Ellie stared up at the ship, still indecisive.  She had things in her own little boat that she needed, so she always had the option of turning her back to the crew... but something was calling to her to just come aboard the ship and find her way to wherever L.T.-sama was going to take them.  And besides, everyone looked nice enough... for strange pirates.  Taking a deep breath, Ellie slowly walked forward before climbing up the side of the ship, vaulting over the edge of the deck before landing and looking around.  It wasn't a large ship, that was for sure, but it was much better than her little dingy.

"I'll join you L.T-sama," she said, voice wavering slightly as she spoke.  "It would be dangerous to proceed without a doctor... so I'll stay and make sure everything is all right," she chanced a small smile, still trying to will the steel slowly creeping along her skin to go away.  She could feel the skin on the sides of her legs shifting as well, almost bonding to the thin strips of metal strapped to the inside of her pants.  She tilted her head to the side, thinking back on her new captain's words as well as what she knew of the Davy Back Fights she had witnessed over her years of travelling.  Giving what she knew of the fights, it was a three coin game with a captain versus captain fight and a Groggy Ring battle prefered as two of the three.  While she didn't really like fighting pointlessly, she knew that her Devil Fruit ability would be useful in defense in the Groggy Ring.  "I-I would be willing to participate in a Davy Back fight, Boss-san," she said, unconsciously holding her herbs closer to her body.  "I-It would probably be best, since we could both win a ship a-and become known in the pirate world," she didn't mean to stutter, but it just came out.  She hadn't said so much to one person in a very long time.

Looking from Ellie to LT El said "I'm fine about either course we take but there is no way I'll be able to compeate in a Davy Back Fight. Something like that is just out of my league. And if everything goes wrong in this Davy Back Fight I'll be off to find my next commision. I suppose thats fair"

Relaxing now that she said her peice El looked around at the rest of the 'crew' and began to wonder what the rest would say

Mariella sat, watching the others, listening to the conversation, it was a while before she spoke. "While I am unlikely to be much help in any direct physical competition, I believe the Davy Back is best way to go about this, in fact I believe we are well suited to this. If all goes well, we get  a ship for free, that the previous owners can't try and reclaim outside of a Davy Back without losing face." Mariella paused briefly before continuing. "Now if the worst were to happen, well, this is the least painful point for any one to leave a crew. We haven't had any grand adventures together, we don't yet have fond memories, we have no treasure to divide, I at least don't have a bounty, though I can't say the same off the top of my head about any of you, and we are not anywhere particularly dangerous." Stretching a little, she covered her mouth with one hand as she yawned, before saying "If you will all excuse me, I am in need of rest." Bowing her head slightly to the others, before wandering off to find a sleeping place.

"Damn boy, thinking he can just order us around... after this Davy Back Fight, I think that fan wielding boy will have an accedent, one that will cost him his life." The captain then headed inside to his room, but when he was neer the door he was pulled from behind by his first mate "WAIT" he yelled at the captian "Think about his clearly".
"ABOUT WHAT!" shouted the captian in anger
"ABOUT WHAT WE CAN GAIN" shouted the first mate back "you'v seen this guy fight, he'll win us this Davy fight"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FIGHT I'M GOING TO KILL THAT FAN WILDING WIND-BAG!" shputed the captain
"We can get new crew members" said the first mate, holding the enraged captain "then we could finish him"
"Now i see what you mean!" said the captain happly an evil grin crossing his mouth "a strong pirate gotta have a good crew! that's why you'r my first mate always thinking things through"

Rez climbed aboard the ship behind everyone else and stayed quiet for a moment.  At the mention of Ellie's devil fruit ability Rez says, "Ahh who would have guessed?  Too good to be true, pretty and smart, but then the devil fruit ability....  perfect!  What next?  Can you read minds and turn lead into gold too?  Just kidding, just kidding!  I have to admit though, you are one of a kind, to put it one way."

"LT, I'm gonna have to agree with everyone on this, the fights will probably be best in this situation.  It provideds publicity as Ellie said, and the ship wouldn't be contested after that, it would without a doubt be under your command.  And it gives another opportunity..." He flips his hair out of his eyes, so he can make a moment of eye contact with LT before his eyes are veiled again.

"I volunteer for the fight, assuming you have no objections.  I'll use this to determine if I join your crew for sure or not.  Not merely based on the win, but on the fight itself.  I want to see how exactly this crew fights its battles.  I apologize if I'm sounding high and mighty, I don't mean to, but it's just what I do."

All spots in the Davy Back Fight seemed to be filled. But who were they up against? There was a rumour about the Windmill pirates being in the town. ‘Hopefully not…’ Daniel thought as he silently started making his way towards the “Golden Jolly Roger” hotel.
Though the whole affair seemed interesting, there was no doubt that Daniel had never done this under normal circumstances.

At the hotel, Daniel nervously ordered a juice without looking at the bartender. He hated alcohol and especially the effects of it so a juice would be the natural choice.
Daniel wasn’t sure when the others were coming, so he decided to order another juice. Today, the juice had a special taste, it was perfect.
After the fifth juice, Daniel was feeling strange. He actually had the courage to ask the bartender: “What kind of juice is this…?” The bartender answered that it was sake mixed with juice. “WHAT?!” Daniel screamed out.
After arguing with the bartender, he swiftly seated himself in the sofa near the bar. Alcohol and he was no good combination. From what he had heard, on his early days, he became a talkative idiot when drinking alcohol.

Heading into the hotel El saw the marksman sitting by himself. Looking around noone else from the 'crew' had arrived yet so what money would be left from paying this tab with Rez off wouldn't leave her with much, 'maybe I can get the marksman to get me a couple'. Walking up to the bar El ordered a pint and headed over to the marksman.
     
Asking the marksman "Hi I'm Elena, you must be the marksman who also joined with LT who may you be and what reason you join for." she sat down on the sofa opposite him.

Rez strolled down the street in his usual lackadaisical manner.  He smiled at the thought of the upcoming challenges.  It would be a good way to loosen himself up after months of work.  The sky was still dark in the night and few people were still moving about on the streets.  He patted down his chest pocket, checking for his knife.  'I know it's always there.  I would never get so careless as to lose that particular piece of cutlery. Although if I did, I'm sure I'd go ballistic.' He laughed quietly to himself.  He adjusted his vest so it fit tighter to keep the night chill away.

As he walked along he walked by a corner, passing by what appeared to be a confused looking ossan carrying a shield on his back.  Ignoring him, Rez followed his path toward the hotel.  After turning a few more corners Rez thought to himself, 'You know, that guy looked a lot like LT.  Naa couldn't be, no way he could simply have gotten lost going to a place that he himself told us to meet.  Must be some other weirdo.'  And with that he was already too far off to check back on the man.

L.T. turned around, saw the musician, and ran over and lifted her with both arms. "I'm glad I could find someone I know." He said, spinning her around in his arms. He put her down, coughed, and said, "Thanks... I guess I should appolgize for the entire thing... well, lead the way Mariella." L.T. said, waiting for her to lead the way.

L.T. looked at Mariella, and thought about what she said. "Don't worry about it, I wasn't always the most helpful person either." L.T. smiled and put a hand on her shoulder, listening to the music. "Don't worry, I can train you, it might be hard a times, and sometimes it might be a bit confusing, but by the time I'm done, you will be a great fighter." L.T. said, and then thought and added, "What weapon would you want?"

''Hey!'' said Hayato walking next to the two. ''Let's do this.''  he said with a grin.

L.T. jumped slightly as Hayato happened to appear from no where. "WHere did you come from?" He asked, looking at the swordsman. "I mean... I've been gone for about an hour, and you happen to just randomly walk into us... creepy." He said, shaking his head.

"The marksman of marksman is one hell of a title to give yourself Daniel, and the shot you made ealier was impresve worthy of that title. But it is a good reason to join for." Taking a good draw on her pint and waching Daniel's eyes roll around the room El knew he was drunk but continued anyway. "I don't quite know why I joined but I suppose it's cause LT was the first to ask and I suppose because it's starting to get boring here reparing the same ships under new flags."

Finshing her pint El looked at Daniel and asked "Can I get you a coffie or do you want something else?"
