this week was almost not disappointing the next ch will seal the deal on this one. , if he doesn't give an explanation of that sword that emo boy got stabbed with, I think that may drop him back down in rank, rather than boost him like he hoped.  as well as an explanation for the new look.

All this sposed training ment nothing just "blam" let's give ichigo his powers back or whatever.
How does kubo manage's to undo his own work like this is beyond me.

(edit) just noticed what I'm sure is gonna be an epic plot hole....ichigo's human body is fucked no question about it with gingays sword having raped him to high heavens, now with IT being against ichigo she won't heal him.. so ignoring that no human body (even in bleach) can survive such punishment he surely has only moments till his body dies?

Can't wait to see how this pans out....hmmmm

it looks like the chest wound is superficial and was only meant to steal his F.B. 

one good thing that happened for bleach this week was a manga that out ranked it finished this week so it may get more votes just from it not being in wsj anymore.

in all honesty im not trying to be uber negative all the time, it just pisses me off so much when someone like T.K. who clearly has talent is doing so poorly, and that's partly his editors fault as well.  truth be told I think he should just end bleach in a timely manner, and work on something new, he's falling into a very predictable pattern of a story line, normally that's not a problem if the story is complex like OP.  however with the simple story of bleach you can't hide it well and even new CH feel old and rehashed.  and is even worse when the simple story has plot holes and unexplained bits.

I don't think theres really a problem with predictability here since Bleach has always been predictable but that seems to be a working formula since its been going for 10 years. Furthermore as a mangaka I think you want to give the fans what they want and not worry about everything else. People wanted Rukia to be back and was hoping she was the mysterious shinigami a while back and wanted Ichigo to regain his powers and thats exactly what we got, even though it was predictable as hell. Im sure when people read this chapter, a majority of them said "Yaaay Rukias back and Ichigo got his powers back" rather than "Laaaame everyone knew this was gonna happen Bleach sucks".

I think it's just a recreation of Rukia giving some of her power to Ichigo, only this time she's guarded against losing all of her powers. Why it changed slightly? It's probably because Urahara made the sword Rukia stabbed him with, so he looks slightly different now because of it. No Jump next week sucks though.

edit: the forum is going all screwy and this showed as a double post up there (2692-3) so I deleted one, which deleted the only one really there.

Considering the pointless red tape that is involved in Soul Society (e.g. They take a month to follow a lead on a missing person, months to execute someone, and sit around discussing shit like an episode of Star Wars), it makes sense that Rukia would only now get permission to stab him.

Well it looked really pretty...

10 years huh?  Seems like a lot longer than that.

Since Uraharas deus ex katana has been around since the beginning of the arc I don't think Ginjou and Tsukishima is just gonna be scrapped making the arc a waste of time; and seeing how everything is just repeating form when Bleach started, a gargantas prolly gonna open up and take Ginjou and Tsukishima in or some shit where theyll meet Aizen who broke out of prison which is why everyone including Byakuya for some reason is giving Ichigo his powers back and the story will just go in an infinite loop with Ginjou and Tsukishima replacing Gin and Tousen and the rest of the fullbringers will either be the new espada or the new vaizards who will help Ichigo master his Fullbring/Hollow/Shinigami powers all at once to beat Aizen again.
