Simple solution--if you love One Piece, stop supporting Viz. Stop buying their products and start sending them nasty letters. They need to know that all they're accomplishing is alienating their principal demographic.

Didn't know OP is on break this week.

not sure...lack of info all around. Not gunna post my sources for this incase Viz is tracking shit on the internet ![]()
but if this keeps going on ill have to go in hardcore mode and install mirc to get it from there. Havent done that in ages.

Well, Mangastream's J-preview reports One Piece is on break, that's evidence enough for me.

Aokiji. Aokiji is on this island. I know it's early, but he's the only reason I can think as to why there is a cold spot on this...
Wait...
WAIT!!!
Is this the island where Aokiji and Akainu had their duel!?!?
edit: Also, does it seem like Iceberg is a little confused as to why his new secretary is only 10? Do we know her from somewhere?
edit2: Oh, whatever happened here happened "4" years ago. Guess I got a little too excited.
Too excited you were not if the spoilers at AP hold up.

Oh yeah, I called it!
Now we just need to find a site where we can read the actual manga.

I don't see it either
... I guess smoker already realized that there is someone behind the poisonous gas leak, as he said that there was just too much ...

It's (or was) Vegapunks experimenting ground. Don't know why nobody called that sooner with the name "Punk-Hazard" hahaha
...But I guess that doesn't quite explain the samurai. That's just how samurai are. Duh. ![]()

The weird people on the island released the gas in an attempt to make the marines go away. They say so in the chapter.

I don't see it either. The leader looks like some sort of living liquid. One of Vegapunk's failed experiments perhaps?

I'm sure I mentioned Vegapunk and someone else did a fair few posts back..I'm still not entirely convinced that law is behind all of this..
edit1: There must be some relation to Vegapunk's failed experiment 4 years ago...

Punk Hazard...Former Marine Base? Former Marine Test Facility? Vegapunk?
There we go, I knew I mentioned it.

@WinCH, ampz9, LostPirate: Look closely at the bottom right corner. You'll see a shadowy figure standing beneath the melted metal. You can't make out any features, but he is clearly holding a large sword resting against his shoulder. Remind you of anyone?

You're stretching things a bit far with that one. Now, I'm not saying Law isn't involved, but that little figure is far more likely to simply be one of the masked minions holding his gun like the others. They show them up close at the top of the page in that exact same position.
Now, out of curiosity, has it been officially stated at any point since the time skip that Vegapunk still works for the WG?

Offline
I just saw that as a masked minion holding a gun too...if you look at the figure, you can see the massive backpack they all have...I do know where you're coming from though but agree with Razum, maybe stretching just a little bit. Master seem to refer to that weird floating fluid being...
Not sure regarding Vegapunk, can't see why he won't still be working for WG but yeah..

OK so... how is that pair of legs stuck to Luffy? Do things separated by whatever did that to the samurai just naturally gain the ability to adhere to things. It's pretty hilarious watching him walk around with "Leggy". He did seem to be stuck to the dragon earlier too.

Leggy didn't say a single word in this chapter.

Was pretty hilarious when Centaur Luffy "befriended" the other centaur.
Also, I'm thinking that there are two groups here for some reason...CC is the group to do with the Birdwoman and Centaurs but not sure it is the same group as the Gas men. Unless I'm remembering wrong as I don't recall the Gas men showing CC in any form..or did they also have a dendenmushi with CC on it?

Actually, you're right. The gas men have PH on their uniforms. It could be two divisions of the same organization, but it's possible that there's two parties in this story. And while I now realize that the Master's dialog was coming from the liquid substance, I still think Law's somewhere in this. Actually, I'm wondering if Law's going the Doctor Hogback route and these "mythic" creatures are some kind of experiment of his, using his Devil Fruit in new ways.
