"I'll take that you still can't get over my appearance." said the Fishman with tones of exasperation in his voice. “You know” said Allen, “I’m still not sure if you’re hiding your zippers under that robe of yours. At any rate, I’ve already been into town, seeing as I’m the most inconspicuous and all”. At this point, Allen’s clothing was caked with mud and blood, and his hair was a mess, his usually straight hair was going in more directions than could be counted. It was a lucky thing it had been dark enough that the postmaster hadn’t seen him clearly, otherwise, he surely would have been taken into custody at that very moment he had bought the paper. Keeping the comics section in hand, he gave the paper, as well as the bounties, to Yubi. “See”? said Allen “They’re on the lookout for us already, Especially Kiara and yourself. Speaking of which, it looks like our lady friend is up and awake".

"Hello Kiara" Said Allen waving at her. He didn't see her dagger.
Spike awoke to something moving silently beside him. It was...
"KIARA!" Said Spike as he kicked the dagger out of her hand, "Sorry, but he's a friend"
"Oh.." She said, "Uh.."
"We met him yestereday after you left the shed." Said SPike as he slowly pointed towards the small plate of fish by the burned out fire," Have some fish"
"Yes..." kiara said as she went over and picked up her dagger before she sat down and started eating the fish, still eyeing the fish man, she asked, "By any chance, are you...Yubi? I have seen your face on a wanted poster before"
"Yes, I am Yubi" He said walking over towards Kiara. By then Lingshou was up, and was fetching more water by the creek. WHen he came back he saw Yubi standing by Kiara.

"Hey.." the doctor started but immediately grabbed Allen's newspaper, "Oh no! This is the one thing I'd never in my life have imagined recieving."

"Let me see that!" Yubi took away the papaer from Lingshou, "So what, you each have a bounty of 10 000 000 for aiding a dangerous criminal and combating marines. That's no big deal. If we all stick together and look out for each other, we can avoid capture."

"Yeah, but how do we get off the island? None of us have a ship nor are any of us shipwrights," Allen remarked, " We're sitting ducks on this island."

"That is true. But maybe we can get enough money to buy a ship? I can sell food and Lingshou can offer his services. I'm not sure what you two can do though. By the way, I never caught either of your names earlier."

"Oooh! I'm Allen!" yelled Allen, with half of a fish sticking out of his mouth. "My specialties are Music, stealth combat, hunting, and being annoying." as he counted off each one on his fingers. "I suppose I'm glad to meet you, too". said Yubi in return.

Kiaras face scrunched up as she drank the vile liquid.
Staring up at him, she watched him walk off.
She got a concentrating look on her face as she knew why he was upset and understood that look moments ago.
Walking off silently, she jumped up in a tree and kept following him until she had enough of it and jumped down silently.
She glared at his back and started to speak.
"It's not my fault you know.
I told you guys not to help me and you did anyway.
If it's anyones fault its yours and Im sorry, but know this.
I will not let the marines harm you in anyway.
I will protect you guys no matter what, Ling.
Whether you hate me or not, we are stuck together and I meant the apology."
She stood there a couple seconds more, and seeing his unmoving back, she turned around and ran silently away, letting tears slip from her eyes, trailing behind her.

((OOC: Got a bit of inspiration but still had some writer's block. Sorry it's so short))

Yubi watched as Kiara and the doctor quarelled a bit before the fox-lady and Lingshou headed in opposite directions. From what he gathered, it was pretty fair. Lingshou had helped a criminal and so he got a bounty. Kiara was willing to take responsibillity for it and so that was fair too. Even though, he knew they had to stick together. Allen headed to the fox-lady and so he had to head to the doctor, "Spike, stay here please. We have to stick together. I'm going after Lingshou. When Allen and Kiara comeback, tell them I've gone after him. I'll make a trail of snapped branches along the way so that you can follow us."

Yubi headed after him, snapping every fifth branch or so until he caught up to Lingshou, when he started to snap every twig. "Doctor!" Yubi called as he came near, "Look, it doesn't matter that you have a bounty. Bounties get respect out of some people. Carrying your daggers, you were going to get one sooner or later. Maybe it can help you realize that just because someone has a bounty doesn't mean that they're bad..." Yubi trailed off. The poison-user and him had started off on the wrong foot, just because Lingshou had found out he had a bounty right away.

Spike looked over towards the ocean.
"Damn..." He said. "I'm gonna take a chance and do this!" He said as he shot an arrow at the marine ship.
"YOU IDIOT!" Shouted Lingshou, and started running.
"What's the big-" Interupted by a large explosion, Spike started running. "I THINK I HIT ONE OF THEM!" He said as eh ran after them.

((ooc: Sorry i was gone, i had to go out for a while))

The group was running through the woods into town, fleeing from the marines.

Where are we running to? Ling asked himself. The marines already knew what they all look like, so pretending to be a civilian would not help.
Ling spoke out loud. "Guys, where are we going?"
"Wheres Allen?" He heard Spike saying. The group stopped running and looked amongst themselves for the lost musician. Just then, Lingshou heard a faint buzzing noise from behind him. He turned around to see a large group of marines falling at Allen's feet. What the... Ling started. Alas Ling concluded that Allen must have also a devil fruit ability. Jeez... While Ling was pondering, Allen had been thrown into air and was now being dragged in their direction.

The marines who have fallen began to rise up and and advance towards the group. Many more marines appeared out from the beach. Lingshou hesitated. They couldn't win against so many marines. An arrow soared by Ling's ear and plunged into the neck of the marine holding Allen. Spike than rushed forward. "C'mon guys! We can't leave without him!" Ling hesitated again, but rushed forward along with Spike and Yubi. Kiara began to move, but stopped when Ling ordered, "Stay."

The fighting began. Ling pulled out his his green-bladed athame and jammed it into a man's chest. He immediately ran for Allen's body. He grabbed Allen's legs and began to run towards the center of the island, towards the town, but Allen was heavy. The weight of the body suddenly lifted as Ling turned to see Yubi helping him. "Thank you..." Ling muttered shamefully.

The marine captain then rushed towards them. "Run to the docks!" Ling cried out. They may be lucky enough to find a boat there they can use to escape. The group; Kiara, Spike, and Yubi and Lingshou carrying Allen's body, scurried to the docks. An angry mob of marines formed behind them.

"Get in!" Lingshou yelled.

Yubi jumped into the boat followed by Ling and the rest of the group. The boat wasn't very big, but was able to contain the party of 5 with some elbow room. The marines were gaining fast. One approached the boat before an arrow swiftly set its place into his neck. Four more were now making there way to the boat.
"Push off!" Ling cried out. The boat slowly began to move towards the vast ocean. The marines then boarded the other boats on the dock and started to chase the group. 4 boats now approached the pirates. Ling saw a boat close in from the side, trying to cut off their path. Two marines stood up and attempted to jump onto Ling's boat. As they flew through the air, one was knocked back due to the force of an arrow pushing into his chest and the other was flung away by Ling.

"Be right back guys." A voice said from behind Ling. Ling turned to see a splash of water made when Yubi dove into he water.
He ditched us... that bastard... Ling thought to himself. He then heard screaming coming from behind him. Ling turned around once more to see 3 small boats, full of marines, flipped over. That guy... Ling smirked. But not for long, since that was interrupted by Spike's shouting something, which in turn was interrupted by a cannon ball that shattered the main body of the boat.

Lingshou, Kiara, Spike, the now conscious Allen, were all floating pathetically on the water now. Yubi was nowhere to be seen. DAMN! They were all defenseless now, sitting ducks waiting to be captured. It took a while for them to recover from the sudden shock, but by that time a marine battleship had pulled up next to the group. Ling had given up, they couldn't escape now. He would probably be put into jail, or executed. Ling started think about which one option was worse, but shook his head. A rope ladder flopped its way down the side of the battleship.

Yubi's smiling face peered from the side.

Kiara just lay there not moving an inch, letting no emotion on her face as her hair masked it.
Apart from her bangs that were currently masking her face, her hair was sprawled out behind her, her shirt was wrinkled and slightly up revealing her stomach, and her head was too the side as if staring at the wall opposite to the cell door.
The broken arm of hers was poised towards the corner while her other was almost in an _| shape above her head.
Her breathing was almost invisible, but not because she was dying in any way, like how unfortunatly Spike thought.
Before realising her, Spike crawled and sat in a corner, sighing as he went along.
He propped his elbow upon his raised knee, and tucked the other leg beneath him, letting the other arm hang loosely to his side.
Now that he was semi - comfy, he glanced at Kiara, now noticing she was not moving.
His smooth voice echoed across the empty cell as he tested to see if she was alive.
"Kiara? You alive?"
When she did not reply, he sighed and a slightly panicked look flashed across his face.

Spike realised what was wrong when she whispered one single sentance. "The ship is going down, we are going to die," He realised she was listening to the things going on, above, and below. That is why she wasn't answering him before, why she wasnt moving, and now the reason he was frantic to get out. A look of utter horror flew across his face as he jumped up and started banging against the bars. Sweat gleamed down his face as his gritted teeth screamed through the bars at the guards who were running to the deck in a faint hope to escape. "Help! Get us out of here! Kiara, get over here and help!"

Kiara smiled a sad smile, her face still masked by her bangs, as tears began to stream down her face. "There is a reason a top ranking spy is in this cell. If I was in a normal one we would be out of here no problem. But the bars, they are sea stone. I cant touch them, or go near them," She frowned as her tears continued to silently flow, and spoke softly again sounding guilty. "I'm truly sorry. I broke my promise to you. I promised to protect you guys no matter what. And now, you will die too young. You will drown, and suffer while drowning," She jumped a bit as the water began to slowly come into the cell on the floor. "Im so sorry," And she wept, no hope left what so ever.

Lings face twisted up in anger, his hair making his face as his teeth gritted. He looked up after a moment of silence, his eyes looked like that of a murderer. They showed anger and pain, and a bit of sorrow. "You careless idiot! You stupid fishbrained fool! You just had to sink the boat! The boat with Kiara and the little dope inside? All for what? A bit of swimming? The pleaser of killing the marines? To save yourself? WAS IT-" He stopped as he was interupted by a hand on his shoulder. He looked back and swung his fist at whomever had stopped him. Punching the figure fairly hard, he stopped as he realised who it was.

Allen didnt block the punch, nor did he yell at Ling for hitting him. He just stood there and glanced at the small man before him, before looking towardsthe fishman. He tryed to mask any pain on his face, trying to be the tough one, and began to speak looking directly at Yubi. "Why did you? Did you think to fix it? You could have tryed to get on deck and saved them," Allen stopped his soft lecture and headed to steer the ship towards the marine one, which was already 1/5 of the way down. He prayed he wasnt to late as they sailed towards the ship. Once they arived, He looked towards Yubi, as if for some help up. "I could use a boost. Its the least you can do," He knew Yubi was the only one strong enough to, but he was stil unhappy with him, so he didnt try to mask the slight hatred evident in his voice.

Yubi frowned even deeper, knowing all of their harsh words were true. He lightly jogged over to Allen and quickley lifted him up so he could grab onto the railing and pull himself up. Once giving Ling a boost as well so Allen could pull him up, he climbed up onto the deck as well.

They all started running towards the stairs leading to the captives quarters, praying they werent too late.

Kiara was now unconcious under the water, slowly drowning, letting dreams fill her head as her final moments. She dreamed of the life she could have had with her newly found nakama. And with those images of them and her, she finally let go with a smile on her face....

The legendary crimson fox, was dead.

Spike had swam to the top of the cell, not realising Kiara had sunk, and was now, pronounced dead. When he saw the others swiming down the hall. he screamed at the top of his lungs. "Help!"

The room was almost half way under water now. Ling saw the cell which contained and Spike.

This is bad Ling thought. Yubi swam over to try to break the bars, but to no avail. Ling slowly swam over. He touched the cold bar, which ran from floor to ceiling, about 7 feet. Is this… steel? Ling reached for his duffel bag which floated lamely above the water. He pulled out a small plastic tube and took off its cap. Yubi had stopped to see what Ling was doing. Ling took the tube and squeezed a bit of the thick, clear gel onto the bar. Lingshou had developed this ‘fast-dissolving’ solution a month ago. This solution easily thinned metals like steel and could fully dissolve a piece of metal within a few minutes. He also made the gel thick, for underwater use. Usually a steel bar like this would dissolve fairly quickly, but now it seemed to make little progress…

“Seastone.” A weak voice from behind him said. Ling turned and saw Allen floating lazily on top of the water. “This cell is made of Seastone.”

Dammit! Ling looked at the bar he had gelled. The edges of the bar were slowly fizzing. But the bar showed little signs of dissolving. Seastone… Of course they’d put Kiara in a cell made of Seastone! It was still better than nothing… Ling moved on the next bar and applied some gel onto it. Then he moved onto the next bar and emptied the tube. The frustrated Lingshou chucked the tube across the room. Three bars were now fizzing slowly under water. They were dissolving, but not nearly fast enough. The water reached Ling’s neck.

“Yubi!” Ling cried out.

Yubi nodded. He dove under and began pounding on the first fizzing bar. The bar had become thinner now, but breaking it was still trouble. Ling felt the shock of Yubi’s punches on the bar. A sinking sound went off behind him. Shit! Ling grabbed his duffel bag and dove under for Allen. He swam towards the opening of the room, remembering that Devil Fruit users lose power under seawater. Ling turned to look back at Yubi. The first bar broke, and Yubi continued attack the second bar. Yubi’s blood appeared as a red mist slowly permeating the water from his torn knuckles…

Ling swam through the door, dragging Allen behind him. He reached the bow of the ship, which was dangerously close to the water. Lingshou, exhausted, dropped Allen’s body onto the deck. The marines had all abandoned ship, and the only ones aboard were the party of 5. Ling waited a few moments for Yubi, who never appeared from out the door to the cells. The bow of the ship was almost parallel with the water now. And Ling threw Allen onto a nearby rowboat. Ling jumped on himself, and then slowly rowed the boat to shore.

He reached the shore, and saw a nearby campfire. Sitting there was Yubi. Beside him were the bodies of Kiara and Spike. Ling dragged Allen next to them.

Ling spoke, “You broke the bars, then took those two and swam through a hole you made in the ship?”
Yubi didn’t respond. A white cloth poorly bandaged Yubi’s hands. Red stains could be seen under the cloth.

Ling stood up. “Thank you…Yubi.” Ling then kicked sand into the flame. The flamed died as Ling spoke, “Remember what happened last time we had a fire?”

Yubi smirked. “So… what do we do now?”

Ling replied, “The ship that captured us, was the main battleship. After we were captured, the other marine ships assumed the mission was accomplished and set sail back to their HQ. However, the main ship sunk.” Ling pointed at the small triangle above the water, which used to be a ship. “And the marines on it abandoned ship. So until those marines reach their HQ and tell everyone the 5 fugitives escaped… We are safe. Meaning until then, we must find a boat and get the hell out of here.”

“And how much time do you suppose we have?”

Ling smirked. “At most… 1 hour.”

Yubi spoke, "1 hour? Good enough...

By the way, Kiara's dead."

Yubi thought as the others were harsh to him for his stupid mistake,"Why?! Why was i dumb enough to think I could overpower an entire warship? What a fool I was. ’Hey why not take over a sinking warship?’ I forgot that I needed the whole to get in and before I know it I’m responsible for the deaths of two people. Stupid marines ruin everything.”

They headed back and Yubi knew this was his chance to make a difference. ”If I save them that’ll make it fair. I put them in danger and get them out of it. Like with the fire. Only...I’m just putting them in danger and barely getting them out before more danger. As soon as this is done I’ll offer to leave”

Yubi had soon realized that it was no use. He had broken the first two bars but the opening was barely big enough. He decided to pound the floor swim under the bars and rescue them. He was soon met with success as he punched through the floor. The cell floor thank goodness, wasn't seastone. A little bit longer and he had them free. Swimming down he broke a second whole through the bottom of the ship. It made it sink faster but it was also the fastest way out.

He carried Spike and Kiara underwater, frantic. Swimming as fast as he could because he had no idea how long it took for a human to die underwater. He got on shore and started pumping water out of  both the bodies. He had gotten all of the water he could and so he listened to them breathing. Spike was but...Kiara wasn’t. Noticing some wood Yubi made a fire and also tore some of his sahs for a little bandaid on his wound.

When Allen and Ling arrived Yubi told them, by that time Spike had awakened, “Kiara is dead.”

Yubi payed no attention to the conversation but he did catch that they had about an hour. He felt that all he could've done was accomplished and so asked them, "Do you think I should leave? All I've given you is grief."
