"this arent the inn?" O_O (expression)
"sure ill join you. i dont like being alone anyways.." he said
kato took his hoof out of his sleeve and was holding it out
"il explain that weird hand of mine later" kato said
"ahh, finally a bar" said Mat, "and listen to this music, i like his place". He walked inside the bar and sat at a table.
"Barkeep" he yelled "give me a botlte of sake!" "right away" said Jackson "oh no you dont" said Din "what" said Jackson confused
"evry time my brother drinks he i have he gets himself into trobles and i have to get him out of then, no way am i letting him drink!"
"your brother?" asked Jackson even more confused. "yes my brother" said Din "im Din and this is my brother Ma~"
"Mat" said Mat not letting Din finish his sentance. Jackson's confustion turned into laghter "i see, well when you decide tell me." he said turning aroand to treat another customer.
"'WAIT, BARKEEP" yelled Mat "I want my sake"
"so you decided then?". asked Jackson/
"yes i have" answred Mat "and you, you have no right to tell me what i should do i want to get drunk and i will get drunk and i dont care what you say! " shoetd Mat at himself
"i do ave the right o tell you not to get drunk" said Din "because i'm the one who has to clean after ypu evry time!" yelled Din Back at himslef.at
"hers your sake" said Jackson giving putiing a glasse and a bottele of sake on the table. he stayed a while aching the strange man arguing with himself.
"if you'r going to drink this bottle i'm going" Said the man to himself. then the man picked up the bottle and drank half of it in one go. "ypur not even listing to me are you" said Din "oh what the hell, barkeep another bottle for me too!"
right away " said Jackson.
after a few moments and more then a few bottles of sake both Mat and Din were very drunk.
Z heard a girl say his name and in the ally behind the bar, "I'm sorry, what did you call me? Oh look a puppy!" siad Z.
"Where siad Mei." she siad turning to pet the cute dog tied outside a glass shop. However when she turned back to hand the man her invitation, he was gone.
"No, this is a bar... ya know? Where you get drinks and get drunk?" She hook hands with the hooved kid, and didn't question it. "Just lemme know when you're ready to leave, I need to get out of here soon before I pass out again."
Zen, who had fallen asleep right when he got there, woke up. “This inn is expensive, I should have just taken the passes” (sighs) “I guess it’s to late now. (Rubbing his eyes from his nap). “Come on Icaris it’s time to scout this town. (Looks down at the map) him and Icaris walk down to the Drunken Roger bar. They pass a lot of people on the way down to the bar. He takes the long way to get to know the area.
He had never been to another island so he wanted to see what the island had to offer. He saw many people walking around getting ready for the festival.
People setting up stands with merchandise and many pretty women walking around. Many people were staring at him at his oddly looking lizard.
“I have to get some supplies tomorrow before I meat this mystery man” “but ill worry about that tomorrow” Yin and Icaris take a turn down a street towards the bar.
He walks in there and sees many weird looking people. (Stomach rumbles) “ um I need something to eat. He walks over and sits down and calls “Hey give me some food and a drink, oh and some meat for my lizard. “Not to much will be left after this” he mumbles to himself.”(shaking his money bag)”who knew this stuff was so expensive” “Here’s your food sir,” the barkeeper says as he sets the food on the table.
And they chow down.
Meijin was awoken from his slumber by the gentle aroma of food. He suddenly realized that he was hungry from a whole day of sailing and sleeping. Trivalu went below deck to gather his weapons and headed into town. Looking back over his shoulder, he told his parrot to guard the ship.
The Triviamaster followed the sounds and smells to a bar with a sign over the door that proclaimed “Drunken Roger.” He slipped into the bar and did a once over on the scene. On the stage was a strange merman who was soulfully playing a loud rock ballad. The bar was surrounded by a golden haired girl, a man who was talking to himself, a loud man with a lizard on his shoulder, a mysterious figure in a black raincoat and a woman with a large sack of beli on the bar. Each of the different characters was being served by a large man who Meijin could have sworn was the same guy who was at the dock that morning. At the door leading to the alley, he saw a woman with her hair in pigtails looking rather confused.
Sitting down at the dark end of the bar, Trivalu set down two gold coins. The bartender came over and asked what he wanted. “I’d like a plate of food, a mug of something alcoholic and information.”
“Well, those coins will get you the first two, I’ll need a little more for information,” replied Jackson as he turned around to fix a plate of food. When he turned around with the food and drink, there was another gold coin on the bar. “What do you want to know?” asked Jackson.
“First of all, I’d like to know anything you know about a man in a white bandana.”
“All I know is that he’s helping me make a profit tonight. Nearly everyone in here is looking for him.”
At the mention of this, Meijin took a look around again, quickly memorizing the faces around him. The Triviamaster asked his second question, “All right, that’s good. Is there anything that I should know about this island?”
“Well, despite the big celebration that’s coming up, nothing much. The inns are around the perimeter of the island, with supply stores near them. At the center of the island is the Forbidden Mountain.”
With the mention of the word “forbidden,” Meijin’s attention perked up.
“What do you mean, forbidden?” he inquired.
“Not much is known about the mountain, but a few people went up it and didn’t come back, so the island’s chamber of commerce has deemed it “forbidden” to keep from having any liability if anyone else were to disappear.”
Meijin got up and flicked another gold coin at Jackson. “Thanks for the food,” he said as he walked out of the bar.
Once outside, Trivalu followed the sound of a hammer striking an anvil as he headed toward the blacksmith. He made a quick stop at the blacksmith to pick up some shot to fill his empty shotgun shells with. Squatting behind a large crate in a quiet alley, he loaded the shot into the shells and put them in place on his belt. Circling around the base of the mountain, he found a trail with a large locked gate in front of it. One quick slash of his sword and the gate was now open. The precision of the cut of his sword caused the gate to look like it was still locked.
Meijin snuck inside the gate and closed it. Glancing upward at the peak of the Forbidden Mountain, he started up the trail to the peak.

"-the waves atop the sea... they dreeeaaam of living... as they race to me... the end is unforgiving... wait for a while... to see another smile..." Sakurai ended the song with a deep base note that hung in the air afterwards. He walked off the stage to a round of applause, and as he walked to the bar, he passed Kuro, laying a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, beautiful." Kuro wasn't sure if he was mad, sarcastic, or just clueless. "If you want to buy me dinner, please wait until AFTER my performances." he winked as he passed by.
As Sakurai came to the counter, he started "Hey, bartender, give me a cold beer and-" Sakurai raised an eyebrow as he spotted Kato in the corner of his eye. Sakurai walked over and looked him up and down, totally amazed. "WHOA!" Kato jerked back in surprise. "You look awesome! We MUST have you as the drummer in our band!" Sakurai grinned. "No! Baseline! ...or... No! Drums! Definately drums!"
Yin saw a man come into the bar “This bar is getting pretty crowded” he said to Icaris. “It doesn’t seem like a bar would get this many people at one time” it’s just not right. He saw the newcomer come in and sit down.
He was watching him for a couple of minuets, “what could he be talking about with that barkeeper with that much attention” the new guy suddenly got up and left in a hurry. “My my my what’s this guys hurry.”
Yin and Icaris decided to follow him in the shadows. He stopped at a shop to pick something up,
Yin didn’t see what he had bought but continued to follow him to a mountain that every one called “forbidden”. And followed him up it.
"Wah!" she cried out. Wide eyed the young woman stood there and shivered. What just happened? The young woman backed out of the way and slowly ever so slowly made her way out. Pushing her hair back and shivered as she ran out of the way. Closing her eyes tightly she made her way into the bar and sighed. Standing there she sighed and looked around as her eyebrows knit together.
Where did he just go? Mei closed her eyes a moment and then looked over to see all the people in the bar. Uh...She wasn't quite sure what to do! Mei lost her invitation. And she was rather upset about it. Her eyes welled up gently with tears. What if she got left behind now? What if she nevr left this stupid island! The young girl's nose sniffed as she felt her bottom lip tremble.
It looked like she would cry! Making her way to the bar she whimpered and gave the bartender some money. "I want...I want...I want a Shirly Temple with extra cherries please!" She felt her bottom lip tremble. Mei wiped her eyes with her wrist. "Mmm..." She pouted.
A shiver ran down Meijin’s spine as he realized that he was being followed. Doing a quick look behind him, he saw that no one was there. Thoughts began to rush through his head.
Did someone notice that the gate is open?
Are there Marines on this island?
Would I be able to fight with my guns this high up without killing the innocent?
Trivalu continued walking along the spiraling trail as he began to get ready for whatever may be ahead. First, he removed his white trench coat and turned it inside out to make it a black trench coat. Since the sun had set, black would be his ally in the darkness. Taking one of his shotguns out of its holster on his back, the Triviamaster loaded a shell into the barrel and cocked the weapon.
The trail evened out a little and he turned around and started walking backwards, to see if he could see his pursuer while still gaining ground. A twig snapped, and Meijin spun around to the source of the sound. Through his sunglasses, he saw a bush rustle and become still once again. Approaching the bush with caution, he held the shotgun in his right hand while he removed a throwing knife from the sheath on his leg with his left hand.
There! Behind me!
He spun around as he heard a light chuckle from the man with the lizard he had seen at the bar. The forked tongue of the lizard caught the light of the moon as it flicked in and out of its mouth.
“I don’t know who you are, or what you want, but I’ll have you know that this is the 7 series shotgun from Wessolt and I only miss at this close range only when I’m scaring someone," said Meijin as he leveled the weapon at the man.

"ah.. no thanks.." Kato said and tried to smile a bit to sakurai who was staring at him
It was getting noisy in the inn and Kato was getting tired all of a sudden...
"hey Kuro.." He said and poked kuros shoulder
"can we go to that inn now? im tired and theres things i want to do tomorrow." Kato asked kindly from Kuro
That touch gave a slight shiver up her spine and was going to reply with a glare but saw a light, "Cute isn't he? Hey, I'm kinda low on money... do you think you could buy me a drink?" She looked to Kato and nodded, then held out a finger to say they would leave in one moment.
“OH my aren’t we cocky today” said Yin,
“with that much confidence I’m sure that you probably don’t miss to often” “or, you are way to confident with yourself” “you noticed me quite quickly, people never usually catch me. I’ll give you credit for that. (Icaris drops down and disappears behind a rock.) “But there’s no way you can defeat me even if you tried.”
“But lets get back to the point, who are you and what are you doing on this mountain, and by chance, are you in on this deal with the White Bandana Pirate.
Lowering his shotgun just slightly, Meijin responded, “Where are my manners? My name is Meijin “Triviamaster” Trivalu. You may use any combination of those names. As for what I’m doing on this mountain, I should be asking you the same question. You see, I am an adventurer of sorts, wherever there is a mystery to be solved, I’ll be there. Whenever something is “Forbidden,” I need to know why. When there’s nothing known, I must know.”
(Insert wavy “flashback sequence beginning” effect)
Meijin’s father lies on his deathbed as his son hovers over him. Pulling Meijin closer, his father whispers his final words, “I wasn't able to figure out some of the mysteries of this world, so in my place I would like you to do this one thing for me: Become the smartest man in the world. Travel the globe and use the journal and sketchbook to document things which no man has ever seen.”
(Insert wavy “flashback sequence ending” effect)
The glint of the moon off of Trivalu’s sunglasses changed as he became much more serious.
“As for the White Bandana Pirate, as you have called him, I know very little. Therefore, to satisfy my curiosity, I have accepted his request to see me on this island. Judging from the fact that you were at the “Drunken Roger” when I came in and the information I received from the bartender, you too know little about this White Bandana Pirate.”
Not quite fully trusting the stranger and his now hidden lizard, the Triviamaster raised his shotgun again, steadying it with his left arm. “Now I’ve been polite and answered your question, despite the fact, mind you, that I asked you first. Now, what is your name, what is your reason for being on the “Forbidden” mountain and how do you know about this White Bandana Pirate?”
After the music stoped Mat got up to applau, only then did he realise how drunk he is. the room was spinning and he could barly walk.
He saw the musiction walking twords a table where a girls and a strange man sat and barly walked over to the musition, noking over things in his way. Wene he got to the the musition he had his hand on the girl and was talking.
"wow great preformance" said Mat
"i secound that" said Din "you were great"
Sakurai moved his head to look at the very drunken man he opened his mouth wanting to say somthing when Mat yelled "LOOK OUT
THERES AN OCTOPOS ON YOUR HEAD". then he grabbed the octopos and tryed to get him off of Sakurai's head
All of a sudden,
out of the shadows that Icaris was concealed in behind Meijin, a tongue shot out of nowhere, like a rope and pulled the weapon out of Meijin’s hand. Pulling the gun back to him.
Yin whipped out his bow and pulled an arrow to it before Meijin could do anything. “since you were invited by the pirate that wears the white bandana, you and me will most likely meet again after this event here on this mountain, so I will warn you that anyone who raises their weapon to me will die” Oh yea my name, My full name is Yinyang, but everyone that I know just calls me Yin. As for me following you, I have a reason for that. First of all you looked suspicious the way you left the bar in a hurry, second, I thought that you might have been a wanted pirate. And seeing how I’m low on cash I thought a little bounty could help my monetary state. But seeing how we will both be meeting this white bandana guy I’ll let you live this once.
Icaris (who returned to Yin’s shoulder) tossed the gun back to Meijin. Well, this mountain has had me wondering since I got here. Do you mind if I come along with you exploring the mountain? (Putting his bow up)
Re-holstering his shotgun on his back, Meijin squinted in careful contemplation of his situation. He had been hurt in the past by people who he had called his nakama. In this situation, the speed of Yin and the assistance of the lizard gave the upper hand to Meijin’s opponent. Trivalu decided to apply the adage of keeping his friends close and his enemies closer, at least until he could learn more.
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have a partner on this exploration expedition. The buddy system has been proven to be a safe and effective way to ward off any trouble,” mentioned the Triviamaster as he continued up the spiraling trail. “And to be clear, everyone at that bar, with perhaps the exception of the bartender was quite suspicious. Why didn’t you follow after that figure in the black raincoat? Either way, we’re here now and that’s that.”
Walking side by side up the mountain, Meijin began a polite conversation, hoping to engage Yin in some meaningful small talk. “I’m sure that we’ve all got our stories about the White Bandana, and I’d like to hear your story. But first, let me tell you how I came to this island in the first place.”
With a steady pace, Trivalu began his anecdote, “On the island of Pandoria in the seas of West Blue, I was on a quest for information regarding a legend of a box of infinite wisdom and knowledge. To make a long story short, there was a group of people who were dedicated to protecting their island. Needless to say, I had to battle my way through a large number of them before I got any useful information. Deep within a cave underneath the island, I expected to find the box I was looking for, but instead I found nothing. The people of the island were protecting absolutely nothing but the myth of the island.”
Stopping at a switchback, Meijin continued, “Instead, I found the White Bandana. He stood in the center of the large room in a beam of light that came from a hole in the ceiling. At that point, he explained that he had been watching me since I had arrived on the island and was interested in my abilities. I was astounded that he had followed me that entire time since my senses are usually very keen. With a flick of his wrist, his card flew over to me and I grabbed it and quickly skimmed its contents. Being Captain Random at the time, I let him know that I was flattered, but I had my own goals. As I turned to leave, I took one last look behind me, but the White Bandana was already gone.”
"After my crew mutinied, I pulled out the card again and decided to find out what the White Bandana pirate wanted. That's why I came to this island in the first place. The alure of a forbidden mountain seemed like something that would pass the time until I found him." Finished with his story, the Triviamaster continued on the trail.
Seeing Meijin put his weapon gave him a sense of security even though he is always on his guard. As they walk up the mountain he could tell Meijin did not have much trust in him, he kept tensing up as though he was going to go for a weapon.
Yin relaxed and did not fear him, because with Icaris with him he could stop anyone this close if he felt it was needed. He listened to this mans story, thinking about the events in his life. All started with his fathers assassination when he was younger. After that he tried to learn the way of the sword, So one day he could get his revenge. The first master he had learned from had made him so mad in training one day that he went in to his second state of his mind and beat the teacher to death, after that no one would teach him to fight with a sword. After that he just practiced running a lot since no one would teach him any thing that dealt with a weapon out of fear that he would kill them. This explains how he got so fast.
He was telling all this to Meijin as they walked who seemed interested as he listened. Meijin started to also loosen up and get more comfortable, but was still a little tense. Yin continued, one day a bow master came to his house, and gave him an opportunity to learn to shoot arrows. The bow master, Denshin believed the bow to be less destructive if Yin was to lash out in an angry furry.
One day while they were training Yin did loose his temper and changed mind states he lashed out against Denshin but was pulled back by Denshin’s lizard Icaris. After that day Denshin gave Icaris to Yin and ever since then they have had an unbreakable bond/team.
And one day he had gotten an invitation from some random man with a white bandanna, inviting him on a journey. He never gave it a thought till later that day, when he thought that maybe this quest would be fun and would help him increase his skills further.
Thus ending his story, as it was getting late now. He asked, “what do you think this guy wants with us, the white bandanna pirate”
As Kato politely refused, Sakurai insisted. "Hey! Come on! The girls will go wild for you! Can't you hear it already? They're screaming..." Sakurai paused "What's your name?" Kato looked a bit overwhelmed, but answered "Kato" Sakurai draped an arm around his shoulders and gestured at an imagined audience "They are screaming 'Katooo-sama! Nyaa! We love you! Katooo-sama!' It will be the best image ever!" Kato seemed a bit frustrated, but he could actually sort of imagine the crowd. "Listen, I'll write a song, and you can see if you like it!" Sakurai seemed very excited "This is gonna be SO cool!" Sakurai finally left Kato alone, and went on a quest for pen and paper.
He got to the bar, and noticed someone coming at him, seemingly a bit wobbly. He seemed to try forming a sentence, but he just stopped, with his mouth agape, looking at Afro, who was busy picking up nuts from a bowl. "LOOK OUT! THERE'S AN OCTOPUS ON YOUR HEAD!" Sakurai started to laugh, but was yanked along as Mat/Din tried to dislodge a very startled Afro. Who in turn did like most frightened octopi do in such situation. A spray of ink turned Mat/Din's upper body completely black, making him fumble around blindly. "WHO TURNED OFF THE LIGHT!?" he complained, flailing around.
The two reached the top of the mountian its flat peak unusial but there in the middle was a stake with a not and a white piece of thread atached to it.

"Ey bartender, my company wants a drink, could you bring something over?" kato asked jackson
"ere you go!" said jackson and brought a... glass of milk infront of Kuro and kato paid for it
"hey tell me something about yourself, you seem to be a nice person!" kato asked Kuro
A memory came in Katos mind..
-Kato remembered how people treated him when he moved to human populated town.. he remembered how humans shouted at him, cursed him as a devil.. no one accepted him...-
"but this woman.. she didint even snap when she saw my hoof.." he thought

Kuro gave the glass a slightly disgusted stare and nudged it to Kato before turning to Jackson, "Black Swan, please." Jackson gave her a nod and a grin as he pulled a dark colored wine bottle from the self. He opened it and filled a small glass with the liquid from inside, which smelled sweet but as black as an empty room with no light nor windows, "'Ere ya go, missy." She thanked him with a smile and tilted her head back, drinking the sweet liquid in a few swallows then glanced at Kato, "Since we're gonna be hanging out for a while... do you mind if we drag the guitar-man along?"
Without even waiting for an answer she spun her stool around and waved to Sakurai, "Hey, oi! Guitar-man, c'mere, love." Love? Yes, it was a thing she said, meaning nothing more or less than "friend".
Turning his head toward Yin, Meijin simply replied, “There is no need to confront this man.” The note left at the top of the mountain revealed many pieces to the White Bandana’s intentions. Not only that, but he noticed a few holes on the flat peak. This mountain must be a mine. There probably isn’t anything here but the shell of this mountain, thought Trivalu as he took in the view of the full island. “There are two of us together already, now we just need to find the other seven,” said the Triviamaster as he smiled.
Yin asked how they were supposed to find these other seven. To this, Meijin replied, “Simple, my friend. First off, we need to check the “Drunken Roger.” The bartender said that most of the people in there were looking for the White Bandana. Even if he didn’t realize it, that bartender was very helpful.”
While the two hiked back down the mountain, another question was posed by Yin. He asked how they were supposed to know which seven people to look for. “You said that I looked suspicious at the bar, right? Well, we just need to find seven others who are just as suspicious, and I have an idea how.” Meijin grabbed the bottom of his now white trench coat and tore a strip of cloth to make a makeshift bandana. “Judging from my encounter with the White Bandana, I don’t think any of us got a good look at him. If my intuitions are right, the others will be looking for someone in a white bandana,” he said as he tied the white cloth around his head, replacing his standard black bandana into one of his pockets.
Trivalu held a fist upward at the moon and calculated how long until sunrise. “The note said that we need to meet at the north beach tomorrow night, which is approximately 17 hours away. I suggest we finish tonight off at an inn and search for our nakama tomorrow.” Passing back through the “unlocked” gate, the two strangers headed to an inn.
"mm..? the quitar man? yeah sure. but can we leave now? im goddamn tired..."
Kato said while drinking milk
"is that inn far a away?" kato said
"i guess ive got some shopping to do tomorrow" he whispered to himself..
