this one aired on japanese tv on august 20,and its 104 minutes long instead of 90
its HDTV and here are some comparison shots!!!

it has like 15 minutes extra of whiskey peak and some new scenes (i could tell cause of the movie 9 & 10 music) and some other stuff im unaware of

since you aim for the best stuff i thought id post this one

I think they will use a bluray rip for the main movie, but I agree that this Special TV Edition should be incorporated in some way to the upcoming release. Perhaps a separate "Special Edition" release?

I'm just saying because that extra 15 minutes may arguable be the best part of Movie 8 from now on.

The video is from real Japanese DVDs instead of bootlegs, the translation is improved, and the video compression is better. Maybe another couple things, but those are the main items.
