and Brook, badass as ever.

But... will Sanji be able to love Nami now that... she looks like... Franky... ?

Was discussing things with one of my buddies and we came to the conclusion that the "master" might be Magellen (spelling? the ex-warden of Impel Down) and I gotta say, I've got nothing that can disprove it at this point and instead have some evidence for it to be true.

1) The master is a liquid or a gas (probably a gas, but I can't say for sure) Magellen has been in a liquidish form, and is constantly spewing poison gas. Over 2 years, his powers could very well have developed.

2) Everyone below him is wearing gas masks and using gas weapons. It's clear the island itself isn't poisoned. For all we know, the gas they use in their weapons could be produced by Magellen.

3) As mentioned in my previous post, all of the frozen bodies in the last chapter were wearing prisoner outfits, so that's a possible connection right there.


If it does end up being true, I'm a little disappointed solely because we may not have a new villain in this arc, which is a shame as Oda always comes up with some good villains.

My guess is the things we saw weren't their actual hearts that are used to pump blood all over their bodies but instead were what japanese language would describe as "kokoro".

There's always the chance that Magellan died and his ability became accesible again, or it was stolen by someone.

I also thought about Magellan before, and I think the cover for this chapter (Hannyabal as the new warden) supports a bit this theory...we'll see what happens next

Because Law's room only has a limited range, he can only move things within the bubble.

That's a good point, but Hannyabal being in the cover makes me think of Magellan as the gaseous boss...

THAT was a damn good chapter, did not expect that outcome in the fight.  And it looks like the strawhats have undated wanted posters now, still can't see Sanji's face, but Usopp's is no longer behind the mask though I couldn't tell if it said Sogeking still.

That interaction on crococentaur's body was funny too.  You're right Brook, it's really all about feeling.

I forgot to say that although I think it's been like this for a while the lines Oda drew in this chapter seemed incredibly thick when Smoker and Law were fighting.  Kinda gave it a nice intensity... I dunno.
