This episode is from the time One Piece was still 'the best'. I am still sad that One Piece currently (with it's 'one manga chapter per episode-policy') isn't close to what it once was..
But with this episode I can truly be proud of One Piece! Thanks for 234. ^^

You mean it becomes like Naruto Shippuden? Ew.
The story in Naruto's alright, it just drags out way too much.

No, it never becomes as bad as Naruto Shippuuden. Whereas a single Naruto manga chapter can be 70% ellipses and reaction shots, a lot actually happens in a One Piece chapter. So even though the anime does eventually slow down to one chapter per episode, it's still not drawn out like Naruto (and the little bit of extension filler Toei adds in is often pretty entertaining).
