About ps3 games... I must admit it, I'm strange with games... only play a few (like Final Fantasy series, for example).
I only have got Heavenly Sword, good game but too short , Genji: Days of the Blade, I totally love this one! (don't ask me why XD) and Motorstorm, that really sucks! Played it like two times and... forget it LOL

My type of games are the RPG ones I think... oh! and the fighting ones!

Has anyone else played Tekken online and wondered how long it would take to get those scores that the top people have.

As for my PSN name, it is extremely original................ okay it's the same name I use for everything (looks at username) I never use a different name. Unless it's for the cisco website or anything to do with uni of course.

I'm really against the PSTriple, I think the console itself is enough to represent the "Sony" company. In 2 or 3 years I think there will be enough games for it to make it a worthwhile console for your money.

The innovation isn't there in the console, the number of games lack, the price is dreadfull and of course the online play just isn't that great. Though this is only my opinion.

I still have some downloads for it, and if you give you login info to people they can download it for free. But you only get so many downloads, kinda like the demonoid invite thing.

I've tried the six axis controls, they are terrible and make the game feel un-natural and awkward. Seriously that was the last thing the console needed.
And yes eye of judgement is innovative, but come on, its one of the VERY FEW games that aren't relying on sequels for the PSTriple. Oh yeah is that the only innovative thing on the console for the console apart from EXXXTREME GRAPHICS and BLU-RAY PLAYER!!! ??? *yawns*

What the hell? I mean the console looks like a friggen George Foreman Grill (that gets dirty easy) and the price is over the top because of a pointless Blu-ray drive (that no one really cares for) that made it harder for PS1 +2 games to be compatible and so forth.

People say to me the Wii is a big gimmick, but really the PS3 is... "PS3: This is living!" What the hell, Living is spending your money on a worthwhile console that a wide audience can enjoy and afford with a wide range of games that are original and can be played on any colour TV.

Xbox 360 had the right idea releasing the HD drive separate, Wii didn't have a player which was even better, but PS3?.... yeah that helped your sales.

Not only that the games graphics (most of the time) are worse than the 360s ports, even though PS3 is supposed to be the most-recent and almighty powerfull jesus console.
Don't get me wrong, graphics are the main important thing, but you'd think that when you've spent that much that you would get the best graphics compared to it's competitors.
Even games companies are complaining that making games for the PS3 is too costly and time consuming working with the games building software, some said they were doubting making games because of the high and lengthy production and low sales.

They want one as they think because its a Sony, its the best!

Also is it true you have to buy extra fans to cool down the console? Someone told me theres like 4 slots for fans.

I do agree with the fact that the PS3 will get better, but there are already two other consoles that are more fun, PS3 needs catching up with thier games and fans... fast.

hehe dont worry rant whatever you want, that is what the forums are for.

But again, i have to disagree in some of the stuff you are saying, and just for the record, am not a sony fanboy, i own all three consoles and have all the big games for each one.

Being that said, i do thing the ps3 has actually many good thing going for them. Now, as you said, yes there are some terrible sixaxis apps, but am curious on what have you tried and said was horrible because there are many that are fun to use.

Now, regarding the HD thing, i actually just bought my HD tv, but i use the ps3 on a SD tv for month before i upgraded, and it looks the same way as 360 did on SD, but here is the problem with the 360, and that is that the early buyers were left out of the HDMI and even payed more for a console that gave that for "free" to people that bought the console way after, well, the good news is that if you get a RRoD might have a change to receive one with HDMI... and that is one thing that the 360 has very wrong, and that is quality... i mean, what is the most important part of having a console?... well, that is be abke to use it.. and i mean i had a 360 and i have had the RRoD 3 times now, and that is why is only use the 360 for the exclusives that i want to play on 360, or the Orage box that i was waiting on the ps3, which sucks because of the frame rate issue (we'll get to that after this), and am now afraid of it braking down on the middle of me playing and having to want 1 month to be able to play it again....

Now, it is true that some ports sucks because of frame rate drops on ps3, but that is not actually problem of the console, its actually problem of the programmers that have yet to understand the actual potential of the machine. Take Call of Duty 4 for example, one of the most complex and beautiful graphics out there, infinity ward ports to the ps3 flawless. In other words, it CAN be done, is just that they havent figure it out just yet, and we gotta remember, the 360 has been out there with a year's advantage.

The wii, i dont even want to go there because really i dont consider the wii to be actuall competence to the 360 and ps3, and not because is not good, but because is targeting a different demographic, which is more for casual gamers, so i consider the wii to always be there, and for that i mean that is a must have for different reasons.

Now, yes the ps3 looks like a grill... so... i dont think you buy a console because of how it looks...

And you know what the cool thing is about this generation of consoles?, is that there are actuall reasons of why you should own all three of them, all of them have the advantages and disadvantages, but at the end of the day they all complement each other very nice.

Its a good thing now that you have internet access with your ps3, so you can download all sorts of demos and see it you like it or not.. i actually have two different demos for folklore, but it think there is only one up, but its a good one. Also, to take advantage of free online capabilities.

If you don't like the games that are out, that's one thing, but innovation?

What's innovative about the 360? Charging people to play online?

There are badass innovations for PS3, one of my favs being remote access via PSP. You can turn on your PS3 at home from anywhere in the world and access your music, play PS1 and some PS3 games from any wi-fi hotspot.

I like how Sony is open to user-created content as well (*cough* unlike MS *cough*) LBP looks sweet and UT3 mod support is an awesome feature too.

The recent DivX/WMV support is great too, not innovative, but PS3s all have a HDD, so fill it up with fansubs!

And anyone who thinks all SIXAXIS games suck hasn't played High Velocity Bowling!

You guys should all get Devil May Cry 4 when it gets out.
Ive been waiting for this one for a long time.

Besides that I cant find any use for the PS3 except for the blu-ray, HD-DVD, FF games, Tekken and Kingdom Hearts.

Don't get me wrong I loved the PS2 more than the others and hated the Xbox. It's just the games and online play on the 360 make up for innovation (not to mention live arcade), an area where the PS3 lacks.
I still think there's more negatives than positives in the PS3 than the rest.

Ah well, there are things I'm more against than the consoles... and thats W.o.w players... ESPECIALLY the ones who go to a PC gaming place to play it £3 an hour they altough they already pay for the account subscription. I mean why pay to play when your already paying to play!?!? lol

I think the reason why I hate Sony so much is that they took away the generation of where Nintendo was the bees-knees, even though Sony don't concentrate on the games whereas Nintendo do, which means Nintendo work more, especially for the fans.
It's cause I'm happy Sony are getting a taste of thier own medicine for a change, they expect the console to be a hit because thier brand name is on it, but no it really doesn't cut the cheese.

also PS1 games are starting to trickle out in the States (got Wild ARMs the other day) and you can buy badass games off of the JPN store as well like the Samurai Spirits series ^^

XBL is much more established than PSN, I mean it's only about 1 year old. I have confidence that there will be more killer appz hitting PSN in '08 though.
