Uncharted is a good series for me to enjoy, but I always seem patient enough to wait for the price to drop. The same with Batman Arkham City. I guess I have a closer connection to underdog type of games.

Haven't seen it mentioned here but Skyrim is eating up a lot of my time since it came out; you can fight dragons, and get married - what's not to love? Maybe that you can't marry a dragon but apart from that its one of the most stunning games I've played. Its been 20 hours of play-time and I completely forgot about the main quests, the world is just that massive.

assassins creed revelations will be out in less than an hour here, already out in other places i guess but either way.

Indeed skyrim is eating away my sparetime
Only lvl6 so far so got a looooooooooong way to go but its awesome as expected.
I even forced myself to return to U3 to finish it but after the horseback part in chapter 20 guess what I did..... ![]()
u3 is awesome, skyrim is godlike.

I haven't really gotten anywhere in Skyrim yet. Anyone familiar with the ES saga tell me if I need/would benefit from a primer and could give me a quick one? I get the feeling that continuity isn't discarded between installments.

You don't need to know anthing about the other games in the ES series to enjoy Skyrim. It just adds to it being familiar with some of the backstory to the world and the races as there are refrences troughout. Not a nessecity though;)
Im currently at lv 14 with my high elf Mage. Went straight to the mage college, which i felt was very short compaired to earlier, but it might be just because I allways quick-traveled back after completeing dungoens. Anyways, I am finding my full on destruction magic focus and companion is making me a bit too overpowered, I pretty much kill every dragon I encounter in 2 mins:P Ill probably turn up the difficulty setting.
I completed the college story-line and am currently starting up the main story, but I am unsure if I want to then continue on to do thiefs, dark brotherhood and whatever the fighting guild equivilant is with this character.. I sorta want to make my often used Dark elf Rogue-ish character for the first two and then a fighter for the 3rd.. just to have it all sort of make sense.. Then Ill have 3 different playstyles to choose between when wanting to explore.. Would be a bit odd doing thief stuff with my mage u know..

As state by Spike. You dont need to know the other games to enjoy this one.
however, if you wish to look up some strange reference you can probably find it here:

Im no lvl9 cat-rogue. Just roaming around a little. busy with my 3rd dungeon yet!
word of advise: Do not shoot at mammoths and giants when lvl 9
though the giant one is funny, it will kick you into the stratosphere giving your dead body a nice overview of the surroundings ![]()

Been a while K-F. So whats peoples opinions on dark souls eah? I know its been out for a while but Ive been going abit xbox mad since ive knocked the weed on the head and well lets say ive been making my way through the titles of "great october"!!!
Batman arkham city - such a brilliant game, honestly lived up to my expectations. No level of disappointment from my side.
Dark souls - Retro gamer/ hardcore gaming heaven.
Driver SF - good multi player, nice mix between arcade and some realism driving physics. Story was a let down, the boss O_o wtf was that seriously?
That COD game - Yay old school engines[/sarcasm] however its nice to have a game that plays online quite well compared to others (so far for me)
BF3 - Glitchy as hell but has much potential yet. (have not played much to be honest)
Forza 4 - Epic tyre physics and tuning capabilities (from someone in the racing world) and that jerermy clarkson does add a touch of class (But wheres my hardcore level of difficulty gone? AI is way too easy now)
Anywho anyone else got an xbox and wants to add me for any of the above online

Got early access to the Mass Effect 3 demo. It is so awesome. ^^
When you get to the point where you get to pick your skills I cheered " Holy Shit its an RPG again." Combat is improved over ME2. The backwards an sideways roll was a Godsend as a Vangard. Each class has new skills as well. I'm gonna go through the demo as all the dif classes an try them out.
Sadly EA won't turn on the multiplayer servers til the public demo is out so no info on that yet.
