our dreams)

ok so i like quetzals rough draft, and after thinking for a few, i came up with this version thats a little deeper.

Xochi discovered she was going to be the next sacrifice of to the "blood god" and was given a month to do as she pleased. She decided to fulfill all her earthly desires on an island not too far away so she would be able to return to her "honored duty" quickly while maximizing the time she has on earth *or w/e planet the one piece world is* After a while she discovers she has lost her means of returning home and begins to panic as the time has come to leave for Tenoch-Titla. Becoming desperate she attempts to use her flirting ability to cox drunken *or otherwise* men into giving her a ride back to her homeland.

I like the vampire idea but i dont wanna use a real vampire so if you give me about an hour or so ill come up with a guy thats based of the original dracula, Vlad the Impaler.

i also notice part of her name is your characters name, lol. jk im not implyin anything. unles..its true...then itd be weird.

anyway.
i wanna read up some on Vlad "the Impaler" Dracula before basing a character on him, so ill get him up tomorrow, maybe less depending on how much i wanna sweat my hw for tomorrow.

edit: nevermind...omg that guy was morbid...ok ill post a character thats based on him in about half an hour.

NAME: Moriasin
AGE: 35
SEX: Male
BASIC DESCRIPTION (height, weight, hair color, eye color, etc.): black messy hair which partially covers his blood red eyes. Usually has a solemn face unless he is amused by some "sacrifice" before him, then he desplays a chilling grin. Wears a long robe given to him by his subjects. underneath it he is bear chested with pants. His spear is slung on his back at all times.
DF (Optional): *uh...u guys decide and ill edit it in if yes...*
SKILLS: knowing exactly what will get to a person. using his wits and powers to get what he wants
POSITION: "god" of Xochi's people
LIKES: ordering the Xochi's people to give him a sacrifice periodically and then torturing them for his own amusment or impaling them on spikes in the seclution of his tome(?)*crap i cant spell, like the graves given to the royals of ancient times*.
DISLIKES: anyone who opposes him, but he doesnt outwardly shows it, instead he orders another sacrifice and hints at who he wants.
WEAPONS:uses a spear.
OTHER (anything about your character that doesn't fit in the other categories):

oops sry man i just read your post, ya a council of gods would fit better than just one dude. so my guy can be one of them. if you want ill try to come up with other characters.

if everyone else wants to do an all vampire thing than sure but i cast my vote towards the whole idea of have a civilization under the influence of a council of people who act a lot like vampires, either by a fruit or simple blood lust like Vlad the Impaler

How does he know so many names? Easy. He clicks on profiles. He knew toenails' (Gerard) and mine (Dave) from our profiles. Then, he uses them at random times to creep us out

I like your original guy, I just wanted to stress that a whole counsel of vlads would be pretty hard to deal with, even for our crew, which by the way is pretty amazing right now. we could have him, a couple of other fighters, maybe some more manipulative non-fighting ones, and even one or two that can actually control people, since vampiric lore does involve those who can hypnotize mortal people. we could also give some (or the leader at least) some more vlad-like qualities, or the qualities of a blood drinking Aztec god, if quetzal can fill us in on one like that. all of these are good ideas, and I like the fact that the Aztec island isn't gonna be too predictable, in that they might not all be god obsessed, but instead just manipulating the people to feed their thirst for blood.

he just kinda stopped posting so we just kinda pretended he never happened, even though he was an important plot device on the marine island wher we met quetzal
