Kaizoku Fansubs / Forums

Maybe now I tell a banality, but in my opinion this special will be a sort of parody of Heiji Zenigata, the detective of Edo Jidai, literary creature of Kodo Nomura.
I know that he's a real famous character in Japan. His speciality was to block the criminals throwing some coins with force to them, just to hurt, not to kill. There are lots of movies or fiction about him in Japan. For example even Lupin III's Zenigata is inspired from this character (in Lupin III he's a descendant).
There are at least two clues  about:
1. After the Ending song Luffy usually end the episode with "Kaizoku ou ni ore wa naru!" (I will be Pirate King), this time he said "Okappiki ni ore wa naru?!?" (I will be an okappiki?!?). Heiji Zenigata was an okappiki, a detective.
2. In the fight scene against Zoro Luffy is using a jutte, a weapon used to block or disarm swordsmen/samurais. Zenigata had one.
In my opinion Usopp will feature Luffy's helper.

Hmmm, interesting theory. Quite possible. Or it could be a mix of several series. I'm hoping Mugen and Jin show up. Then Kazuya Nakai(Zoro's seiyuu) can play both. Looks like Nami's working as a waitress....just like Fuu!! Ok, stupid time's over.

The anime is more or less the same as the manga. There are filler episodes and various scenes are expanded a bit or shrunk for timing and effect, but still more or less the same. I doubt you'd be able to find summaries for each episode from the current K-F one to the newest RAW, I have yet to find it myself (I haven't tried hard mind you).

Sanji finally gets back into action in 253, wheee. I wonder if they're going to have that little sea train map as Sanji makes his way through the train. It's pretty minor, but would be nice to see.

Yep. That's the one. Good way to fill up the time though. They also showed a new trailer for Movie 7 with lots of new scenes. I'm putting the video of that up in the M7 thread if anyone's interested.

hey for some reason i can't find the M7 thread, i couldn't get the trailers to play on the offical site so i really wanna see it!  for some reason i have yet to watch 249- 253, i think its because of finals week but ill watch em soon!

I use Firefox but, I don't know why, I didn't have problem with the trailer with Windows Media Player.

My favorite pic. Zoro was awesome......AS USUAL! Sanji definitely had the funniest moments, imo.

I thought it was great. Very fun story. LOTS of special guests. So what story was it closest to? I think it had a hint of Kakushi toride no san akunin (The Hidden Fortress).


Edit, edit: Don't know when the next ep will be. The Fuji site shows a Friday morning special on Dec 30. So, we could have a long wait. Let's hope for an update soon.

That Sanji, when will he learn that it's quality over quantity.

Love what I'm seeing so far. But, is Pandaman wearing overalls...in the Edo perio?
