Kiara looked uncoinvinced that no one had been there, but stood up none the less.
She grabbed her red shirt and put it back on, with difficulty.
After she had, she turned around and spoke to Lingshou.
"I'm done,"
Her voice trailed away, as she heard with her special hearing several boots clomping in the mud heading this way.
She listened more closley to hear who was coiming, and the truth hit her like a hurricane.
The marines were on their way.
A look of uter horror crossed her face as she grabbed her black cloak quickly putting the hood on.
Suddenly the door burst open, marines parading in, along with a sinister looking woman.
Kiara remembered her face in one of the windows.
She just pulled the cloak tightly around her glancing to Lingshou for help.
He stepped in front of her, an innocent look on his face.
"What are you dong here? Im just a poor doctor. Nothing to hide."
The marine narrowed his eyesat him and glanced behind the man.
His expression grew happier as he saw the slight bit of tail sticking out of her cloak.
"Oh really, we will just see about that!"
He shoved Lingshou to the floor and grabbed Kiara's throat, hoisting her into the air.
Kiara's eyes showed no fear, even as his hand grew tighter and she couldnt breath.
Her hand reached up, to his hand to perhaps pull it off, but it was a feeble attempt.
He turned his head back to his comrads an evil smile in place.
"So, how should this one be tortured huh?"

"Shit!" Said Spike. He ripped off his left sleeve revealing a gauntlet. A Small Blade came out the tip of it.
"Shit! My quiver is in my bag!" Thought Spike franticly.
"Well well, another enemy?" Said one Marine, "Attack!" He said as the three marine lunged forwards. Spike used his gauntlet to block some, each time, a sharp pain hitting his arm, and he dogdged some.
"Perfect! It's my bag!" He thought as he stood beside the doorway to his room.
He lunged in and got his bag and took out his quiver. The bow attached the gauntlet sprang open and he shot three arrows. Each hitting one marine. Each one shouting in pain.
"Allen! We have to help Lingshou and Kiara!" Said Spike.

"What? Morning already? No, it can't be. I guess I should start moving" Yubi thought to himself. He had just woken up after a quick nap from sundown to about now. Which was any where during the night. He got up of the under water sand. The seawater washed it off and cleaned his garments a little. Swimming upward, Yubi made for the direction opposite his previous island. Which was about...who knew? Yubi had lost his sense of direction a long time ago about a year after he had gotten a bounty. He knew only two directions now: to the marines and away from the marines. It was totally unfair.

Yubi had enncountered few fish. Ever. Most fish stayed clear of him. As a fishman, they knew that tangling with him was not a good idea. Which suited him fine as most humans were just as afraid as the fish. The fishermen would sell them to him and he would eat/cook them. He paid when he could, but being wanted piracy was the only way to make money without risking your life. Which was unfair. Although if it was only from other pirates it is in a way fair. Yubi couldn't worry about morals though, he had to worry about marines. What if they were on the next island? He would be pretty trapped.

It was a while before he came to an island. Although he was faster underwater, he couldn't go too fast or he wouldn't have enough energy for the whole trip. Luckily, he was a fishman and thus, he didn't need to go up to the surface to take a breath. He had fine gills and lungs which got enough practice to keep them both in top shape. After a while though, he spotted an island. As long as he kept the island in sight, he could go and fish. He looked around but spotted no fish. Instead he had spotted a small squid. He could just eat it now.

Crunch the squid went as Yubi began to eat it soon after catching it. It wasn't too fast and so it was no trouble for Yubi. He decided to just sit. He checked to make sure there was no sting ray before sitting on the ocean floor, eating a nice red squid. If the marines caught up, so what? He needed to eat and now was the time to eat.

Kiara felt weak, and being thrown across the room made blood drip out of her mouth.
She kept up though, and pulled out a dagger herself slowly creeping behind the dude as he kept fighting Lingshou.
'1.......2............3!'
She grabbed his neck and poised the dagger ready to slit his throat.
"Hahah! Not so in charge now are ya!"
She glanced back though hearing one charge at her, and right when he was about to strike she threw him to the wall with her tail.
She stood there pondering whether to kill the dude whose throat was at her mercy or not.
Shhe chose yes and was about to do it when someone grabbed her wrist.

"Wow. That was better than what I expected. Could've done with being cooked but otherwise that was a great snack." Yubi said to himself surprised. He knew he had to actually get moving though and that the marines would probably still be looking for him, "Oh boy, I sure hope they didn't send a boat after me." Looking into the distance, Yubi didn't see anything on the water's surface at all. "Maybe they gave up?"

It didn't matter. He would just take off or fight them. Next, he kicked off and swam to the island. He thought that maybe this was 'god' being fair to him after all these years. "Naw." he dismissed the thought. He was getting closer to the island. No town looked to be nearby or anything though. "As long as I don't die, it doesn't matter, does it?" he pondered. It wasn't long before he got to the beach. "Where is everybody?"

The marine charged at Ling, an arrow stuck in his skull. His movement became sluggish, but went for one final blow at Ling.

Ling ducked to the left and cut a huge gap down the marines right side. The marine then fell, leaving a bloody puddle that never ceased to expand.

"Everyone out of the house" Ling said.

Ling grabbed the glass of black liquid, now thick without water. He made sure everyone was out side. Lingshou took out a match and dropped it into the liquid, and threw the glass into his shed. At once his shed silently burst into flames.

"We want no survivors. I don't want a bounty." Ling said, his burning shelter behind him.

"She is in no condition to be on her own!" said Lingshou.
"Calm down, I know how ya feel, but seriously, how could you forget her in the house?" Said Spike.

Allen not hearing the first part of the conversation started an evil glare towards Lingshou. "you did WHAT?!" Said Allen
"What?" Said Lingshou.
"You BURNED the house with her still inside?" Said Allen.
"Whoa whoa, dude I was jokin' she left" Said Spike.
"Alright, it would just be mroe trouble if we split up" Said Lingshou, "Why don't we group up, and try to find Kiara later, She's bound to show up sooner or latter"
"You're right, for now we should be thinking for ourselves" Said Spike, "But I still care for her"
"Yeah...we know" Said Allen.
"So whos got a boat?" Asked Lingshou.
All of them stared blankly at each other.
"Shit" They all said.

Allen had no idea who this mystery figure was, but he knew that it could possibly mean more trouble if they revealed what had happened. “Erm… of… course there are marines on this island”! said Allen nervously. The figure appeared to turn away, until Spike spoke. “Until we killed them all!” Allen smacked his hand to his face. “I suppose these two guys killed all the marines on the island, and then burned the building the corpses were in down. Happy now”? The figure approached from out of the rainy haze, revealing himself to be what looked like a giant fish in a robe. Allen’s jaw dropped. He strode up to the fishman and began to inspect his person for sippers. Several uncomfortable pokes to the stomach later, the large fishman spoke up. “I don’t really like being poked LIKE SOME ATTRACTION AT A FREAKSHOW”! Allen yelped and ran behind Lingshou. “Scary” he whispered. Calming down, the fishman said “I’m sorry about the yelling. Allow me to introduce myself, I’m…”

"Ling, doctor and poison expert. I dislike those who have, are hunting, or are in anyway associated with bounties."

Ling had seen too many odd creatures for one day. He had heard of the notorious fishman named Arlong, but he hated him, since he had a bounty. Come to think of it, 20 million was the same bounty Arlong had...
Ling ran his eyes across this fish thing named Yubi. Gills, webbed fingers, a strong build perfect for traversing the sea. These half animal things were starting to get to him.

"I don't have a bounty, and don't plan on ever getting one. If you have a bounty, you should leave. I don't want more trouble."

The rain started to clear now, the sun peeked from the mountainous horizon, and Ling's shed burnt as lively as ever.
Ling turned to Spike and Allen.
"We need to find Kiara. She has a high fever, and won't last long if she's left untreated."
Ling turned his back to he fishman and began to set off.

“Where the hell did that thing go?” Ling mumbled to himself, angrily.

Ling walked through the forest slashing everything in his way. He was tired of this unrealistic bullshit. He was tired of devil fruits, animal-human hybrids, bounties, and marines. He was tired of living his meaningless life. Yet he persisted in looking for that one poor girl who was about to die. “Stupid doctor’s instinct shit…” he cursed to himself. Why was this girl on this island anyway? It didn’t seem like the girl was from around here. Then again neither was Ling.

Lingshou had been living on this island for about two weeks now. Luckily he found a small abandoned shack to live in and settle down on. He ignored most of the populace and hadn’t bothered to ask where the hell he was. He hated marines, pirates, the government, people, just about anything. But he loved being a doctor. That is what keeps him alive, and that is why he cannot let Kiara die.

Ling stopped walking to lie down on the moist forest floor. He shut his eyes and successfully held back his tears.

The tall one gave another poke before further remarking, "Don't mind him, he's just a dumbass doctor. You wanna come with us? I’m sure we’ll have a bounty on our heads too, by the morning. Especially the doctor, I’m sure the marines know that he owns the shack, and when they find the burned, stabbed, and arrow riddled corpses of marines they’ll be after him in particular. Say, short guy, you wanna have the merman here tag along?"

"Merman....such ignorance Yubi thought as his eyebrow twitched,“ I truly resent that comment. I am a Ray type fishman from the grand line, and for your sake, I hope you never call me a merman EVER. AGAIN!" "So..." replied the human, "Mind if I call you Sushi?"

"Yes."

"Caviar?"

"Yes."

"Fishy Fishy?"

"Yes."

"How about..." the annoying man started thoughtfully but was cut short by a karate chop. Yui sighed as he hoisted the unconcious man onto his shoulder, "“No matter how much I dislike this one, I’d imagine we should take him with us. So, short one, where shall we go?”

"Wait. Why is he unconcious?"

"He was honestly annoying me, shall we follow the prejudice fellow and look for this 'Kiara' you three spoke of earlier? Or are we to head into town to look if you guys have any bounties?" Spike didn't know what to do but considering he took out Allen he could be a useful aid in getting Kiara, "Yeah, we should follow Lingshou."

Birds were chirping. Allen awoke in the early morning with a pounding a neck ache and bleary eyes. Fumbling around in the pre-dawn light, Allen managed to get to his feet. The scene before him surprised him. Around a burned out campfire lay Yubi, softly snoring, Spike, snoring like a hacksaw, and Lingshou passed out not 5 feet away from the fox lady, who appeared to be awake, and in a much better condition than last night. Allen, duplicating the background noise of the area, slipped out of the small hollow where the group was sleeping undetected       
   
Allen trekked through the wooded area out into the open, where he could better judge his position. Luckily enough, he had exited the woods at the edge of town. Memorizing the way he had come, he entered the town. It was quiet that early morning there was not a soul out on the streets. Allen made a point of heading to the local post office, he had performed in this town just last night, yet it seemed so long ago. After he arrived at the post office, he gave what little money he had left to the postmaster in exchange for a newspaper. Allen smiled ruefully. The front page news was that a fight had ensued on the edge of town in an abandoned shack, and had claimed the lives of the entire marine squad, save for a single boy. Citizens were to be on the lookout for a group of travelers that included a hag that looked like a fox, a ruthless killer who used knives to fight and could start fires with his mind, a short, obnoxious demon who had a bow magically stuck to his arm, and a black-hearted rogue who fought with cowardice and struck from behind, and who wore a vest as red as blood. Citizens were to be given a 10 million belli reward for the capture of any of these fiends.

Allen thoughtfully rustled through the newspaper to the comics section on the walk back to the camp. “I wonder just what this day will have in store for us?” wondered Allen. “Hopefully a great deal less marines than we had to deal with yesterday”. Unfortunately for Allen and the rest of his new friends, word had reached marine base # 201, known regionally as the fightin’ first. It was by far the largest within a 500 mile radius and served as a sort of headquarters for marines in the area. The captain in charge of the base was William “Shatterstone” Folsmar, a man who was to be feared indeed. He had the power of the devil, and he knew how to use it. Looking out from his office at the top of the base, the captain was talking to himself again. “So that fool Yosef was killed by the Fox-Spy Kiara and a group of “demons”...” mused the captain. “I never did like him. Oh well, he is no great loss to the marines. That spy, however, was the end of good fighting men. For that offense, I shall see that her and her group are captured, tried, and executed for what they have done. And some torturing would not be out of the question either”. Sneered the Captain. “Prepare my things,” he said to an attendant “Today we sail for the island of Linka to apprehend the Fox-Spy!”

After following the path of Lingshou, they found him with a fox-lady. Yubi knew she was probably already wanted considering the dead marine who had presumedly tried to catch her. Even though the doctor had been cold to him, he knew that the doctor would need help and would unhappily accept his. They set up a camp and while others set up a fire he found a stream and began to fish. After catching to much to carry he decided he'd prepare a special treat. While he cooked he talked to the doctor and the fox-lady.

"I know you may not trust me and may be in danger because of my bounty, but you should at least except this fish. I am a skilled cook and just because I wouldn't give marines a meal for free I got a small bounty. It has increased as I defend myself against the government and bounty hunters. If you get to know me you may learn to look past my fishy exterior and except my services. DINNER TIME!" Yubi had ripped appart some fish and using his pan and spatula, had cooked a beautiful mix of a few different types of fish. With some seaweed to hold it without burning yourself.

They soon went to sleep and Yubi had a good one but woke up and noticed Allen was gone, looked for him. It wasn't long before he found him. "It's a beautiful town, and today we'll go in to check the wanted posters." Allen gave him another poke. "I'll take that you still can't get over my appearance."
