as soon as I saw the flames I was reminded of the island blackbeard and crew were on when trading bonney for a marine ship but that island didnt have the old buildings if it did couldn't see it , im just thinking because blackbeard went to drum island , he was seen in alabasta he was in jaya and (to go after luffy) but he would of headed to water 7 now this "punk hazard" fire island possibly on the same route maybe?

But the Strawhats aren't currently on a route, especially if what smoker said is true, they simply saw an island nearby and Luffy decided they should go there.
To be honest I wanted them to meet up with Smoker, but not this soon. And what's with the scars? Ever since Impel down recurring character's have had a bunch of scars all over their bodies, but I suppose that shows just how much more brutal the "New Age" is becoming.

Considering the skull that appeared http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/59626333/18 and the warning sign http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/59626333/14 that kind of looks like little oars jr's flag http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/File:Oar … _Roger.PNG , could this an island of giants too?

I wonder if its a coincidence of this first appearance of the dragon in this chapter, since its the Year of the dragon.
hahaha, nice catch there.
I do hope the next arc gonna be a little better than the previous. I mean, the new fishmen pirates aren't really that strong to begin with. I'd like to see how much the strawhats have improved by pitting them against a much stronger opponents, perhaps the rookies from luffy's era. Well, they're not rookies anymore, obviously...
The clash between the strawhats against smoker's crew would probably be nice, considering both parties have leveled up.

Zoro earned the title of Dragonslayer.

Looks like they're releasing these chapters quite early lately.
Well the dragon didn't last very long, half of the crew is in trouble and Luffy is eyeing on recuiting a new member.

So much talk about possible new crewmates, and then out of a suddenly Luffy drops the J-bomb on some hairy legs in a half kimono.
Could this guy have some kind of DF that mimics DFs and he is currently stuck with Buggy's ability? It was hinted that Buggy might have become a shishibukai during the time-skip... But I don't remember Buggy being able to talk through his ass, so there's that.

It could also be something Trafalgar Law did. It would also explain the people in the gas suits. But why he would be a shichibukai, I have no idea.

Ok I can tolerate a cyborg and talking skeleton becoming part of the crew but a pair of talking legs? Please don't let it happen unless there's some backstory and he does have a top half somewhere.

I'm also very disinterested in this character- seems silly for silly's sake. I also feel bad for the dragon ![]()

"Two humans, a humanoid iron man, and a pet". No mention of, say, a skeleton with no lungs to be affected by sleep gas with.

I wonder if the Punk in "Punk Hazard" relates to Vegapunk. He was trying to develop a method for using geothermal heat to change the climate of a winter island--maybe this half molten/half frozen island is a result of a failed attempt at that.

Just notice that too. Prob Brook to save the day

Either this helps my theory that Buggy is now a Shichibukai and he somehow learned more about his powers that he can 'chop' other people, too(why the legs can talk, i don't know)
OR
Trafalgar Law has become a Shichibukai and used his powers on the guy, although I can't see him beeing a Shichibukai and leaving a guy with just his legs for no known reason right now. Law doesn't make sense.
OR
It's Doflamingo, and he used a different variant of his mysterious powers to 'chop' a person like Buggy can himself, and for some still unknown reason, the legs can talk.
I'm leaning more towards the Buggy part, cause I really want him to be a Shichibukai ![]()
EDIT: i was also much more acceptable of a dragon talking than a pair of legs talking. i don't know why they were freaking out so much that they thought a dragon could talk.

Clearly, Law chopped this guy in half, and chopped his mouth off. His upper half is currently missing, while his mouth was attached to his bottom half.
Or more accurately, I have no solid idea as of yet.
Im more interested on if this Punk Hazard is going to be a big arc (Alabaster/Skypiea/EniesLobby/etc) or a smaller one that ultimately builds on a future bigger one (LittleGarden/Drum/Jaya/Water7/etc)

I think it was buggy who was on the island or perhaps a new sichibukai? If it was true that vegapunk owned the island, wouldn't buggy not know about it? the other sichibukais surely knew about vegapunk whereabouts.Or maybe Law is a big fat liar.

hahaha but we do man! ... wouldn't Trafalgar's crew recognize SH's crew? and I don't think they would refer to them as "some pirates"...
it is intriguing what happened to this half samurai; let's see what the next chapter will bring us...

If any of these guys has huge, deformed knees, I am SO out of here. I have less to go on, but I'm standing by my guess that these guys are the Heart Pirates. As I recall, only Law's top men were with him at the human auction house, and the rest only ever saw Luffy.

I came to the same conclusion you did, and I have the same question. Why is Law a shichibukai? (If it turns out to be him). It makes sense that Law was offered a spot since he was part of the War of the Best along with Buggy.
I also think Buggy filled one of the shichibukai spots.
