Actually, you're right. The gas men have PH on their uniforms. It could be two divisions of the same organization, but it's possible that there's two parties in this story. And while I now realize that the Master's dialog was coming from the liquid substance, I still think Law's somewhere in this. Actually, I'm wondering if Law's going the Doctor Hogback route and these "mythic" creatures are some kind of experiment of his, using his Devil Fruit in new ways.

Wouldn't the more logical explanation be that the weird creatures are a result of the gas that's been emitting on the island due to Vegapunk's failed experiment? Only the animals have been affected because they have been on the island since the beginning. It was stated that the gas has subsided as of late, that's why it was chosen as a battle ground. I highly doubt this has anything at all to do with Law. Law just doesn't strike me as that type of character.

That would only be the case if the entire battle was a stalemate of powers on a grand scale. If they launched their strongest attack, then one fell from fatigue shortly afterwards, you'd still have the resulting half-climate.

Yea but Kuma is replaceable so he (IN one way or another) Is more then likely still a Warlord (Through one of the Pacifista's)

I'm starting to think that maybe there's some sort of Island of Dr. Moreau thing going on here.

I feel the need to say this again. Law's pirate symbol (that circle smiley face) is incredibly similar to Don Flamingo's. I still firmly believe Law has some relation to him (the biggest difference between the symbols is Don Flamingo has the face with a / across it where Law does not).

Either way, the only other places we've seen such a symbol was with Don Flamingo and the slave auction house that was owned by Don. If my theory is correct, I'd expect at least something from Don sometime this arc.

Also, since Law in answering the door of the research building and claiming it's his "vacation house", he's sure to be affiliated with PH in some way. Heck, pending on "master's" color he may even be Don (Yeah, I know, that's quite a long stretch there, but I'm saying it's a possibility with no real evidence against it at this point, not that it's likely).


On a side note, with Law confirmed as a Shichibuki, the original animal theme that had is gone ("Crocodile", Don "Flamingo", "Kuma", "Fish"man Jimbe, "Boa" Hancock, "Gecko" Moria, "Hawk"eye Mihawk). Yes, it was gone with Blackbeard, but he was a very temporary member.
