Sanji is either in heaven or in hell. It'll be interesting to see which one.

WARM CLOTHES!
Law the surgeon. I thought that was genius.
As said, Sanji's got his paycheck for being in hell,
and Brook, badass as ever.

wtf is law's power? It's very very odd to describe now- smoker's description is a little lacking. Also, isn't the centaur guy "brown beard" from a while back right after WB died? Which makes more confusion since didn't he get toasted by kidd? and that's leaving alone the centaur bit.
Brownbeard was last seen facing Basil Hawkins not Kidd. If that's really him how did he ended up there?
Law is being lenient with the SH crew compared to Smoker's marines. Law's new abilities are terrifying.

But... will Sanji be able to love Nami now that... she looks like... Franky... ?
Coolest Brook I've seen...

Great chapter with a lot of comedy (more to come on the next one
) ... what is Law hiding/doing on this island? what is he defending? developing? will he welcome Luffy? or fight him?
Not sure why the change in hearts would change the personality? (unless it was just a representation) but it would have made more sense to swap brains? but not sure where this is going (comedy for sure
)

Was discussing things with one of my buddies and we came to the conclusion that the "master" might be Magellen (spelling? the ex-warden of Impel Down) and I gotta say, I've got nothing that can disprove it at this point and instead have some evidence for it to be true.
1) The master is a liquid or a gas (probably a gas, but I can't say for sure) Magellen has been in a liquidish form, and is constantly spewing poison gas. Over 2 years, his powers could very well have developed.
2) Everyone below him is wearing gas masks and using gas weapons. It's clear the island itself isn't poisoned. For all we know, the gas they use in their weapons could be produced by Magellen.
3) As mentioned in my previous post, all of the frozen bodies in the last chapter were wearing prisoner outfits, so that's a possible connection right there.
If it does end up being true, I'm a little disappointed solely because we may not have a new villain in this arc, which is a shame as Oda always comes up with some good villains.

Hmm... just wondering whether there was any reason for Law to do the body switching apart from simply to incapacitate them.
Also imagine the voice actors having to act the part of their respective changed characters ![]()

My guess is the things we saw weren't their actual hearts that are used to pump blood all over their bodies but instead were what japanese language would describe as "kokoro".

There's always the chance that Magellan died and his ability became accesible again, or it was stolen by someone.

Thanks! that is most likely what they wanted to portrait here

I also thought about Magellan before, and I think the cover for this chapter (Hannyabal as the new warden) supports a bit this theory...we'll see what happens next ![]()

This doesn't make as much sense, but what if this is what happened to Moria? As I recall, they didn't say he died, that he just vanished.

Because Law's room only has a limited range, he can only move things within the bubble.

No, I mean what if the Master is actually Moria, permanently mutated to escape from Impel Down.

That's a good point, but Hannyabal being in the cover makes me think of Magellan as the gaseous boss...

What if the children are being used as test subjects by the gaseous guy to fix his body? and, what if he and the sheep guys are all former Vegapunk test subjects, left behind in the "poison gas incident" to rot?
Also, all the centaurs have the lower body of an animal, and Vegapunk was doing research into zoan devils fruits, since he produced the tech to create Funkfreed and the exploding baseball dog (forget his name). Maybe they are also a byproduct of his research, and were also left behind to rot.
As to whether the villlain's Magellan... Its possible. It would be funny if it was actually Don Krieg (he used poisons, has guys with gas masks), but I doubt it. I'm leaning more towards an unknown villain. I'm also really hoping that Law is not a bad guy, but we'll have to see.

Smoker put up a good fight, sadly not enough to stop Law.
The half pirate half crocodile is Brownbeard, how did he end up there?
So Law says the ones scheming are the marines that have plans that involve children.
Offline
I think Law meant that the marines were scheming something, just as Law himself is scheming something.
Noooo Smooker D:

If the crocodile centaur is Brownbeard, then I reiterate my theory that all the mystic creatures are the result of some experiment, possibly using Law's powers. And Smoker's heart didn't look like the one's before. I'm worried this one is more permanent.

THAT was a damn good chapter, did not expect that outcome in the fight. And it looks like the strawhats have undated wanted posters now, still can't see Sanji's face, but Usopp's is no longer behind the mask though I couldn't tell if it said Sogeking still.
That interaction on crococentaur's body was funny too. You're right Brook, it's really all about feeling.
I forgot to say that although I think it's been like this for a while the lines Oda drew in this chapter seemed incredibly thick when Smoker and Law were fighting. Kinda gave it a nice intensity... I dunno.

is Smoker dead then? as the @the_laughing_fool said, this wound seems more permanent...let's see what happens when Luffy interacts with Law...we didn't get to see Nami & company, should be very funny once they are shown...

Well done, Smoker... you fought your heart out.... but Luffy will have to save you once more...
Am I the only one who thinks that a Zoro vs. Law is the right thing... ?
Offline
Tch. I'm not a big fan of Law personally. He himself doesn't seem overwhelmingly strong, he just has a stupidly powerful devil fruit. It honestly seems like it might be the most powerful "fighting" fruit we've seen period. Whitebeard's fruit was more powerful on a global type scale, but Law's is just too good as is. Reeeaaally hoping it gets some suitable weakness coming up. I know haki gives some defense against being chopped, but it's still ridiculous.
Also, Luffy/Smoker body swap GO!

DAMN: and here i was hoping for Franky to make his suuuuupeeeeeeeerrrrrrr pose ... in Chopper's body ... and Sanj to say something like "I need ladies!" in Nami's body ...
Oh well: chapter was great all the same!
