I was just wondering. I was going to go to walmart and buy a ps vita and a ps3. I heard that the price of the vita will go down soon. Does anyone know when this will happen? Can psp games and neogeo station psp games like samurai shodown downloaded and ps1 games off the playstation network play on a ps vita? I already downloaded samsho and castlevania sotn and street smart. If I use my psn account I won't hafta pay for these games again, will I? What vita games can anyone reccommend? I want ultimate mvsc3. Is that a good game? Any help is appreciated.

There is no word on a Vita price drop, it's just a rumor that will probably not happen any time soon.
However, PSP and PS1 games that you've downloaded off the PSN can play on your Vita. And yes, you won't have to buy them again, you just have to transfer them to you memory card, as long as your Vita is using the same PSN account that you used when you bought the games.
And as for games to get for your Vita, Gravity Rush is supposed to be really good, I played the demo and thought it was cool. There's also Uncharted: Golden Abyss which IGN really liked and it looks pretty.
If you're looking at getting Marvel vs Capcom 3, I hear it plays exactly like it's console counterpart. So if that's your thing then go ahead and get it.
But if you're really interested in finding out what games are good for the Vita, head over to IGN and check out their reviews. IGN Vita's page

Thanks. Call me old fashioned but I love fighting games. My favorite is the sf2 series, and UMVSC3 seems like a good fighting game. My brother has uncharted and he recommended it, so I might get that. Is a 8gb memory card good enough for downloading games?

An 8Gb card isn't the best for downloading games. For instance, Uncharted for Vita is about 3.3Gb itself. An 8Gb would be good for bite size games, but not so good for full robust triple-A titles. I'd recommend buying the game cards for those bigger games.
