Im considering getting a tattoo that relates to Zoro but not a definite link, anyone know some cool Zoro art that i could take from to incorporate into it?

i have 3 piercings in my left earlobe though, so who am I to judge? =p

I've been thinking the same thing you were, and I finally settled with a OP style Jolly Roger. Just gotta wait till I have 300 dollars to throw away

Have you thought of Zoro's Jolly roger? You could get a more realistic skull so Non OP fans won't need to know what it is

if ur just considering zoro then i will say this:
dont get something ur gonna regret. unless you dont care what people say/think
if like Nguyen said u can always make something that would look cool anyways

i also like crossbones idea of the stitches =3

IMO here are some ideas for you
(in order of my own preferance)

1. The stitches
2. Nyugen's idea wit the skull
3. 3 swords(unseathed) that are the ones zoro are using
4. zoro's bandana on the arm

like u said u were only thinking of a zoro one.

if you were going for just OP related I'd say

1. Franky's Stars
2. Luffy's afro tatoo on his chest (cept smaller unless u want it that huge)
3. Ace's happy/unhappy face on his hat
4. The X they use for the Arabasta Arc
5. Arlong's Tattoo

i cant think of anything else

I wouldn't do the Alabasta X or Franky Stars because its easier to regret what you can't conceal

Nami's tatoo is a bit feminine, but Arlong's won't be bad. Can I presume that you are male?

Do you know where you want the tattoo? and is this your first one?

If you are going to someone with actual skill a badass skull inspired by Zoro's flag would be cool. Perhaps in a far more "realistic" style. It would require a good artist to not look lame (although I feel that way about any tattoos).

Having homeage-tattoo's isn't that big of a chance if what your tattooing really has had an impact on your life. And One Piece could easily have that impact on minds in todays society, with their "Nakama" and "Adventureous life" and everything in between.

But as for what to chose, I don't know. The three katana idea is good. I wouldn't go for a jolly roger. Seriously, some authorites might be paranoid enough to react to it.

You'd look straightedge if you got the X from the arabasta arc.
A One Piece tat would be pretty sick though. Been trying to think of what I want for my next one, don't think it'll be One Piece, but that would be a cool idea for the future :p

whatever you do, don't tattoo it on a place you can't conceal. Tattoos do not make a good impression during a job interview.

I got the 'X' from the Arabasta arc along with a few of my friends and I'm not even beggining to regret it. Only educated people will assume it means straight edge. Since I live in the bronx in new york, I usually get the stupidness like 'x marks the spot?' Or 'Wheres the "O"?'

I would suggest the X if it means as much to you as it did to me. But all the others sound awesome as well. Specially Zoros face on your chest.

me and my buddies were originally going to ape the arabasta X with the Kaze symbol as a memorial tat for a friend of ours, but three of us ended up getting it on our left shoulders. a few years later, i'm planning to incorporate it as a part of a much larger back piece, kinda showing how beauty and strength came from a period of extreme pain. will be, in point of fact, the greatest memorial i can think of to a life that was lost so young, to continue to live and be a good person.

in the meantime, one friend who was always selfish and a bit of a douche got it on his arm in the X spot, and we really haven't seen him since. so, yeah, feel kinda good that those of us who are sane and looked down the road a bit didn't get it in that particular area. not to condescend to your friends, Monkey. you guys must have a stronger bond than we ever had even in our grief.

Me and one of my online friends, that we first met each other like 4 years ago in a One Piece rpg. We both want to get a One Piece character tatoo respent of characters, since She was Nami, and I was Usopp in the rpg. If ever meet each other in real we both were go out and get each other tatoo of Nami and Usopp to respent of friendship. ^_^.
