I was sure that FT A will get 100 points, as the rules of Pandemonium said, you get 1 point per monster you defeat and survive the battle.

You know what I've been wondering about?
Chapter 285 page 17 (Mangastream) bottom left panel; what's with Luxus' look, why's he smiling like that...?
I keep thinking it over, but it just seems so random, it doesn't really fit in the story...
At least other than Orga and him both using lightning magic, but I don't think that's it.
Offline
It's likely Orga's lightning magic. If someone with powerful magic of his element appears, he can use him as a measuring stick on how powerful he's become.
Offline
I think the Dragon Slayers will see through the illusion. They'll smell the 6 people in the arena fighting.

I'm a little disappointed Raven Tail got taken out so easily. I looked forward to seeing how the Fairy Tail members would end up overcoming Raven Tail's anti-Fairy Tail countermeasures...but apparently magic nullification was their only trump card. Once that Obra got taken out, the other members were pretty useless (including the guild master--what a joke).
Offline
That`s not the case...
1. Iwan says himself that Raven Tail members use magic that Fairy Tail are weak against. That is not mean a single Raven Tail can handle every Fairy Tail. Raven Tail just unlucky that they don`t bring a member that can counter a thunder (thunder is a very rare element. Even in One Piece, only Luffy can stop Enel).
2. Raven Tail are underestimating Fairy Tail too much, especially with 3 months training Fairy Tail did before the competition. Raven Tail are way overconfidence with their ability
3. Luxus is already way too strong to begin with. There are reasons why Luxus loses, first he couldn`t control himself while battling Natsu, and second he took out Hades' powerful attack intentionally with no magic.
4. Iwan in is a shock condition, knowing that his father knows everything about Raven Tail and yet do nothing. Or maybe Iwan can`t show his true power to take out his own son?
Offline
Yeah, slightly underwhelming right? Didn't think Raven Tail would be a bunch of pushovers it felt pretty anticlimactic, though Laxus is still a badass...
Offline
I wouldn't have minded how quickly they lost except for Ivan's "But I'm your father..." spiel. Once a villain gives that clichéd attempt, you know he's done.

Excuses, excuses. Bottom line is: Luxus is teh badass; but with the build up Mashima gave Raven Tail I was actually looking forward to a more exciting fight. It's a bit disappointing they got taken down so easily. Besides just as Luxus should know about his father's strength, Ivan should know about Luxus', logically speaking.
Anyway, I think what happened is that Mashima doesn't really have time for this fight. It's starting to look like a LOT of crazy stuff is going to happen this arc (more than usual) and to prevent it stretching out to long, the fight was cut short (along with the Fairy vs. Raven-subplot). Oh well.

Wonder if Wendy will try to claim the magic for herself like Natsu did with Zancrow.

Black Lightning guy also seemed surprised, which might confirm he is God Slayer too.
God Slayers are bs tbh lawl.

Suppose he had to stop throwing Dragon Slayers left and right.
I mean, has anyone noticed that a regular (though uncommon) type of magic like stellar spirit magic seems to be less abundant than most of the 'lost' types of magic
. Lmao, whatever.
Hope Wendy beats Shell though, she bugs me...

i think that's more because the powerfull key, AKA the ones that anyone would consider close to powerful magic, tend to be rare if not one of a kind. other than that they're mostly keys like plue, so there can only be a few powerful stellar spirit mages at a time

Hmmm, could be yeah. Never thought of it like that.
So then maybe most people that know stellar magic, use it as a secondary skill and maybe not even for combat but for other stuff; at least that would explain why it hasn't become 'lost' like the Time Arc, the Dragon Slayer and the GSlayer magics.

Looked like Erza may have noticed about Jellal, but the situation could become really volatile if he's unmasked right now. Both Kagura and that cat chick (still don't remember he name) wanna get him and should be close by if they're still in the arena.

Even if she noticed, it's going to be hard to get Gerard out of this one. They're going to want to see his face at the very least.
Damn, I was pissed when Doranbolt jumped in between. In a good way, but still... that's annoying
.

?
Well now, we know that the Eclipse-/Zeref-worshipping-guy doesn't know Yukino, on account of him being surprised about her usage of Stellar spirits.
So I figured she's part of the councils Rune knights... was I wrong?
Guess I'll have to look up the uniforms, well that sucks
.
***
Looked it up anyway. The uniforms appear completely random... -_- .
Well, the general consensus (and admittedly also my initial thought) seems to be that Yukino is in a Cherry Blossoms knights uniform visiting Arcadios (as he is apparently called).
This still seems kinda weird, can you imagine what would've happened if Lucy wasn't there.
Arcie: "Aaah dammit, I've got to find a stellar spirit mage! And they're so rare."
random underling: "Actually sir, one of your underlings is a s..."
Arcie: "SHUT UP, GREG! Can't you see I'm having a crisis here!"
Greg: "Nevermind (jerk)."
<_< >_>
Aaanyway, whole week to see what Mashima's actually cooked up for us this time.

New chapter's out. Mashima sure knows how to draw out your dislike for the bad guys...

Hmmm, was under the impression that Minerva had something to do with Juvia falling out, but looking at the chapter again there's no evidence other than her laughing after the fact.
Anyway, the narration in the last chapter and the narration a few chapters back has switched to Levi right? I wonder since Lucy was writing a novel based on her adventures if for some reason she was not able to finish, namely whatever event that's coming to pass in the Magic Games, and Levi finished it for her. Just a thought.

We all wanted: GILDARTS, LAXUS, MYSTOGAN, ERZA, MIRAJANE.
Sabertooth would have shitted their pants with just Gildarts.
I don't think Levy will die, maybe i don't want to
. I remember when Erza battled 100 monsters she narrated something about never forgetting about that day.

Aaah, that would've been a sight worth seeing. In fact they could've just skipped the five member crap and just brought out Gildarts
.
It's an interesting theory about Levy being the one dying, but it doesn't really seem to add up.
Why would a dying person record events for a living person, events the living person has obviously seen, because she was right there. Nah, I think Lucy's the one somethings going to happen to. Then it would make sense for Levy to record something; in Lucy's honour, so to speak. I doubt whatever it is is going to be death though.

Mirajane is a pansy now, she's nowhere near her former self. But yeah they should've just found him and filled out the team roster as Gildarts, Gildarts, Gildarts, Gildarts, and ummm... oh year Gildarts.
Only realized recently listening to the Anime that Gildarts seiyuu is the same as Kakashi... not that that's of ANY relevance.

I think Mira's still stronger than Gray though. But I was thinking, Erza, Gray and Natsu have worked together as a team before; that might have something to do with choosing Gray over Mira. Although I'm probably overthinking things again.

If they did that it wont be interesting because everyone would be wiped out in 3 seconds why?
Gildarts fights a dragon and got away and he can split everything
Laxus just gets mad and burns them to a crisp
Mystogan does some illusions and they would cover in fear without taking a step
Erza fights with a 100 monsters and gets wounds wich recover in less than a day
Mirajane just needs to go with the forbidden soul take over and she could wipe them out in an instant
So I would say it wouldn't be interesting because nothing spectacular can happen

Y'know in all that Gildarts excitement I forgot to write that since it's a two on two battle and Fairy Tail is going up against Sabertooth it's most likely that we'll be seeing some Dragon Slaying butt kicking. This also makes me wonder what elements of the two Sting and the guy that rarely talks consume. I believe someone pointed out Sting eating arrows or something though I don't really remember.
Oh and, in spite of calling Mira a pansy, I also think she's still stronger than Gray in fact so is Jellal although he's been completely exposed and wouldn't be able to use his power (if Ultear would even let him) so I don't know what the criteria for making there team was for them.
