It it's about joining a RP, look at what everyone else is doing in the forums and go from there.
Most likely you're gonna have to create a character using one of the many Character Sheets around on this forum.

Why don't you start there and make a character just like everyone else did in that thread.

well worst comes to worst mate you could allways just join in an rp (after youve posted your details of your character to the finding nakama thread that you desire) and read through a lil and give it a shot i mean im sure that there are many people here who are more than welcome to help you along the way and if your post is really bad in the rp then you could always delete it or if you think your beggining to get the hang of it just edit it

p.s dont join in unless you've bin accepted of corse lol

may be tempted to join a rp... to tired to sort through which ones are still looking for people atm.... maybe in the mornin...

anyways here's a quick draft of a character design... decent length... but i got lazy like 1/4th into it and cut alot of stuff out.

Name: Ura Koenig
Height: 5’4
Weight: 130
Age:  23
Sex:  Male
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Black

Description – A very slender, medium height, so effeminate that he is almost always considered a girl at first sight. He raven black hair sways across his back in a pony tail. He is always very clean, usually sporting a loose v-neck, blue sleeveless shirt, a pair of tight black cloth pants, with a white sash around his waist holding sheaths 2 and 3 on his left side and 1 on his right side. On his right arm a shoulder length gantlet glove with 2 integrated steel chains in the fabric. His shoes are 1 inch heeled black laced boots that merge into his pants.

Weapons – 3 sheaths and a bladeless/nameless sword. The handle has a fancy design, engravings of wind, earth, and water engraved in a circular pattern along the hand position. The button caps off with a flat edge where the 3 patterns intertwine. The hilt is minimal outpouring from the elemental engravings that extend slightly downward half an inch to cover over the sheath and hold it in place.

1st sheath is made up of pure steel mined and refined over the various generations; it is solid gray linear form with quad rising imprinted concaves engravings along the sides. 2nd sheath is made from iron cloud, due to the difficulty of forming this metal the sheath is fairly simple solid white linear tube. 3rd sheath is made up of sea stone; this is a solid rectangular plain sheath though water is kept inside the sheath as well. All the sheaths have at roughly 3 inches from the opening hilt; engrave a mended cloth handle piece.

Biography – Born on deep inland on of the larger sub-continents on north blue, pirates were the least of his or his families concerns as he grew up. His parents died from causes not explained to him while he was a still a newborn, he was instead raised by his grandfather on his fathers side, a blacksmith. His life was fairly simple, help with the forge work, eat, and enjoy life. Though he was always curious why his grandfather made him promise never to wield a blade and also refused to make weapons even when the king himself came to request them. This however was kept out of discussion with him and his grandfather Ivan, though his grandmother Yumi on his mothers side would often argue with him about it... seeing as she owned a run down dojo in the town. One day the creations of his grandfathers life came back to haunt him, as war broke out with a neighboring country, the truth came out... when the village was attacked, during a argument between the leader of the invading army and Ivan, Ura’s parents were killed by this very man, years ago during border skirmishes, wielding a weapon made from none other then Ivan himself, the battle was decided by the blade as the warriors were clearly were even in terms of strength, Ura’s father’s blade shattering in mid battle only to die. The remainder of the event was a blur as the last thing he remember was attack the man… failing in ways that he would rather not remeber… until he somehow managed to cut the man’s face with a his butter knife, after that everything went black. As he awoke… he was surprised to find the corpse of the man...under none other then grandmother Yumi. It turns out that Yumi was Ura’s father’s teacher as well… and had always regretted that she had let him run off to do battle while still in training… Though held away from teaching Ura due to what had happened to his father and mother. To say the least the rest became history as Ura’s grandparents reconciled, and Ura began his training under Yumi, though due to his promise with his grandfather he vowed to never wield a blade. Though with none other then his grandfather’s help and Yumi’s teachings he found his own way to fight. He would embark at the age of 18 with a farewell to the graves of his grandparents and parents, choosing to travel around the world, place to place as whatever paid his bills… though always following his own path of justice.

General Abilities –

Zettaireido Iai Ittoryu – it’s a no sword/blade sword style that relies on the ki of the wielder to be compress through the designed sheaths (though any sheath would work... typical ones would shatter from the force) and to strike out as an instant draw technique the ki of the wielder replicating a weapon using an element as a focus.

Nigentaki Saya – dual wielding the scabbards as his weapons, the hilt of the nameless sword rests in the right side sash location, this is part of the sword style but a variation he uses often depending on the circumstances.

Feeling very upset (i must admit i was in tears as soon as i had read the post) with the comment and ashamed that i had used an avatar used by someone else I deleted the post this refers to.  I also deleted nearly all other posts because of how i felt.  Having had a nights sleep I realised that this probably makes me look like i am guilty or a thief. So i am just quickly posting my defence here.  I found the avatar on a site which had avatars and i thought the idea of the site was that anyone could use these pictures as an avatar in forums.  There were very few avatars the correct size for this forum and this is a reason why the picture i chose, which of course has now been deleted from the forum and my computer (and the recycle bin has been emptied using a data shredding program, I dont have a link to the site either so I cannot get access to the gif again).  Being new to the site and having made few posts I did not know it was someone else's ex-avatar and I wish to apologise to Random Guy ZT for using the avatar and to all people on this forum since the post made by Cap'n Jefu makes me feel alot of people using this forum will feel i have done something very wrong for which i must apologise.  I also feel grateful that the fact i am using someone else ex-avatar but wish it could have been done in a less public way.

After this post i will not post on this forum or any forum for a while (although i will look in over the next month to see what other people are posting).  Not until i can make my own avatar, i have been looking for progams to use and not being very good at computing it will take a long time.  Also i only have definite contact to the internet until the start of december because my landlord is evicting me cos he has sold the house i live in and i have no where else to go so will be asking my local government officials to agree to help re-house me because i am a chronically ill, disabled person too vulnerable to live on the streets, and this housing situation is of course making me more emotional than usual hence why i had such an extreme reaction to this post.  However whether they accept to help me or not after the evition date i do not know where i will be and if i will be able to access the internet.  This means i am having to pack up all of my possessions which takes alot of time and effort and gives little time to learn how to use software, hence it will take quite a while to learn to create my own avatar.

Once again I wish to apologise to all.  Wish to compliment K-F for all the great work they are doing on creating these wonderful One Piece Fan Subs, which enable me to watch such a great anime (I am learning Japanese but being only a beginner i can only recognize the odd word but watch One Piece to both enjoy the animation and to help listen to Japanese to aid with my studies which have been put on hold because of my housing situation.)  I dont know when i will be posting again but i will of course keep an eye on the site, alot of the posts are very interesting.  Finally I apologise that this post if totally off topic but I felt i should publically apologise for using someone else's ex-avatar since it was publically announced that i had used this avatar.

WHOA now. I'm not sure if this is 100% sarcastic or you're really upset but I wasn't saying it was a BAD thing. In fact, I'm sure nobody cares that you used that avatar and I'd bet Random grabbed it from the same site you did.

I was merely stating a fact that you had picked the same avatar he had used for a long time previously and that it should be looked into (meaning that someone should ask Random if he created it or stole it himself).

I meant NO ill intent and was merely mentioning it, heh.

Having read responses to my post I felt i must write a response.

I wish to say thanks to Random Guy ZT in helping clear up the issue, yes that was the avatar we are/were talking about but I won't be using it as i say I will wait until i can create my own to hopefully ensure this problem does not come up again.  But also it will leave time for the dust to settle.  It is nice to hear that the avatar is available for use but i think with all the trouble i seem to have caused in using it I will wait 'til i can make my own. BTW I think your current avatar is great !

To Cap'n Jefu I want first to state there was no sarcasm in the statement (i am too honest, too concerned about the feelings of others who may react badly to what I had written in jest and too literarily inept to be sarcastic in such a way), it was written in all honesty, and my reaction is a combination of two things, firstly i am majorly stressed at present because as i mentioned i am being evicted from the place were i live and have no idea were i will be living from 7th dec onwards and not being well this adds to the stress.  But also one problem i have at times found with the internet is that an important side of human communication which is the body language and tone in which the words are said and so misunderstandings easily occur.  I am sure all concerned will agree the situation is resolved, I am fully aware that the rules state that this is not a place for problems between members and i dont think that there are any problems just a mistake and a misunderstanding and misreading of a post by myself all of which has now been cleared up. 

Of course if such an event happens again (and if i make my own avatar i hope it won't) i would personnally prefer someone to use the Personal Message funtion rather than post, however I cannot speak for other people and do not advocate any particular way of doing anything especially since i am a newbie and so do not yet fully understand this forum's etiquette, I also do not wish to cause any offence or incur the wrath of anyone.  I will make sure to learn about how to read and reply to use messages so that once i can become a more active forum member again I can be contacted in such a manner.

I must now get back to my darn packing, being as anything i own has to be sorted in to items i will need if i am put in some form of temporary housing which i am told could be indefinite if the council acceps to take on the responsibility of rehousing me (ie 6 mths to about 50 years considering my age), other items to store.  Items too big to store or not really needed to be thrown out.  And of course a written list of all items.  What happens if the council refuses to rehouse me well i guess everything gets thrown away and i freeze on the streets I will not know whether the council will help me until the end on november and then were i will be living until a day or so before i am homeless.  And like my previous statement I am not being sarcastic (in regards to the housing situation I wish i was being sarcastic but with 32 days left, from the date of this post, before i have no-where left to live the last thing i am being is sarcastic), just totally truthful.

Anyway back to my previous plan of waiting to post until i can make my own avatar.  Back to that packing (Grrrr I am so sick of packing now I have been packing and sorting for days now and it gets boring after a couple of weeks).

ehh... what's with this section of forum "FIND NAKAMA" sorry but i cant really understand what people are doing here? Ehm, i want to join but i found this sticky thread hoping to find any helpful post explaining certain things about this part of the forum. I guess it's fun but im a bit confused how this thing works.
