I just wanted to give everyone a little update. As you may or may not know, Movie 8 aired between 298 and 299 so that's what we're working on now. Since it's 90 minutes long and a retelling of Arabasta, we have our work cut out in terms of getting it all finished and polished, so please be patient. We are however concurrently working on the re-haul of episode 6 and 210 HD as well, so hopefully it won't be exactly a dry spell the whole way.

UPDATE: So yeah, it's been several weeks now. The movie is pretty close to being finished though. I can say that a significant amount of that time is due to the fact that it's basically like working on 5 episodes at one time, along with a new song to karaoke and comparison to the episodes that covered the material. Also we don't have our old attack fonts etc. for Crocodile so we're having to recreate that.

But I also mentioned a rehaul and 210 HD, and that just hasn't come together. Our staff has been really busy. I'm glad we went on a release spree earlier in the year when we were a lot less able to crank out the episodes. Thanks for waiting guys.

If it's the next Movie, we are extra-patient - but is it true, that the raw-capper of the re-airing stopped and you don't get further raws?

The movie is from a Bluray source by the way, so it looks quite nice.

Yes, although some raws have been surfacing on Japanese P2P that go beyond the TV-J capper. Right now we have secured up through 231, thanks to jimilegolas for the heads up and for sharing as well. ^^

sweet, while you may be behind on the episodes, atleast you seem to do them all and in superior quality and not to mention got the naming down (meaning using marines and not navy like a certain group does) which is why you are my prefered choice subs

nice to see there is some update. thanks ^^. looks like Movie 8 will be released first than the rehaul and 210.

oh is that mean you also recreate attact font for any BW agents, too?

Not sure yet about BW, we have a new "standard" font for them but maybe we can do some slightly more individualized fonts for the movie

I know you guys have been really busy as of late, have you ever considered recruiting some backup fansubbing staff to try and pick up the slack when you get swamped?

The problem is finding people with the proper skills, who produce quality work, and are reliable enough to get brought into the process. Then managing them and hoping they don't bail and waste everyone's time.

I appreciate all the hard work you do in making sure every bit of One Piece is eventually done. Honestly though I don't care much about movie 8 because it was released here on dvd and blu-ray and therefore I could just watch it that way, but I guess it'd still be nice to archive your release as well to have a complete set

What I'm most looking forward to is some quick batches of the HD versions of 210-260.

I can barely stand the hair and stench of one cat. Gathering multiple for a tiered tournament would get to crazy cat lady odor in no time.

A better idea would be to resurrect the old 'lesbians 4 dythim' concept. Expand it to other members. It involves gathering donations and hiring teams of hot lesbians to act as maids for the fansubbers.

It's an idea that, for some reason, gets lots of support, enters rapidly into the research phase, and never moves past...
