I actually found this very useful, and interesting. It helped me when I wanted to know when to watch the movies. And besides, it's always good to have records of things like this, you never know when you might need it. ![]()

OpenOffice doesn't like the file
and no way am I getting MS Excel just to read this one file.

My OpenOffice.org has no big problems with it. It takes quite a while to open it, but that's probably due to the fact that it gets a lot of 'Name'-erros in the Toei list. Also, the graphical views of some statistics (Release frequencies, rate comparisons) are not available in OpenOffice.org yet. Michael Meeks said at FOSDEM that Calc would be the next big target for improvement, though, so there is hope.
If you need to see that data, you may want to check out the 'Microsoft Excel Viewer' -- a pure viewer that is available for free, and doesn't run macros, so is safer than Office, too.

Updated with 177, and updated the charts.
Also, added a lot of information to the first post: http://kaizoku-fansubs.com/forum/viewto … 3718#p3718
If you have other questions or comments, feel free to post them. I'd welcome input and improvements, if they're not too hard.

The name errors were the problem
- almost every cell with any content in (aside from the static text ones) just had #NAME in it, and I'm too lazy to try and fix what the problem is. Oh well. Maybe you just have a more up to date version than I.
It's good that calc is being updated though - I look forward to when OpenOffice can really be a true competitor to Microsoft Office. And by "be a true competitor" I mean "crush it into the dust". I can dream, can I not?
And downloading the Excel Viewer as I type ![]()
To be honest, I just wanted to know what the recent release rate has been
namely because Skypeia is my favourite arc thus far.

like it says in the first post, there is an excel viewer. the #NAME you are seeing is probably the DATEDIF function I used.

If you manually enter in the numbers under the Days Between column (E in both Release lists), the rest will be filled in automatically. It seems to all read from the E column, and the trigger the E column reads from isn't meshing right in OpenOffice.org Calc. But it's not that hard to fix it. It just takes some patience... and a calender.

Woot, that Excel thing is great, it's fun indeed. Good job for recording the data everytime. ![]()
I am quite new here, so I was curious about the average time it takes to release an ep.. I thought it would be about a week and I calculated it: 1318/192= 6.86! So a bit less than a week
That's pretty fast.
And then I calculated Toei: 2342/272= 8.61.. hehe, so we are on average about two days faster than them ^^ which means, if this continues like this, we will catch up with them, I dunno if the releasing was faster in the previous years than this year though.. And I haven't calculated how long it takes to catch up with them, I'm sure it can be done =p and yeah I know, these are just statistics, I didn't ment to give you guys pressure or something, cause you do a great job ^^

Hi, I'm just wondering if someone knows how to make a little program that can use the names in the excel-overview, and then get the files on my (or anyone else's) computer to go from f.x.: "[K-F]One_Piece_186_[somecode].mp4", to "One Piece 186: Capriccio to Destuction The Impending Doom of Sky Island!!" Would be much easier to just click one time rather than renaming ALL of the files.
