John, clean out your inbox or read Shichibukai's meta.

And stats and forum RPs don't really work unless you're solely trying to explain their powers on a scale of 1-10 or something. They can't decide who would win a written out fight. As John said, they're just good for dice-based IM RPs.

Crimson is already in several of these, and if you want to see true writing skill, I'd step up to the challenge. The problem is the Shichibukai crew would pwnzor any or the other crews. We have at least three certifiables onboard.

If we are going to do battle we would first need to agree that all characters are somewhat equal. Of course characters are usually better in what they specialize in but there is no need for battles that are won before they start.
In this case even if characters are way more power then those of an other RP in the posts the supposedly weaker characters will still be able to keep up with the stronger ones. Writing new characters eliminates this problem all together.

I wouldn't mind providing some well written losses. I don't care about winning, but it would be fun to interact with other characters. Which of mine would I put up, and at their current state, earlier, or later?

It's intriguing.

If someone did make this (Myself included) I would write up a totaly new character. I don't think our current pirates fit in an arena that well.

If I was running it, I'd force you all to write up new characters (I'm sorry but that's what I think is the best option. You could modify a character, like Vincent, or you could make an older/younger version of one of your other characters, or you could just make a new one.)

You would ahve to put the charecters into this thread, or we could get....who ever started this thread to post them all in the first post so we can always look to it if we can find anything for the battle, not using any weaknesses, of course. This could be fun!
