*spoiler*if you think back to chp 275 (and 278), kakashi has a form of mangekyou (it looks different to itachs's), and obviously he didn't kill his best friend - he seems to have been training over the last 2 and a half years to develop the technique. though due to not having uchiha blood, it takes a great deal of energy out of him. *spoiler*
... and therefore, that event will somehow become known to sasuke, and he will probably embark on that route instead, since he originally hesitated about killing naruto the first time, not wanting to follow his brother's orders...
that is, if they get out of of orochimaru's be-- i mean, base.

and i don't want sai to die (at the end of chp 298, i was thinking, "WHAAAAAAT?! NOOOO!!!", but the next chp made it all better). he's funny. he gets naruto so riled up... heh, penis.

... hmm, maybe i'm too used to seeing bishounen... cos that was he is/was. a pretty boy. you could've told by his voice - while it was a female seiyuu, she was speaking quite low. it's a common thing in anime, for guys to have female voice actors... (naruto's seiyuu is a girl as well, you know... as is luffy's)

no idea... but you can import them easily enough (like from play-asia). i got naruto 3 - gekitou ninja taisen (or something), and with it a 'freeloader' disc to scramble the region code, so that my gamecube (which is region 4) can play it... that game's like smash bros melee...

Thats probably Clash Of Ninja 2... I have the first one which kinda blowed... the second one i saw at an anime convention so i thought it would be coming out soon. Thanks mugiwara

there are some fillers that pass... such a ep 101 (kakashi's mask). that amsued me to no ends, with all the bad, bad puns... (the crow, the scarecrow, the horse... ahhhh...)
and the fillers after that (with the marathon) were passable. they had to be done to get back on track with the normal story (and putting sasuke back in hospital), and aoi's seiyuu is one of my favourites... ah, ryoutarou-sama...

i've only seen up to around ep 150 though... maybe 152, and i'm really not wanting to see the others... aaaaahhhh, when will they do the kakashi gaiden? i long to hear yondy's voice...

I used to defend Naruto from its detractors. I'd tell them "no, really, the manga is so much better than the anime! the anime ruined [any given climactic moment]!" Now, I can't do that. The manga has gotten slow, predictable, and uninteresting. I still follow it because I want to know what happens, but each release brings fewer "I hope this happens!" moments and more "I hope this doesn't happen" ones.

Kishimoto is a good enough artist, but he cannot carry a story to save his life.

I don't really remember where Kakashi gaiden started in the manga, but you should find it there. It's around 20 chapters ago.... I think?
