In this great age of pirates, many pirates come forth to claim the ultimate treasure, One Piece. Dimitri was part of one such crew. The small and tall buildings made up the town that he and his crewmates were currently visiting. Crystal Island was known for its beautiful jewelary, perhaps I should get two for the lovely ladies. he thought, amused by the notion. He conitnued his stroll down Ruby Town's streets, his shoes moving the dirt that made the roads. He passed the shops, inns, and bars that were filled with people as they all went about their business of the day. So peaceful he mused as he walked towards the dock. Towards his crew.

People stared as a rather small girl bounced from shop window to shop window, squealing with excitement.
"Waa~!!! It's so shiny and pretty and shiny!!" Then, the clock tower located in the center of the island rang twice with clear, ringing tones.
"Omigod! I'm late!" Wailing, Tsubaki charged through the street, dangerously and narrowly avoiding innocent passerbys. As the inn located at the docks came into view, she crashed into a tall, dark, and handsome man.
"Kyaa! I'm so sorry Dimitri~!" The brunette profusely, and loudly, apologized to the bewildered man she was now on top off.

Misty was by the dock playing with a stream of blue water that circled her head like a liquid halo. As Dimitri approached, she swirled the water around once more and let it fall as a ring of rain.
"Dimitri, we need a new ship..." but she broke off as a small girl crashed into Dimitri. She walked towards them. "Dimitri!"
"Yes?" he answered.
"Would you go sell our little dinghy and get us a nice boat please?" Misty asked.

Chuckling, pushed the younger girl off of him "It's fine, Miss Tsubaki." The small girl was still crying as Dimitri rose and face his captain. Bowing slightly he answered her, "Of course, Miss Misty." Then with a sigh he walked to find a buy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dimitri found himself under the rays of the setting sun, walking alongside two men towards the docks once more. "So how much is this boat again?" the elder of the two inquired.
Dimitri smiled kindly, "Five hundred beli, sir." answering for the fifth time. Dimitri had found in the street talking to who he assumed was his son about how he wished to have a means to fish somewhere other than the docks. He had quickly walked up to him and offered his crewmates small dinghy.
Upon arrriving at the small boat, Dimitri swepted his hand in the air and presented the potential fishing vessel. They both inspected it for a little bit, checking to see if it would hold the rods, line, and fish. After an hour of answering questions, Dimitri held in his hands the men's money for the ship. He then turned to leave the two men with their latest buy, heading towards a fine looking ship that seemed big enough to accomadate the crew and some supplies. He walked up to the nearest man, "Sir."
"What?" the gruff dock-worker replied.
"Do you know who owns this ship?"
The man looked at the ship that Dimitri was pointing at, "Yah, that's the old man's rig." he turned and pointed to a man standing in front of a small shop. "Thank you." Dimitri said tilting his head slightly.
Dimitri approached the man as he just as he was moving away from the door. "You are the owner of that ship, correct?" Dimitri asked politely, gesturing once more towards the docked vessel. The man nodded his head, "Do ya wan' it?" he mumbled. When Dimitri nodded in response, the bigger man laughed. "A'ight," he said still laughing. However, before Dimitri could ask what his price was the "old man" raised his hand to stop him. "But," he began, "o'ly if ya can beat me ina fight!" The larger man threw a punch towards Dimitri who quickly jumped back to avoid impact. The "old man" laughed again, "THE SHIP IS YOURS IF YA CAN BEAT ME IN A FIGHT!!" he repeated loudly as a crowd quickly circled them both. Dimitri smiled at the proclaimation. "Well that certainly makes things easier for me." he replied as he readied himself.
The burly man charged him and Dimitri side-stepped him. The man managed to stop himself before plunging down into the water under the docks, then he turned and threw something shiny at his opponent. Dimitri caught it deftly and then tossed it into the cement that made up the dock area. Without anything new to do, the man opted to charge once more. Dimitri shook his head at the repetition. Rather than side step the foolish fighter, Dimitri raised his knee. His opponent slammed into it and then slumped down onto the ground next to his knife. The crowd dispersed, muttering about how the fight wasn't worth seeing.
Dimitri agreed as he walked towards his newly won transport.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General chatter filled Dimitri's ears as he walked into the nearest tavern in search of his nakama. He spied them sitting at the bar talking and drinking the night away. Grinning brightly at his succes, he made his way toward the bar.

"And purple, pink penguins dance upon the curry covered sands of..." Tsubaki drunkenly sang a nonsensical tune while drinking her fourth shot.
"Miss Tsubaki, I believe you've had enough to drink." Dimitri said bemused as he entered the raucous tavern. Tsubaki drank her fifth shot of gin and said,
"Oi! It's Dimitri! How goes the ship hunt-" True enough, after her fifth shot, the smallish teen proceeded to pass out on the floor.

The sun struck Dimitri's peaceful countenance and slowly the man rose from his bed. He quietly dressed himself in the room as sunlight continue to spill in through the window, the warmth from the sun filling his soul. Dimitri felt creative now as the sun rose higher into the sky. He deftly walked out of the room, down the stairs, and into the parlor of the hotel they were staying at. The other night they had agreed to treat themselves to one of the nicer hotels in the town. The parlor was filled with well dressed men and women as they greeted each other in the morning light.
In the corner of the room, Dimitri spotted a piano that sat neglected by everyone in the room. He walked up to it and tested it several keys, it was well tuned. Smiling softly, Dimitri sat down and began to play a soft melody. The notes spread throughout the room replacing the voices of the people as they turned to see where the music was originating. Dimitri's smile widened slightly as the crowd began to smile as his fingers moved from piano key to piano key.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dimitri was playing peacefully in the morning light as the men and women moved around more now, resuming their talks and gossips.
"I heard a captain of the marines will be visiting the town."
"Really? Is he going to investigate the wrecked ship by the shoreline?"
"I think so. He's suppose to arrive tomorrow morning."
Dimitri sighed lightly, seems as if we had better leave soon. he thought. He continued to play, taking care not to react to the rumors that were being spread about the captain of the marines.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An hour past. Two. The crew had woken by now and all had walked out into the town. All except Tsubaki who had a hangover and instead opted to drown in her aches in the chair behind him. After a few moments of groaning from Tsubaki, Dimitri got up from the piano chair and wordlessly picked the small girl up.
"what's going on...?" she asked softly.
Dimitri smiled kindly and walked up the stairs to her room where he promptly put her in bed. Then he walked out of the room as the sickened girl fell asleep. Dimitri closed the door silently and walked back down the stairs. perhaps I shall explore the wrecks of the ship before the good captain arrives. he thought absantly. Deep in thought, Dimitri didn't hear the men under him shouting questions into the crowd.
As soon as Dimitri's feet touched the bottom floor something was thrown at him. Catching the object's image in the corner of his eye, he quickly bent his knees to avoid it. A loud crash reached his ears as the vase slammed against the wall and soon after pieces of the pottery was raining down on his head.
"SO THERE YOU ARE!!" the offending pitcher roared. Dimitri didn't answer, rather stood up and slowly brushed the debris off of him and out of his hair. He looked up and his eyesbrows rose in slight surprise as his eyes told him the "old man" from the docks had returned. And with some friends no less. he thought, noting the group of five standing with the man. "Can I help you gentlemen?" he asked softly.
"Ya, you can give Petey here 'is ship bac'." replied a mousy looking man on Petey's right. Dimitri scoffed, smiling while Petey struck the offending friend, "DON'T CALL ME THAT, IDIOT!" he cried. The smaller man keeled over, having been struck too hard by his leader. Dimitri lost his smile and turned his peircing eyes on Petey and began to speak. "Now that was not very nice." he admonished. Petey glared back at the man by the stairs. He looked at like he was going to answer, but then stopped and thought about it. After a few tense moments he opened his mouth once more, "Just 'ive me my ship." he growled, "or we'll 'ave to 'urt ya."
Dimitri didn't reply, he simply stood there awaiting the impending attack. With each passing moment Petey grew angier and angier until finally he cried out, tossing another dagger aimed at Dimitri's head. Once more Dimitri caught it. "Have we not established that will not work against me?" he asked as he laid the silver blade down on the end of the railing next to him. "GET 'IM!!" Petey cried rushing forward with a new found sword in his hands. However, after a few paces the bull stopped and turned to see why his men hadn't followed his lead. A clanking sound echoed throughout the parlor as his sword fell to the ground. Petey stepped back as he watched his men dangle in the air from brown roots that had emerged from the nearby ploted plants. As some screams were given voice, Dimtri took out a seed from his shirt pocket and let it sit in his hand; it slowly cracked, revealing a small vine that continued to grow out. "It is my ship, sir. Goodbye." without another word Dimitri willed the growing plant in his hands to whip Petey out the door. The burly man flew into and then through the door of the hotel, landing with a soft thud onto the streets outside. After that Dimitri sent the other five men out as well, he smiled lightly as they all landed on each other in a pile outside the hotel. As everyone else around stared at the withering vines, Dimitri left the building and walked towards the shore where the old ship has washed up.

Misty walked through the town's streets, but gradually found her energy and strength slipping away, and began to wander towards the coast. As she got closer to the ocean, her strength began to return.
I need to stay closer to the water from now on... Misty thought. She dove into the shimmering ocean. Before she hit the water, a shimmer ran down her legs, which transformed into a long, silver fin. The moment she touched the water, a small circle around her became as clear as glass. Misty swam towards the docks. As she neared the wrecked ship, she heard a sound that sounded like a body being flung against a wall. She quickly surfaced and flipped out of the water, landing on the pier, her fin having changed back into her legs. She noticed some men laying on the street. Looking back at the hotel, she noticed a few withered vines hanging out the door. She walked over to the vines and looked around. Seeing no one, she walked towards the wreck.

Groggy-headed, Tsubaki groaned as she awoke with a bruising hangover. She stumbled out of the warm, comfortable bed.
'I better find something to get rid of this headache or there's going to be one grumpy, disorientated navigator," she thought to herself. Tsubaki walked out the door in a not-so-straight line, and when she tried to find the first step of the stairs down, she slipped and tumbled down the aforementioned stairs. Along the way of her painfully exciting journey, Tsubaki bowled over the red-haired cook who gave a shout of protest.

As Misty neared the partially submerged wreck of their old ship, she noticed a man about twice her age standing beside the ship. Instantly she recognized him and began to back away. Without turning the man flicked his wrist and a golden knife pierced her neck. She reached up and took the knife. Clear water dripped from the hole in her neck.
"I know normal knives won't affect you, Misty." The man turned to face her. "But I know something that will." He reached into his pocket and pulled out an object that looked somewhat like a small flashlight. A small dial was on the side.
"What is that?" asked Misty.
"A knife with three blades. One blade is electrically charged with 1200 volts. Another is superheated to over 5000 degrees. And the third is chilled to within a few degrees of absolute zero."
Misty took another step back.
"You're running? How unlike you." The man's face showed no emotion. He began walking toward Misty, who continued to back away. She moved her wrist and a stream of water slid out of the ocean and wrapped around the handle of the golden knife on the beach. The water picked up the knife and moved towards the man.It lashed the blade towrds him, but the man easily blocked it. He then continued to walk forward, slicing the golden blade in half as he walked past it. The stream of water formed itself into a sword. Misty mover her hand slightly and the liquid sword became ice. The frozen blade flew at the man, who dodged it easily. As he ducked, he brought his own knife upward, shattering the ice. He then continued his walk toward Misty. Misty stopped moving. The ice that had fallen silently rose into the air. The thousands of sharp crystals of ice turned towards the man. They rushed at him and buried themselves in his back. The man's face still showed no emotion as the shards of ice continued through out the other side of his body. He dropped his three-bladed switchblade into his pocket and took the bow from his back. He took an arrow from the quiver that was also on his back and nocked it. He drew the arrow back and Misty saw the metal arrowhead crackle. Sparks jumped around the arrowhead as the man let go. THe charged arrow left a glowing trail as it arced towards the place whaere Misty stood. A fraction of a second before it hit her, she moved to the side. A cloud condensed above the man's head, unknown to him. As he drew another electric arrow, the spark jumped to the cloud. A bolt of lightning dropped from the cloud and struck the man's head. Smoke came from his body as he fell to the ground.

The man was slowly raising, while Misty gathered a large amount of water for another attack. At the wave a her hands, the water streaked towards the stranger ready to crush him with pressure. Misty's opponent stood there and slowly raised his long-ranged weapon which crackled in the moist air. Realizing too late that an electric shock will pass through the water and to her, Misty watched in horror as the man's electrically charged arrow rushed towards her through the water, bringing death with it.
Suddenly, a force yanked her up into the air and threw her into the sand, far beyond the reach of the electrical current. Her opponent felt the full force of the water and the electrical shock from his own attack. He was blown back and landed with a soft thud as the lightening continued to crackle around his still body.
Misty looked down at her leg and saw a small withering vine had wrapped itself around her ankle and saved her. Just then Dimitri came skidding up next to her, "Are you alright, miss Misty?" he asked gently, kneeling next to her. However, Misty didn't answer him. Instead she sat wide-eyed with fear as her opponent stood up once more, securing his bow to his back.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dimitri stood up in shock as the stranger rose to his feet, not showing any sign of injury despite being struck by lightening not once, but twice. Calming himself, Dimtri asked his shaking captain who the man was. "L-L-Lazarus..." she stammered. Dimitri looked down at her, he had never seen her like this before, he removed his jacket and gently placed it on Misty's shoulder's. Returning his gaze towards Lazarous and discovered him standing brushing the wet sand off of him as best he could, then he casualy walked towards them. Dimitri stood up and walked to meet this man who's power planted fear within his captian. Within seconds they were standing in each other's paths, the space between them a mere 10 paces. "Move." he ordered. Dimtri didn't answer nor did he move. The man's dark eyes narrowed to slits. "Move." he repeated. Still Dimitri held his ground. Lazarus frowned at the other man's defiance.
Quick as lightening, a golden object was thrown towards Dimitri.
"It would seem people love tossing their toys at me." Dimitri said as he could a projectile by the blade once more. The thrower raised his eyebrows in slight surprise. "That's the second time someone has thrown a knife at me this morning." Dimitri continued. He flicked his wrist to side and the golden blade flew into the water where it was quickly engulfed by the ravenous waves.
Lazarus moved forward. As he did, Dimitri noted the two golden blades from under his trenchcoat. The knives where identical to the one he had just thrown. They were double-bladed, with the golden blades that gleamed in the morning sun, lusting after blood. Dimitri's blood. When he was a few inchs from Dimitri, Lazarus suddenly lashed out like a snake stricking at its prey. Shifting his weight towards the beach, Dimitri barely dodged the incoming attack. Without waiting for Lazarus's next move, Dimitri spun around and his leg lashed out, searching for his opponent's liver but it never struck. Lazarus had jumped back and his knives where now cutting the air making their way towards Dimitri who dropped to his knees. The projectiles sailed past the man's head and joined their brethren landing in the water's embrace.
Sand moved next to Lazarus as two seeds were embedded into the dirt, courtesy of Dimitri. Two huge vines sprang out of the ground and attacked the man standing under them. Lazarus pulled another pair of knives and began defending himself against the vines. With lightening speed, he cut them to ribbons moving his body to avoid being struck in return. But as soon as he cut them down, they would grow back again, attacking him anew. Dimitri tossed four more seeds into the sand, then he raced forward to assist his creations, throwing kicks and punches he had learned during his time with the marines. The battle quickly became a strange dance with three main participants. Dimitri weaved his body in sequence with his vines, dodging Lazarus's attacks while returning a few of his own. Lazarus hacking away at Dimitri's allies, all the while trying to avoid the whips that were the vines and Dimitri's quick and powerful punches and kicks. Within a few moments, Lazarus was overwhelmed. Dimitri's punch caught him in face and then several of the vines whipped across his face while the other last one suddenly wrapped itself around the stunned Lazarus's body. Hoisting the man into the air, the weapons' were freed of their master's grasp and fell to the sand. Dimitri bent down to pick them up when the sound of something ripping rippled through his ears. He rolled off to the side just as Lazarus came slamming down on to the beach. "Not a single bruish or cut..." Dimitri wisphered.

Lazarus was on his feet in a few seconds, with two more of his golden knives in his hands. He walked slowly towards Dimitri. Dimitri threw a seed, but before it could sprout, Lazarus had thrown a knife through it, slicing it in half. Misty looked at the wrecked ship. She silently condensed the moisture in the air to dampen a part of the ship's side. She turned her hand and the water froze, snapping the piece of the ship off. A quick jet of water sent the falling wood toward Lazarus's head. The man heard the wood coming and threw a roundhouse kick at it. The wood splinteres, and pieces of frozen wood rained down on the three combatants. Misty quickly arced her arm and a bubble of water came over she and Dimitri. The sharp wood struck Lazarus. The man's face still showed no emotion, but instead he walked towards Misty and Dimitri. He drew his elemental switchblade and flicked open the electrically charged blade. He touched the bubble with it, sending a bright flash of lightning through the bubble. Sparks danced around the bubble as it burst, creating small craters in the sand where they hit. Misty ducked behind Dimitri, who planted a seed and formed a canopy of vines. Lazarus began to walk toward them, getting struck by numerous sparks. The sparks soon died out and Dimitri turned the canopy into lashing weapons. Lazarus flicked open the heated blade of his weapon and slashed at the vines. The vines caught fire, creating a wall of fire between Lazarus and his opponents. Lazarus again walked forward, not paying attention to the fire. He reached the other side and found nobody. Surprised, but not showing it, he turned around, too late. A ball of ice smashed into his face. The ice shattered. Lazarus stood still and didnt sho any pain. He put away his weapon and pulled out his bow. He nocked an arrow with a flaming tip. He aimed through the fire in the direction from which the iceball had come, then released the arrow. The flaming arrow streaked through the fire. Dimitri noticed the arrow coming and bent back, barely dodging it. The fire caught the pocket of Dimitri's shirt. He ripped off the flaming shirt and quickly threw the burning shirt into the sea. The seeds in the shirt pocket exploded with the sudden change in temperature. Dimitri glared at the silhouette behind the wall of flame as Lazarus walked back through the fire. Before he was through, a massive blast of water hit him in the back, dousing the flames and dripping off of the man's waterproofed trenchcoat. He turned again but was met with a large piece of ice. The ice cracked as it smashed into the man's forehead. Misty watched as the ice fell away, revealing a sizzling arrow flying towards her. She quickly twisted away from it. Lazarus heard a noise from behind him and ducked as Dimitri's fist sailed over his head. Lazarus brought his leg back and up into Dimitri's stomach, knocking him back several yards. Lazarus then walked towards Dimitri and threw a rapid volley of punches and kicks at him. Dimitri parried all of these and lashed out with a rapier, catching Lazarus in the chest. Lazarus continued fighting without slowing, even with a deep gash across his chest. Lazarus then rolled to the side and kicked at Dimitri's head. Dimitri dodged this and tried to cut Lazarus's foot. Lazarus pulled back his foot quickly. A waterfall fell from above Lazarus as Misty released a large volume of water. Lazarus jumped back, avoiding the falling water. Misty moved the waer into a sphere around Lazarus's head and condensed it. Unable to breathe, Lazarus drew his bow and fired a frozen arrow at Dimitri, who moved to avoid it. Lazarus quickly fired three electric arrows at Misty. Misty released her hold on the water to dodge the arrows. Without flinching, Lazarus drew his elemental knife and flicked its frosted blade out. He ran towards Dimitri, dragging the blade through the wet sand. The sand froze and expanded, freezing Dimitri's foot to the sand. Lazarus put away the weapon and walked towards Misty once more...

Dimitri hacked away at his icy prison with his rapier as his opponent turned his back on him and moved towards his captain. Misty took a step back so her feet was in the water that licked at the sandy beach. As Lazarus moved forward, Misty moved her arms in a pattern, raising the many waves together to form a one large one. At her behest, the wave surged forward crashing into the ever calm man as he stopped walking. Dimitri managed to get the last of the ice off his foot as the water swallowed Lazarus whole. To his surprise, the man was still standing in the same spot unmoved. Unharmed except for his wound on the chest though it didn't seem to pain him at all. His face straight as it has ever been, Lazarus calmly pulled his bow from his back and knocked an arrow. Knowing the arrow would be electrified, Dimitri called upon the powers of his devil fruit, pulling leaves off the tree nearby he sent them flying just as Lazarus let his arrow loose. The leaves, hardened by Dimitri's will, struck the projectile in mid-air after plowing through its owner's body. Misty and Dimitri watched their foe carefully as he staggered forward from the power of the leaves bursting into and out of his earthly vessel. Dimitri expected him to faulter. He expected him to die. However, he did neither. Instead he turned his unwavering gaze back towards Dimitri. Before he could attack with another arrow however, Misty wrapped more water around him only this time, rather than wrapping it around his head, she covered his entire body so that he floated in the middle of a giant watery prison. Dimitri commanded more leaves to rush forward as Lazarus calmly floated in liquid. On their commander's order, the leaves through the man's arms and legs, though they did not severe them. They also left numerous gashes and cuts all over their target's body causing the peaceful blue waters to turn into an ominous crimson liquid.
After the last leaf pierced the wall of the orb, Misty released the imprisoned man. The crewmates stood there panting from exhaustion as Lazarus's beaten body fell to the sand with a thud. i...impossible! Dimitri thought astounded. There. Before his eyes, Lazarus rose. Slowly and calmly. Showing no signs of pain. Showin no signs of fatigue. His injuries testifing to the pain he should be feeling by oozing out more and more blood with each movement.
Misty's cry shook Dimitri out of his stupor. He shifted his gaze to her to find her using the water under her command as a lasso. Roping the seemingly unstopable foe she tossed him into the blue sea where the merciless tides dragged him underwater. Then Misty ran towards Dimtri, "He's not beat, comon." she explained, grasping his wrist she ran heading towards the town. Then the waters parted as the bow of their old ship rose from the depths of the sea and under it, Lazarus. He dropped his potential boulder and unsheathed his special knife once more, with a flick of the wrist the ice blade showed its face again. He tossed the knife into the ground infront of the nakama and before they could react the lower half of their body was encased in solid ice. Satisfied, Lazarus hefted the heavy wood once more onto his shoulders. Slowly he stepped forward, poised to end the fight with a single crushing blow. As a realization dawned on him, Dimtri released himself from his superior's grasp and looked around. There a little ways away where the six original vines he had planted early on in the fight. Demitri's hand waved at them and they began to dance coming to life once more. With another gesture, the vines whiped across the sands of the beach but fell short of wrapping themselves around it. It was too short and Dimitri no longer had the energy to grow them. Staying calm, Dimitri instead opted to cut it and commanded the whips to attack the bow. Lazarus seemed not to notice as he took another step forward. Again and again the vines choped at the thing, taking out chuncks of the bow. Still Lazarus persisted in his march, even as the wood parts began to rain down on his head, causing water to splash up in great heights all around him. Misty freed them both with her powers and as Lazarus advanced with his head hung down, they both began to retreat slowly. Still the vines whiped away until finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the bow collapsed in two. The sand and water mixed together in mid air as the top part of the bow fell down on its carrier. When the air cleared, the captain and the first mate could see that their opponent had finally been beaten...

ic: Dimitri broke off from Misty to walk around town, agreeing to meet her and the rest of the crew at the inn later that night. He walked casually and slowly down the dusty streets under the late morning sun, trying to relax after the intense battle.
Shortly into his walk he heard screaming. Worried about his nakama, Dimitri began to run towards the source of the noise. After a little while he ran across a resturant with a disgruntled and scared looking waiter standing just outside his door staring after a large man. Dimitri sighed when he recognized the large figure to be his crewmate, Marlin.
"Excuse me," he greeted, "What has happened here?"
The waiter turned towards his addresser wide-eyed and pointing after Dimitri's nakama, "Did you see that? That guy at all my food and won't pay for it! I have a wife and three kids! What am I suppose to do now? They'll starve if I don't get paid!" the troubled man broke down into tears. Dimitri let out another sigh and looked inside the store. On the table were what seemed like a several hundred bowls and plates, all dirty with grease and crumbs left from the food it once held.
Dimitri quietly slipped past the weeping man and examined a nearby menu then quickly added up the cost of what the meal should have been. After he finished, Dimitri took out his wallet and pulled the necessary money out. Then he walked back to the man and placed it in his wet hand. As the man stood stammering, staring at the money Dimitri moved away from the building wordlessly in search of Marlin.

Moments before the drunken Tsubaki came slipping and sliding down the stairs, Annie had been staring at a wall, deep in thought. A person had noticed Annie simply staring at said wall, with one hand on her hip and the other holding her parasol loosely by her side. The person wondered if Annie was alright by the blank expression on her face, and he had tapped her shoulder to find out. Annie made no movement after being tapped by him; she looked as if she were in a daze. The man decided to tap again, getting the same reaction. He tapped her once more, this time with more force to get her attention, and Annie jumped back with a yelp. "WHAT IS IT?!" She lifted her hand with the parasol up, ready to give a thwapping.
The man had jumped back as well, eyes widened and hands in the air. He hadn't expected that. "U-Um, Miss, are you alright? I saw you staring at the wall and tapped you to get your attention.."
"Oh..." Annie muttered, lowering the parasol and nodding her head. With a smile, she added in her usual happy-go-lucky tone, "I'm fine, thank you. I just.. thought a thought."
"Oh, well, that's ni--"
"But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought.."
"Um, okay, bu--"
"If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much, right?"
"Um... What?!"
"Hey, you're right! Thanks for your help!" Annie had said with a light curtsy before heading over to the stairs, leaving the man behind her confounded.
That's when Tsubaki had bumped into Annie, causing her to fall to the ground, even though there really wasn't need to. "Oof--Oh, hey Tsubaki!" The shout of protest had came after Annie had stood back up and realized why Tsubaki had randomly appeared. "TSUBAKI! You need to stop that drinking! S. T. O. P. It's bad for you, you know. And plus, it smells bad." She nodded her head in agreement with herself, offering a hand to the drunken girl to help her up, still explaining. "I think you should drink at least half as much as you do now to start, and then eventually you'll not want as much, and you will stop completely! And then the world will be a better place!" She clapped her hands together and grinned happily, thinking that this plan was her most brilliant one ever.

Dazed, Tsubaki just sat obediently as Annie lectured her on the evils of alcohol, whilst nodding her head vigorously. Unfortunately, the rapid shaking caused Tsubaki's hangover to be worse and she almost fell over. She caught herself sloppily, but wound up slipping anyways. With a weakish voice and wide innocent eyes, she asked,
"Annie, do you know of anything that would take away the ouchie from my brain? And the purple and pink penguins dancing around my head?"

Annie stood Tsubaki upright the best she could, keeping her hands on her shoulders for a minute to keep her steady. She stared at Tsubaki's wide innocent eyes as she spoke to her, and merely hugged her gently. "Aw, poor poor Tsubaki. See what drinking does to your brain? It's like..." She put her parasol down by her feet and started making her hand "talk" as she talked. "Roar, I'm alcohol. I make you hurt!" She hit her other hand with the "alcohol" hand, using the other one to "talk" now. "Owch! I'm a poor brain getting hurt by mean icky alcohol! Wah. The End!" She picked her parasol back up, then searched with her other hand in her pockets, taking out a small bottle. She popped out two small pills and handed them to Tsubaki. "These will help a little with the hurting. As for the penguins.. If you can't beat them, join them. Dance around with them! Penguins are cute." She grinned from ear to ear from her "great" advice.

"But medicines are icky~!" Tsubaki whined piteously. However, it was a battle between hangover and icky medicine. The medicine won. Making a face, she dramatically swallowed the pills, and began to roll over from the ickiness.
"Wah~! Why is the happy medicine yucky!"
"But what about the penguins," Annie inquired.
"Ah yes, let's do the penguin dance!"

His hand shaded his eyes as Dimitri made his way towards the docks. He had decided not to woiry too much about Marlin at the moment knowing he would see him again on the ship when they left Crystal Island behind. After reaching the docks, Dimitri turned to the new ship. It was a medium sized vessel, simple in design and no real disguishing features. Well, the ladies will change that. Dimitri thought smiling to himself. He made his way on the board the wooden ship and began to load the supplies as well as making sure everything was in place for their trip into the blue sea.

Annie and Tsubaki continued dancing like penguins would, or at least the pink and purple penguins in Tsubaki's head were, when Marlin approached. Annie proceeded to make the best penguin noises she could conjure up, which was somewhat of a loud quacking/sqwuaking noise that was a tad.. Annoying, if you were anyone but Annie and Tsubaki. She waddled around, hopping up and down every now and then. Suddenly, she got slightly carried away and bumped into Tsubaki who then bumped into Marlin. Dancing for a few more seconds, Annie realized she didn't have her dancing partner anymore. "Tsubaki?" She blinked, looking around.
Before spotting Tsubaki, she saw Marlin. "Oh, hi hi Marlin!" Grinning after greeting him, she remembered Tsubaki. Her jaw dropped. "MARLIN! B-but.. Tsubaki and I were dancing the penguin dance, and then suddenly poof and-- How'd you do that?!" She had somehow managed to believe that Tsubaki had turned into Marlin. She whimpered some, confused.

In the meanwhile, Tsubaki, who had bumped into Marlin, had been frightened by said former sumo wrestler and ran as her inner penguin would allow her to. However, Tsubaki noticed that Annie was no longer with her and with a squack, she dashed down the street to headbut Marlin. Unfortunately, due to Marlin's ... impressive ... bulk, she only received another headache that replaced the hangover she had just gotten rid of. With a pout, Tsubaki started to rant at Marlin.
"Marlin, you big, fat meanie head! You gave me another owie-ow!" Hearing whimpers, she turned to Annie and saw Annie's sad face. "See, you made Annie sad! You should say sorry right now and ..." Bystanders passed by the scene feeling extremely sorry for the big man.

ooc: sorry, i was gone for the weekend, if anyone was wondering why i wasnt posting...
ic: Concerned about why Lazarus was after her, Misty decided to find out. She walked towards the sea and, once at the shoreline, she raised her hand and spoke a short sentence in an ancient language. A few seconds later, a dolphin rose to the surface and chirped (or whatever sound dolphins make
). Misty spoke to the solphin in the ancient language and the dolphin responded in its own language. After a couple of minutes, Misty nodded and the dolphin left. Worried about something, she ran to find the crew.

ooc: ok the captain told me to kill Pirate King's X charcter off so i am. Pirate King if it turns out u can come back to us then u can say X somhow survived, *ill make it so u can do that* or u can just a make a whole new character entirely up to u. and on another note entirely, we are leaving the island now...so..here goes...
o and my post seems like dimitri's the only one who wants to get X because i dont no what the others wil do and dimitri's kinda focused on x so i cant have the narrator say wat the others did cept the captain and tsubaki obviously.
ic: After Dimitri had managed to retrieve all the good washed up on shore from the wreck and dropped them off at their respective owners' rooms, he quickly walked around town gathering his nakama on to the ship. The crew was slowly boarded the ship and Dimitri walked around the ship making certain it was prepared for the voyage. Suddenly the alarm sounded througout the deck and the ship was pushed away from the dock. Dimitri ran for the port side of the ship and saw that Lazarus had returned for another round, standing in his path however was X. Realizing what had happened Dimitri tried to rush off the boat to help the good doctor but Misty grabed his arm and pulled him back as red X's from the doctor's palms streaked towards the Lazarus and the pier shook with a small explosion. Dimitri tore his arm away from his captain even as Tsubaki steered the boat away from the pier and prepared to jump after X who was now dodging the knives in Lazarus's hands. The ship was too gettin to be too far from the pier for Dimitri to jump and he prepared to go throw seed from his new shirt but a wave of water stopped him.
Sputtering, Dimitri turned to the only person who could've summoned the water, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"
Misty didn't answer, she simply watched her doctor's weapons caused yet another explosion. She watched as the two combatants disappear from view...

Dimitri rose, wet and angry, he knew why he just wished he could've done something. Without a word Dimitri walked to his room, hands in his soaked pockets, head hung low.
When he arrived, he closed the door behind him as he entered his new quarters. Slowly he removed is jacket and layed it down on his bed then he slowly sat down next to it. He Leaned forward, arms supporting his now heavy body on his knees, his head still hung down. The only sound in the room was the soft drippin noise from the water on his hair slowly gatherin at the tips and finally falling to the wooden floor. I couldn't save him either. he thought disparingly. I'm still as weak as I was then...
