Meijin was in the clothing district when he noticed one of the faces in his sketchbook. In fact, this face already had an asterisk next to it. Mostly concealed underneath a white beanie and black raincoat, he was able to see something odd. Is that a llama? Trivalu thought to himself as he was observing his subject. Counting Yin and himself, the Triviamaster was now confident of at least four other pieces of the puzzle, making the total up to six. There were still three more pieces, one of which would be revealed at the meeting tonight of which he must be alone.
An announcement was sent over the PA system which informed everyone of the opening ceremony in the main plaza. Meijin was done with the observation needed for this piece, so he figured that he could find the other pieces at the plaza.
Once at the plaza, Trivalu stayed to the outside of the crowd. Increasing his elevation by standing on a crate, he was able to observe the entire scene. There were a few things he was looking for that would give him someone to observe. Right from the start, he saw a girl who he remembered from his sketchbook. She looked confused and seemed like she was looking for someone, which was how he was able to pick her out in the first place. Over the din of the crowd, he could hear her yelling, “Kato! Kaaatoooo, where are you?”
Hmmm, Kato must be one of the people who was at the bar last night. Whipping out his journal, Meijin wrote the name down and drew a few circles around it. Now I know a third of the names. The pieces are falling into place. Underneath the heading for the girl, he wrote down some more notes as he observed her behavior. Another asterisk was placed near a face in his sketchbook as Trivalu said, “Another one down, there’s only one left that I haven’t confirmed.”

Siren had finished her bath and went shopping for rare items, she often did this, they made good trading and bartering tools. She then heard the announcement and headed to the Plaza. She stayed behind the crowd, not wanting to be shoved around or stolen from, and least of all noticed.
She sat on a barrel in the backside of the plaza near an alleyway. No one was back here because it had a somewhat creepy and eerie feel to the place. Mist from the sea crawled throughout the alley way and even in the day it almost seemed pitch black. she liked this spot, no one was near her, though the Siren did not necessarily being alone, she did not like being crowded.
She sat there half dozed off when someone neared her...

As Sakurai heard the PA system, his face turned into a mischevious grin in slow motion. He picked up his guitar, and seemed to tremble with excitement. "Oh yeah..." he started to send small suirges of electricity involentarily through nearby objects. "Sound-system... GET!" he exclaimed and burst through the door of the inn.
The steady flow of information over the PA system was interrupted by a sudden commotion. "HEY! You can't come in-" "How does this work? Oh yeah!" "Get o-aiee! TENTACLES!*gargle*" "So if I put this... and so... HAHA!" "'muffled struggling*" "PYU-KU!" .... silence
"ALL RIGHT! THIS IS YOUR NEW DJ! MY NAME IS SAKURAI OH-NAGI, AND I HAVE A REQUEST FOR THE PEOPLE OF THIS ISLAND!" a guitar roared through the entire city "GET WILD! HAVE FUN! PARTY UNTIL YOU DROP! NOW, LISTEN TO MY SONG!" guitar and drums (Afro's secret power) filled the air with upbeat music, surging through the island like a contagious dancing epedemic.

Kato was just about to go to this clothing shop but then he heard a a announcement over the PA system.. "hm.. guess i should leave the shopping for later.." he thought and started walking towards the plaza. He saw many people going to the same direction, looks like the party was starting..
There was a huge crowd in the plaza so kato decided to stay a little further away from the people so that they woudnt recognize him as a lama.. he also pulled the strings of his raincoats hood so that you coudnt see his head at all.
"i wonder if Kuro-neechan is somewhere here?.." he thought and walked around the plaza

As the PA sputtered abruptly, “Well hello sir (Music playing in the back) I like your enthusiasm, but can you please go to the opening ceremony before playing more of your song.”
Sakurai “I would never stop playing unless….NO I would never stop,”
Everyone across town grinned at the silly exchange.
“Sir once we get the opening ceremony over, there will be 40 bands, from all of the seas, across town playing. And 12 different music stores will open.”
“REALLY!” Sakuria exclaimed. “In that case I’m outa here." With that Sakuria left the radio tower and bolted from roof to roof trying to get to the Plaza ASAP.
Elsewhere Z had heard this whole thing and watched from a secret lookout. He grinned I think this guy will be the soul of our crew he thought.

While walking about 10 minutes around the plaza, Kato noticed Kuro walking in the middle of the crowd. she seemed like she was looking for something.Kato started to run towards her. He was happy that he could talk to someone again.
BUT THEN
The most terrible thing that Kato could imagine happened. His black raincoat got stuck on something while he was running.. there was a loud "scratch!" sound and in a split second, his coat was lying on the ground. There he was, standing in the middle of the crowd, a white lama that had a white beanie on his head and a bag on his back. A tear came out his eye, while he thought about sad thing from the past..
"he´s not one of us.. hes not a lama anymore! go away!!"
"monster!! kill it!"
"dont let the devil go! slay him!!"
"is the same thing gonna happen again? are there people gonna accept me as who i am?"
Kato coudnt help it anymore. Tears were flowing down his cheeks as he watcher Kuro, who was about 10 meter away from him..
Kato could still whisper two little words.."Help Me.."

The merman taking over the stage gave Meijin a chuckle as he made some more notes in his journal under the merman’s entry. Something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. The black raincoat wearing figure came into the crowd and was walking along when the raincoat got caught on something. Ripped in twain, the raincoat fell to the ground revealing the character underneath. Trivalu’s eyes widened as he saw a llama standing in the middle of the plaza. “Holy crap, it is a llama!” breathed the Triviamaster as he hopped down from his crate and made his way toward the animal.
As he approached, he saw that it was crying and heard a very light, “Help me . . .” come from the llama’s mouth. Not only is it a llama, it’s a talking llama! Meijin grabbed the llama by the back of its neck, which caused the llama to jolt in surprise. “Don’t kill me!” was the response as the llama tensed up and closed its eyes. Whispering into the llama’s ear, Trivalu said, “I’ve been watching you, I don’t want to hurt you. Come with me.” With these words, he led the llama into an alley nearby where a woman was sitting, half-asleep in spite of the ruckus nearby. Pulling out his journal and pencil, the Triviamaster began to question the now calm llama. “I’m Meijin “Triviamaster" Trivalu, and I’d like to know your name, if it wouldn’t be too much trouble.”

"i really have to get myself together.. i was almost killed backthere!" he thought
"oh my name? they call me Kato. i-im a lama as you can see. but why have you been watching me? because im a lama? or is it beacause of this beanie of mine? or maybe theres something in my bag that you want?" kato said and started to search his bag

The mention of the name “Kato” brought Meijin’s eyes to the name that he had circled. Quickly flipping through the faces in his sketchbook, he wrote the name down next to the llama’s face. Looking back up at Kato, Trivalu said, “Let’s just say that I was given an assignment by a mutual friend of ours. I’m supposed to find pieces to a puzzle that I’m working on and you just happen to be one of them.” Kato seemed to be flattered by this as he blushed (as much as a llama could blush, that is). Meijin flashed his white bandana invitation card at the llama in order to get the full meaning of his mission across.
Trying to get some more information, the Triviamaster asked another question. “There was a gold haired girl who was calling your name in the plaza earlier. Who is she?” Poised for Kato’s answer, he waited . . .

"OH! you have one of those too! heh.. this is getting interesting.."
"gold haired girl..? Oh! you mean Kuro dont you? she has got one of these invitation cards too. i just met her yesterday at the local bar." kato said
"can i ask you a favor triviamaster? can you act that youre my owner and im your pet for a while? i need to get some new clothing. i cant move like this in the town." he asked

"Kaaaato--" she spotted the black garment which lay on the street, people stomping on it like trash. She went to it and picked it up, remembering it from the night before and could pick out small white hairs on like... much like animal fur. Kato. Her voice picked up again, using only one hand to cup around her mouth, "Oi! Kato?"
Wandering out of the crowd, now with a pocket full of coins, the young golden haired woman glanced about the streets and store fronts, searching for the owner of the black jacket held in her hand.

Yin was caught up in all the commotion of the festival. He saw a llama get taken by a familiar man by the name of Meijin into the shadows of a building, Yin didn’t care about that even though, he was interested. He had to get out of this crowd, he walked into the nearest store. The store happened to be the one he visited just earlier. He started looking around again it looked like they had restocked since earlier. But one thing caught his eyes, a shinny golden arrow, it looked spectacular then he saw the price, whoa, that’s more then bounties on high raked pirates. I won’t have that kind of money for years. He thought to himself, but it’s just one arrow.” it must do something special. I’ve never stolen anything this big before. I’m just good at running away. (ding, ding, ding)an idea struck him. The storekeeper didn’t look very attentive, Yin was walking toward the door and as he walked out Icaris spit out his tongue, and snatched the arrow as he jumped into the crowd. The shopkeeper couldn’t fallow him very far.
HEHE he laughed as he was getting away, arrow still in Icaris’ mouth. This might get me in a little trouble he said to himself. Oh well ![]()

Another name down and confirmed. . . Meijin thought to himself as he wrote down the name next to the asterisked face in his sketchbook. “I’d be glad to help you get around town. Any friend of the white bandana is a friend of mine.” Glancing to his side, Trivalu noticed that he still had his makeshift white bandana on. He took it off and replaced it with his standard black headband. Passing by the Siren sleeping on a barrel once again, the Triviamaster and the llama headed to the clothing district.

As the 20 min deadline was up the Mayer, Mr. Samishy (sa-m-y-she) walked out onto a platform in the plaza. A mike was given to him and a red jacket with gold trim. His voice was loud for a man of his stature.
“Ladies and Gentlemen children of all ages we have waited long enough. We here in trade town have hosted this event for 99 years. Today marks the 100 year anniversary of the Great Belli (I know I misspelled the currency) festival One day from now at sunset we will meet right back here in the plaza for the closing party. So without any further delay let the festivities begin!” A loud cheer ran through the crowd as shops uncovered themselves around the plaza and people ran to every part of trade town to shop.

(Dubi, please don't control my character. >.<; I mean that may be how she reacts but she's my Mei, so I'll make her react. Okay?)
Mei's teeth remained firmly clenched upon the male's hand. Nose crinkling up she growled in her throat and shoulders raised. When she finally realized that he meant no harm she blinked a couple of times and she tilted her chin up to look at him. The ebony haired girl blinked a couple of times as she sat there.
"Din and Mat?" what odd names. But then again Mei wasn't a normal name either. And neither was Markl...But that was alright!
Mei thought a while. Should she introduce herself? The young woman looked away and closed her eyes half way. "Mei. Mei Li." She poked her fingers together as she looked back to him. Her pigtails fell over her shoulder and she pushed Mat back away from her and off the stool standing there in a confused manor.
What odd people she had ran into. An electric eel merman who had an octopus for a hair. And these two that she had met. Looking over in the direction of the PA system she heard the announcement and thought a while. The plaza huh? Mei brushed her skirt off and she looked back towards the two with a smile and a small wave.
"I gotta go now. Okay?" she smiled and closed her eyes in a happy manor. Waving gently she started to walk out. Looking back to the two she said. "I need to get to my new job, but you can come if you want." She stood there with a small blink and placed her hands over one another.

Something like a growl escaped her throat when the half-llama couldn't be found and the fact this so-called "festival" wasn't really anything like the name. But one hundred years? She had to hand it to this place, that was a grand milestone. Shop now, cause some chaos and party later.
The thief took off to the nearest clothing shop, making a check list in her head, "Clothes, need a new cleaning kit, steal a bit more, grab some food..." with everything said she counted off on her fingers. "I think that's it, I'll probably bump into Kato anyway. All I need someone to help me carry everything." She went off, a smirk on her face and the mental gears working fast.

"becase you'v done it before" said Din "when" asked Mat.
"when we met the man with tale dont you remember?" asked Din walking past the wolf girl "you puled his tale soo hard that he hit the ciling" Din continued. "oh reight i remember now, that was great" said Mat and started laughing. "your a horrible man" said Din
"Shot up shorty" said mat and puncjed himself in the head.

"that lama over there with the man in the white coat".

"hay lama guy" he said agian when whe was close to him. "i wana buy your lama how much will it cost!" asked Mat in excitement.

A sly smile crept across Meijin’s face as he glanced over at Kato. The llama’s eyes grew wide as if to say “You wouldn’t!” Trivalu remembered the face of the man in front of him from the laughable scene in the “Drunken Roger” that morning. “I’m sorry, sir. This llama is not for sale. It’s my pet.” Kato sighed in relief as his new acquaintance saved him yet again. “I’ll pay whatever you want for it!” said the prospective buyer. The Triviamaster’s hand stroked his chin thoughtfully as he watched the llama sweat. “I'm sorry, but I don't have the proper authorization to sell this llama." Another sigh of relief came from Kato as Meijin changed the subject. "You wouldn’t happen to know anything about this, would you?” questioned Trivalu as he flashed his white bandana invitation card and removed his journal from his white trench coat.

Sakurai slammed his palms down on the counter of the music store. "GIMME!" he shouted, startling the owner. "THAT BASE!" he pointed at a certain instrument on the back wall. "THOSE DRUMS!" he pointed his thumb over his shoulder, towards a set on display. "AND THIS SAX!" he presented a sexophone he picked up on the way to the counter. He grabbed a few beginner's musicbooks called "ABC's of Do Re Mi's". The owner squirmed as the merman apparently looted his shop, and inched towards the back door. Sakurai rustled around in his pockets and rolled a few pearls on the counter. "That should be about right! Come on! Pack it up! I have to have the band ready by tonight!"
Hidden under the mountain of instuments, Sakurai jogged through town. Arriving at the scenes, he dumped all the instruments and left a note "Steal my band's stuff and die horribly! Love Sakurai Oh-Nagi, Merman Electro-Bard!" Now I just need to see that cloaked woman from last night... ah yes...
Sakurai started swaying, snapping his fingers to an unheard rythm, tapping his foot as the humming of electricity got louder. "Phantom!" he vanished in a flash. In four minutes and two seconds, he had been throughout town, ending up before the cloaked woman he saw yesterday. All the other people had seen was a black-bluish blur. "YOU!" he exclaimed as he ended up before the Siren, grabbing her shoulders with an excited smile. "YOU MUST JOin my baaa-nd...." Sakurai seemed dizzy and started tilting forward. "Using... Phantom... too long..." he muttered.

Meijin gazed through his sunglasses at the man in front of him with a raised eyebrow. This person’s mannerisms changed and quite quickly, which could only indicate one thing. Writing in his journal, he put down “Mat / Din” in one of the blank headings and underneath in large letters wrote “SCHIZOPHRENIC.” To anyone who didn’t notice this fact, two outstretched hands would look like a hug was in order. Luckily, Trivalu knew what was going on and crossed his arms so he could shake both hands at once.
Now that the semi-awkward handshake was out of the way, the Triviamaster gave some introductions “You can call me Meijin “Triviamaster” Trivalu. This llama here is Kato and he’ll also be in our crew. I can see why you’d think that I’d be the captain since I’ve been wearing a white bandana for the good part of today. Also, I used to have a crew of my own until they mutinied and left me on an island to rot.”
“As for my post, I’m not really sure. I can build a pretty good boat, so I could be a shipwright, but there’s probably a better chance that I’ll be first mate, due to my past leadership skills.” Meijin looked over at Kato and said, “I’m not really sure what Kato’s skills are, but I’m sure they’re just as equally important as anyone else’s.”
Trivalu thought to himself, Now I know five names. The picture is becoming clearer now. With each piece of information, the goal becomes within reach.

Kato?
Looking to the where the name came from you'd see a llama, a man with sunglasses, and a third man who looked normal; and that was exactly what the young lady thief saw. Aah, so he is a llama, Kuro thought to herself. I'm not sure of who the other two are, maybe they're his friends? She slipped the coins into a leather pouch, which she would use soon, ran a hand through her hair and walked over casually. With a smile, she ran a hand down the llama's head, petting him gently, "Kato... I've been looking for you, I was afraid you got lost." She then brought her attention to the two men and set her hands on her hips, quirking a brow, "So, who are you two?"

Offline
A familiar face came into view as she ran a hand through her golden hair and walked over to where the three were standing. After petting the llama and voicing her concern, she put her hands on her hips and asked, “So, who are you two?”
In this situation, Meijin had the upper hand. He had observed her in the crowd and at the bar the night before. Also, this was the first time where Trivalu actually knew someone’s name before they had to tell him. “You must be Kuro,” the Triviamaster said as he extended his hand for a handshake. “I’m Meijin “Triviamaster” Trivalu, and this guy is Mat and Din. I’m assuming you already know our furry companion, Kato.”
The Triviamaster flicked out his white bandana invitation card as he said, “I figured that we’d better get to know each other since we’ll be sailing for a while, am I right?”
