Meanwhile, Kenpachi appears before the Vandenreich's leader, in true badass fashion, carrying a dead Stern Ritter soldier on his shoulders.
Who says the Stern Ritter can't be beaten without Bankai?  Not him, that's for sure!

Correction: TWO Stern Ritter Soldiers.

Also official is that apparently their bankai-stealing medallions have the capacity for more than one, if he wanted to take Renji's too.  Maybe it just replaces the last one, but if he can hold several...maybe they can use several bankai at once, too?

Kenpachi made an impressive entrance, but seeing as how he's confronting the enemy leader, I don't think this is going to end well for him.

Wouldn't it be crazy (the answer is yes) if the Stern Ritter leader and Kenpachi are brothers? Say Kenpachi was one of them, died, and came to Soul Society with some poorly explained bout of amnesia and became a soul reaper. I only say this because they kinda look alike and it might be some explanation for why Kenpachi never was able to communicate with his sword. It'd be interesting to say the very least.

They say he's sick. But three weeks, for a career that NEVER takes sick time... seems to imply a potential hospital stay. I want to say he's been hospitalized. Which one of you did it?

Well the reason its 3 weeks is because it was already planned to not have a new chapter next week, then the week after is Obon so theres no SJ.

I know I already predicted things not going well for Kenpachi and still stand by it, but I think I can say with pretty certain confidence that this Overkill guy is about to be Maximum Dead.

if he punks his way out of this fight i will fly to jap and blow off his drawing hand with a rock salt shell.

wow if hes been able to do this level of stuff this whole time this makes me a little sad bleach would have been much better with that level gore, would have made the attacks feel like they had some meat to them you know what i mean.

That was intense. Great solid chapter. Not a lot happened, but it was very emotional and laid out quite a bit. As for Kenpachi; well, the story is getting interesting. I'll reserve any judgement unless and until things are more clear.

Bah, typical Kubo cheating us out of a potential awesome fight. Genryusai made up for it in this chapter I guess... He was pretty bad ass and I did love how it stirred up everyone else. BUT STILL! *shakes fist*

Ooouuu, Aizen.... that would be terrible for everyone, though, as Aizen wants everyone dead, potentially. He may want to take out the biggest threat first, and you guys assume he will team up with the lower threat.. but in the process insure his own saftey and the minor threat's eventual demise, as well. Right now SS isn't the minor threat as they are not TRAGICALLY losing, yet.
