Yes, there was. Didn't you read the notice at the end of last week's chapter?
Long story short, there's no chapter this week.
Last page I saw.

Cripes that sucks. The one on Manga Stream said it already, probably because they include the table of contents which informs of such things. Bad thing to find out late.

No worries WinCH, I've been saying that for years (literally since we first saw Law and his symbol).

Looking at the silhouette again...I don't think it is Doflamingo, haa - unless he's had a major design change during the design skip. I really think it's Vegapunk, but Joker would makes sense too (maybe Joker is actually working with/under Doflamingo? The latter seems to have connections everywhere!). Will have to wait and find out, IF it's revealed next week anyway.

Haa, I know right, I'm the same? I was looking at wiki though and it might not be something so deep; seems that it's a trend from North Blue natives to use a smiley in their jolly rogers...however, we haven't seen enough jolly rogers of other North Blue pirates to come to such a conclusion.
From what I recall, only Bellamy, Law and of course Doflamingo use the smiley - and we know Bellamy and Doflamingo were linked, so who's to say Law and Doflamingo weren't linked at one point? Or maybe they're all splinters from a bigger group or something?
edit: What if Joker is Vegapunk? He could be using 'Joker' as an alias to keep the truth that he's actually Vegapunk from Caesar..

Actually, Bellamy was using Doflamingo's smiley, so I'm not sure that counts. Also, you forgot about Kid. I think the Smileys are just a sort of rebellion from the traditional idea of piracy. Kid, Law, and Doflamingo all have a very punkish attitude towards things. But who knows, the Smileys could be a signal of something deeper.
edit: According to the OP Wiki, Bellamy had his own Jolly Roger. For some reason, he decided to become Doflamingo's underling and flew his Smiley. And of course, this didn't work out so well for him.![]()

Ahh. Thanks for clearing that up; guess it can be easy for some of the facts to blur since there is so much to take in and remember in this universe, and over such a long period of time. I did know there was one more who used the smiley, and that must've been Kid.
It might be just a trend of the North Blue and nothing more, but as I said, I think there might be more to it. Regardless, I don't think Doflamingo is part of this of plotline or atleast isn't the guy that stands before Law.

Akainu is the kind of guy to trick people into accomplishing 'his justice' though; remember Squardo? Akainu deceived Squardo into betraying Whitebeard, so there is potential for Akainu to do something, maybe not this, but he's definitely not so straight forward.
That one was part of Sengoku's strategy to put WB pirates into disarray.

Yeah, when I think of Akainu, I think of Ohara, when he murdered a ship full of innocent people (and probably marines) on the off-chance that there was a criminal stow-away on board.
That's no compromise.
'Course, might still be wrong, it's Oda's story, but Akainu just seems to be a straight-forward, hard-ass, "shoot first, ask questions later" kinda guy.
Anyway, screw this. It's MJ, it's a well-established fact.... Or Sanji's dad (I like that one
).

Okay, time to place your final bets. I'm putting my money on Kaidou. Law has stated there is something there that can take down one of the Yonkou, so the Yonkou have a vested interest in claiming it. And it can't be Big Mum since she wouldn't fit in this corridor. This would also explain why Law wants to take on a Yonkou, since the figure says he knows Law personally.

Boom.

@the_laughing_fool wouldn't that (to actually do the most obvious
) be what we least expect?
And you doubted him (joking). Oda's thrown another nut into the mix. And I think that's a piece of grilled salmon on his cheek.
Also...

It may just have to do with the fact that it's a gelatinous blob, so getting wet would probably dissolve it. I'm guessing the Samurai is going to instrumental in defeating this blob. We've been leading up to him becoming complete for way too long.
@the_laughing_fool do you think his ability will come in handy? or just as an information source?
I'm not really sure. His ability might be what makes him valuable to this arc (after all, we've barely seen him use it, and he can't use it until his body is fished out). He could have vital information about this creature (which seems the least likely as why would he know about something Caesar's own men didn't know about). Or it could be that there's something in his fighting style that makes him able to repel it (which is what I'm betting on; sure, he lost to Law, but he still has to be good to have made it this far). But with the situation at hand, the samurai has some role to play in this. The blob is slowly crossing the lake where the samurai's torso is sunk. Something has to happen in this.

Hey now, I'm not wrong yet. I did say it may not be the exact person, but at least affiliated with one of the people I mentioned. I still have a chance.

We all were wrong about the mystery character

Ceasar probably used a Knockout Gas. Only time will tell what kind of ability Virgo is using.

Dammit, if that's what Oda is going for then that's just one step too damn far... but whatever. That man loves his puns like a fat man loves his pudding.

Ah, out of curiosity. Is there any other One Piece character that we know of with an astrology related name?

Maybe Virgo is actually his code name than an actual name and may have other colleagues of the same organization we don't know yet.

That can't be the case. He has a trimmed beard under whatever that thing on his cheek is.
Also, did anyone notice that the cross hatching on that thing is the same as on his coat?
